Admission: The teachers at IIT Madras are super smart, many of them have PhDs from top universities around the world. The exams in each semester can be tough, showing how serious the studies are here. You gotta really know your stuff to do well.
Placement: Around 70% of us got placed in the latest recruitment drive, which is awesome. The highest package offered was 131 LPA, while the lowest was 5.4 LPA. Internships are cool here, with about 60% of students landing good ones. On average, we're looking at salary packages ranging from 17 to 22 LPA. Overall, the placement scene is pretty good at our college.
Campus: The internet here is super fast everywhere in classrooms, labs, and dorms. The labs are top-notch with all the latest tech for different subjects. The library has tons of books, journals, and online resources, plus study spots with internet.

Admission: The teachers here are really good and always ready to help. They teach us a lot of practical stuff that will help us in the future. The course is tough, especially because it focuses a lot on physics. You need at least 49% to pass.
Placement: Most of us in my batch got jobs, with more still getting placed. The salary ranges were pretty wide from INR 8 LPA to INR 40 LPA, with an average of INR 14 LPA. Airbus was the big name for hiring last year. Around 1 in 5 students even landed internships there as front-end developers.
Campus: I really like IIT Madras because they have awesome facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, hostels, and more. The hostel rooms are super clean, and the food in the mess is really good too. Overall, everything there is top-notch!

Admission: The math teachers are super helpful and know their stuff. The course is great for research or further studies. If you're worried about placements, you can switch to electrical engineering in the second year. The exam difficulty can vary based on the professor, so keep that in mind.
Placement: Most students in our course aim for PhDs and research jobs, so not many go for placements. But if you're keen on placements, there are opportunities. You just need to choose the right subjects and compete with B.Tech/M.Tech students. I'm not sure about other fields, but if you want a teaching job, companies like Allen come here. The highest package is around 15 lakhs, and the average is 7 lakhs. Everyone gets placed, but the packages are not very high. So, don't expect too much. You'll get a job, but the pay might not be great. However, if you're into research, IITM is top-notch.
Campus: The math department is in a great building at IIT Madras. The Wi-Fi is super fast 500+ mbps in the library, reading hall, and more. Plus, we have free healthcare at the IITM hospital 24/7 with top-notch doctors. No need to stress about facilities or sports staff. There are plenty of sports to try out, and everyone can join in.

Admission: The classes are small, with just 10 students for every professor. The Electrical Engineering department has the most teachers and gets a lot of money for research. Most EE professors studied in the USA. The course content gets updated sometimes, but it can feel like what we learn doesn't always match up with what's happening in the real world. The exams are hard, and everyone is fighting to get top marks.
Placement: Last year, there were lots of job offers at IIT Madras. Companies like Microsoft, Google, and others came for placements. The average salary was 22.31 LPA. Some students got really high packages, over 1 crore per year! Almost everyone in our course got placed, around 90%. Some went for higher studies and civil services instead. There were also internship offers and different roles like SDE and RF engineer. It was a good year for placements at our college.
Campus: I go to IIT M and there are 16 guy hostels and 6 girl hostels here. They all have hot water 24/7 for drinking and showers. You can play sports like badminton and table tennis in the hostels. When you're new, you share a room with two other people. But from the 2nd year, you can get a room to yourself or share with one person. No AC though. Each room has fast internet. The classrooms have AC and speedy Wi-Fi. The Electrical Engineering department also has a bunch of research labs which is cool.

Admission: The teachers here are a mix - some are cool, others not so much. The courses are well-structured and easy to follow, not too stressful. But sometimes the teachers can be hit or miss, making it hard to know what to expect. Things get tougher as you move up in each semester, so be ready for a challenge.
Placement: After checking out the stats, it seems like the job opportunities for Aerospace Engineering graduates at IIT Madras are okay. They're getting an average salary package of 18 LPA. But from what I saw last year as a student, there were no core placements for Aerospace students.
Campus: The department buildings need serious work some ceilings are falling apart. But the new students' hostel is amazing, like a fancy hotel. They have everything you need there. The food in the mess hall is pretty good, with lots of different types to choose from. They even have separate messes for North and South Indian food. The Wi-Fi is reliable, and the libraries are awesome for studying.

Admission: The teachers here are super friendly and helpful. They share their real-life projects with us, which really helps during internships and job placements. The course is very hands-on, with lots of practical experience, projects, and presentations. We usually have 2 quizzes and 1 final exam at the end of the semester. The passing grade is around 35%, but it can vary depending on the professor.
Placement: Around half of the students here get placed in lots of companies. There are around 150-180 companies that come to our college for placements. The highest package last year was 4.3 LPA from a Japanese company. On average, everyone gets around 18 LPA no matter what they're studying. The lowest package is 6 LPA. For my course, Tata and Momentive are the top companies that hire students. This year, many of us got internships in places like ITC, Jaguar, and BCG. The most common roles offered are in software, data analysis, and finance.
Campus: The campus and hostels have Wi-Fi, which is great. The library has all the books we need for our courses, plus comics and storybooks. Some departments have AC classrooms. There's a hospital on campus with professional doctors. We have separate North and South messes for veg and non-veg food. Lots of sports facilities like a sports complex, different grounds, and indoor sports in the hostels. Overall, the facilities here are top-notch and make college life easier.

Admission: The teachers here are really great - they know their stuff and are always there to help out. The course content is super useful and covers everything we need to know for both studying and working in the real world. Exams can be tough, but most people pass with flying colors. They make sure we're ready for whatever comes our way in school and at work.
Placement: The college has a good placement rate, with around 80% getting placed after B. Tech/Dual Degree and 75% after Masters. The salary packages are decent too, with an average of INR 22 LPA and a median of INR 19.6 LPA. Big companies like Microsoft, Intel, JP Morgan, and Amazon come for placements. They also support 6-month internships for hands-on experience. The top roles offered are in core (40%), software (20%), analytics/consulting, and management.
Campus: The MME Department has cool labs and classrooms with fast Wi-Fi. The library has tons of books, like over 2 million. The hostels are awesome, with single rooms that are fully furnished. They have Wi-Fi, clean mess halls, and lots of food choices. There's a hospital on campus with good doctors. And for fun, there are lots of sports facilities like stadia, courts for basketball, volleyball, and tennis, gyms, a swimming pool, and squash courts. IIT Madras has everything you need for school stuff and fun stuff too.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and really know their stuff. The course content is up-to-date and actually useful. How hard the exams are usually comes down to how well the teachers explain things. Sometimes it feels like we're just doing assignments all the time. We've got mid-term and final exams to tackle too.
Placement: Most students here aim for placements, but not everyone gets one. Some prefer further studies instead. The highest salary offered is around 23 LPA, while the average is 15 LPA. The lowest is 10 LPA. It all comes down to how hard you work and the skills you pick up along the way.
Campus: The aerospace department at IIT Madras was built back in 1971. It's one of the older departments but still has all the latest tech stuff. They've got free Wi-Fi, cool seminar halls, and classrooms with digital boards. Plus, every hostel here has free Wi-Fi, a TV room, a kitchen to cook, vending machines, and snacks for late-night munchies.

Placement: The job opportunities for our course are really good, with about 85-90% of students finding jobs.
