Admission: Each year, we had to assess how well our tenured professors were doing. We had to write up a review based on feedback from the department committee. You can find all the details about this in the faculty handbook's section IV and the department's guidelines.
Placement: The job placements weren't too good. They had this program where companies come to the campus to hire students who are about to finish their studies. It's like a partnership between the college and the companies looking to hire fresh graduates.
Campus: The college's facilities are super important for us students. When picking a college, we look at things like labs, classrooms, and all that stuff. So, it's awesome that this college has top-notch facilities. The labs are equipped with really cool equipment, which is a big plus.

Admission: The teachers at my college are awesome and super helpful. They're all really smart and educated, like the teachers from Jadavpur University. The semester is pretty challenging, and the exam questions can be kind of random.
Placement: My first year at college was pretty good for everyone. The placements weren't top-notch, but they were decent compared to other colleges. Last year, the highest package offered was around 8 to 9 LPA, while the average was around 3 to 4 LPA. We had some good companies like Wipro and TCS coming in for placements.
Campus: The college campus is huge with lots of different courses like medical, nursing, law, BBA, BCA, and more. The faculty members are really helpful and good at solving doubts. The library is huge with around 30,000 books. I love studying here!

Admission: The teachers at our college are amazing. They're like family, always there to help. They know their stuff and teach us so much. The course content is spot on, and they prepare us well for the industry. Exams are manageable if you stay on top of your readings.
Placement: I really like this college because most students get placed here. The highest salary package offered was 4.4 LPA, and the lowest was 1.5 LPA. Big companies like Google, Infosys, Mahindra, and Tata come for placements. About 40% of students get internships in different companies. They offer roles like manager, supervisor, and junior engineer. I enjoy studying here because it's affiliated with MAKAUT.
Campus: The Wi-Fi here is pretty fast at 5 MB, which is great. The labs are really nice and the classrooms are awesome, each with lots of lights and benches. The hostel is top-notch, with everything you need like lights, fans, and a great canteen. Plus, there are lots of fun game competitions happening on campus.

Admission: The professors here know their stuff and teach it well. The curriculum covers all the latest stuff in the field, so we're ready for jobs. I did BBA and the teaching quality was top-notch. The professors are really on top of their game.
Placement: The placements are really good here, and the average salary is decent. Almost half of us got placed, which is awesome. Some even got really high salaries. The quality of placements is top-notch. I heard that BCA students got the highest salaries. The salary packages are worth it. The college staff is supportive and always ready to help.
Campus: The college infrastructure is really nice. The campus is clean, with a cafeteria and clean bathrooms. Overall, I think the college is pretty good. They take good care of everything and have all the facilities and equipment we need. I don't think they need to change anything.

Admission: All the teachers here are doing their Ph.D. in their own fields, so they really know their stuff. They're all really good teachers. In today's world, tech is everywhere, so this course is a great choice. After finishing, you'll be all set to start working. Our semester exams are at a decent level, not too hard to pass.
Placement: Around half the students get jobs in big companies each year, making between 2 to 10 LPA. The college also offers internships in different areas, which is great for everyone. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Hexaware Technologies, and others come for campus recruitment every year.
Campus: The campus has a cool lab with all the equipment we need. Plus, we get free Wi-Fi everywhere. The library is huge and has all the books we need. The hostel is awesome too good food, laundry, and bathrooms. And yeah, there are separate hostels for guys and girls.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff and are always ready to help. But, I feel like the teaching could be better. The courses are practical and get us ready for the real world. Exams are tough, so you gotta work hard to do well. The passing rate is around 35%, so it's not a piece of cake.
Placement: The college placement rate is around 60%. They give out packages ranging from 2 LPA to 7 LPA, with an average of 4.5 LPA. Big companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Deloitte come for placements. But there are no internships, and most students get medium-level jobs.
Campus: The facilities in my department are okay. Sadly, there's no Wi-Fi at the college. The labs are good, classrooms are clean, and the library has lots of books. The hostel has Wi-Fi, but the canteen food isn't great. If there's an accident, the medical help is quick. They also have sports like cricket, badminton, running, and chess.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful, and the way they teach is way better. We have four assessments in one semester to track our progress. The semester exams are pretty challenging, and we also have a viva exam for each subject.
Placement: Around 120 students can study here. They usually get job offers ranging from 4 to 5 LPA. Big companies like TCS, CTS, and Capgemini hire students from here. A lot of students also get internships. The best part is learning about entrepreneurship, which really boosts your confidence for interviews on campus.
Campus: The college has good infrastructure and the hostel food is tasty. They have a canteen too. The food is really good and there are separate hostels for guys and girls. The rooms are nice. They are taking lots of precautions since the pandemic.

Admission: Studying for a MAKUT degree can be tough, but if you put in the effort, the exams are actually enjoyable. The teachers here are really supportive. If you're struggling with the basics, you can always reach out to the subject teacher for help. That's why I think this college is the best choice.
Placement: A lot of students come here, so I'm not sure about placements. But from what seniors say, there seem to be good opportunities for getting good jobs. I believe placements depend on how good our college is. So let's work hard to secure great job placements.
Campus: The campus is really nice with great facilities. They have medical camps on campus and plenty of hostels to choose from. The hostel food is amazing. I heard there are two canteens near the campus. The sports ground is huge too.

Admission: The professors are smart and know their stuff, but not all of them are favorites among students. Only a few professors are really liked by everyone. That's why some students skip class. Because of COVID, I haven't gotten the full college experience yet, so I can't talk about the activities. We haven't been able to do any hands-on learning because of COVID.
Placement: Last semester, a bunch of my friends got job offers. Some are working at big companies like TCS and Tech Mahindra with good pay. Others ended up at smaller companies making around 2.5 to 3.5 Lacs. A few friends weren't happy with their offers, so they turned them down.
Campus: The campus at our college is awesome and always looks nice. The buildings are good for all the different types of classes. Each department has its own lab, and there's also a library and a workshop for Mechanical stuff. You can connect to Wi-Fi everywhere. Plus, there's canteens, playgrounds, a temple, and even a hospital on campus. As for the hostel, everything's cool except the food could be better.

Admission: The teachers at this college are super smart and really care about us. They're big on following the rules, which is a big deal in engineering. They teach us how to do well in life and make sure we know what we need to pass exams. They explain the engineering stuff really well. Our department head is awesome and always there for us.
Placement: The job opportunities at this college are great! A lot of students got placed this year with good packages, like 10 lpa for some and 4-5 lpa on average. Even though the placement growth is slowing down, the number of students getting placed is still high compared to other colleges. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Amazon, and Flipkart come for placements and offer nice packages to our smart students. If you want a good job offer, this college is a solid choice. Don't hesitate to join!
Campus: My college, Durgapur Institute of Advanced Technology and Management, is huge with lots of buildings. It's part of the Rahul Foundation. Wi-Fi works in all blocks and there are labs, classrooms, and a big library for every subject. The language section in the library is really big.
