Admission: The teachers were really good and helpful. Our college is linked with State University for Technical Education. The courses are just as good as other state universities. Most teachers were from outside, which was great because they were always there to help. The atmosphere overall was nice.

Placement: The job placements were better in the years before ours. Most companies that came were looking for CSE and IT students, but some let students from other streams apply too. Sadly, the companies for core streams didn't offer great job opportunities.

Campus: The college isn't too bad because it's outside the town, and the campus is really big. It's run by a society, so there are a bunch of other colleges and schools nearby. The hostel was pretty decent, but the college building wasn't that huge.

Admission: The teachers at Dumkal were really good. There were about 20 teachers, some permanent and some on probation. They were experts in IT and mechanical stuff. They were nice and knew their stuff. We learned about engineering basics, software languages, and how to prepare for job interviews. They also taught us a bit about finance and management. It was helpful to get an idea about how businesses work.

Placement: Back when I was studying at Dumkal, getting placements was tough. Since we were in a remote area, companies didn't come by often. A lot of us had to go out and find job opportunities on our own. We even went to off-campus interviews to try and get hired. Out of 257 students in my batch, only 5 of us landed jobs. The pay was around 1.5 lakhs per year. Merce Technologies was the only company that showed up to recruit us, offering software development roles in Java. The college didn't provide any internships, so we had to find those ourselves too. Since there were no internships from the college, there weren't any stipends either.

Campus: The college had great facilities like a yummy canteen, a library with lots of books, and a football ground for events. There were 4 hostels, 3 for guys and 1 for girls, with a total of 700 students. Inside, we had a canteen for meals, rooms with beds and attached bathrooms (3 students per room), and a common room for games. Both the hostel and college had Wi-Fi for students and teachers.

Admission: The teachers in the civil department know their stuff. The classrooms are good and there are plenty of teachers for each subject. But the lab assistants could be better. The management staff isn't very helpful. And there aren't many choices for subjects you're interested in.

Placement: The placements here are really bad. No one has got placed in the past few years. It's the same all over West Bengal. Since it's far from Kolkata, companies don't come here for placements much. But hopefully, things will get better in a few years. If you attend classes regularly, you won't be let down.

Campus: The college's infrastructure is top-notch. They have all the lab equipment we need. The civil engineering department has awesome teachers. Each department has its own building, which is cool. The college even has a website. So yeah, the infrastructure here is pretty solid.

Admission: At our college, there are enough teachers for each department. They're really helpful in our classes and always ready to help with any problems we have. For example, when I joined late in the first year, they helped me prepare for my first semester exams. Thanks to their support, I did really well and got good marks in all my subjects.

Placement: Lots of students at our college get job chances, both for internships and full-time gigs. For example, a friend of mine landed an internship at a local private company. And there's a senior student who's been working at TCS for about 5 years now, making good money.

Campus: The hostel is really nice because it's located by the road and surrounded by nature. They have clean water, good meals, electricity all the time, and security too. It's a great place to stay.

Admission: The teachers here are really smart. They're always there to help whenever we need it. The class sizes are good, with around 15 students for every teacher. I learned a lot about the industry here. The way the teachers teach is really cool.

Placement: The placement cell here does a great job. Companies like TCS, HCL, and Wipro hire students from our college. About 20-30 students get placed in TCS, and 8 students in HCL. Most students, around 75%, get placed in different companies. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, while the lowest was 3.2 LPA.

Campus: The Wi-Fi is in every class and hostel room. Classrooms are great. The college infrastructure is top-notch. The library has all the books we need. Plus, there's always a doctor on campus for students and teachers.

Admission: The courses here are free or really cheap. The college management system is super modern and well-maintained. The teachers are really respected and good at what they do. They use modern teaching methods. You can study B.Tech, M.Tech, B.A. I. T, and more here.

Placement: There are great opportunities for learning and the placement rate is really high here. The teachers are really helpful and guide us not only academically but also with any personal issues we might have. Last year, a lot of students (around 80%) got placed in big companies from every branch.

Campus: The college has great facilities like labs, library, medical center, and sports areas. The library is huge with lots of books for studying or reading there. They have Wi-Fi to help with studies. The labs are decent too. I love playing sports, especially when teachers play against students. Everyone, students and teachers alike, have fun with different sports and games here.

Admission: Some teachers are really knowledgeable and highly qualified, but not all of them. Overall, the teachers are helpful and willing to support students who are serious about studying. I haven't finished the course yet, but I already find it useful.

Placement: When it comes to placements, the college used to be great at setting up campus interviews for students. But now, it's not as good as before. Around 30-40% of students still get placed each year, but the numbers are going down. The college doesn't arrange as many campus interviews as it used to.

Campus: The college campus has 3 floors with super fast Wi-Fi everywhere. It's split into 4 blocks: A, B, C, D. The labs are stocked with all the gear you need. Classrooms have projectors for visual learning. Unfortunately, the canteen is closed, so no food on campus. The hostel is modern with private bathrooms, a common room, playground, and even a generator for power outages. The food is decent and tasty.

Admission: The faculty in my department are really helpful and super qualified. They teach us well, and the course content is spot on. If we don't learn what the industry needs, it's on us.

Placement: If you're studying mechanical stuff, you might get a job after college, but the pay is not that great. Other departments don't have many job options, so you gotta find work yourself. The college can try to help, though. Before, big companies like TCS and HCL would come here to hire students. But now, no companies are coming for placements.

Campus: At our college, we get free Wi-Fi which is cool. The classrooms are nice, and the labs and library are too. Right now, the canteen is closed, but the food in the mess is better than other hostels. They also have annual sports that we can join in.

Admission: The best part is having really cool young professors who are always there to help. They're always working on interesting projects and have published a bunch of papers from our college. Lately, the robotics and electronics departments have been working on some super cool projects that get students excited to join in. The Hackathon is a big hit with students everyone loves taking part in it!

Placement: The college doesn't have great placement opportunities during or after the course. But the alumni are doing well in different sectors because of their skills. Recently, TCS came for placements and many students got placed. If you don't get placed on campus, you can try for off-campus drives.

Campus: The infrastructure here is decent. The hostels and college have Wi-Fi. The library has a ton of books, and you can check out cool stuff there. The labs and classrooms are fine. The canteen isn't great, but there are good restaurants nearby. The college has a great basketball court and a cool vibe. There's a mix of people here, and everyone gets along well.
