Admission: During my first year, I didn't find the teachers very helpful. But by the time I got to my second year, most of the department teachers were really great. They even organized quizzes for us. Every year, the college puts on a tech festival that's a mix of learning and fun. It's a good time!

Placement: Around 70-80% of students got jobs after college. The average salary offered was between 2.4-3.5 lakhs. About 10% of students from my branch landed internships at MantraLabs. The top companies that recruited from our college included Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Sears Global, Hexaware, Wipro, Accenture, and several startups. Most students ended up as software engineers after graduation.

Campus: At East college, they've got everything you need on campus - dorms for guys, hostels for girls, a guest house, canteen, and play area. Plus, there are like 10-12 Wi-Fi routers around, except in the hostels. The food quality is pretty good, and there's a medical center near the college. They even have an ambulance on standby all the time.

Admission: The teachers at our college are really great! They're all well-educated and have a cool way of teaching. There's enough teachers for each subject, with one for every 60 students. The courses they offer are super useful for getting into the industry. It's open for anyone to join, and once you're here, you'll definitely enjoy it.

Placement: During my time at college, a lot of big companies came to our campus. A bunch of seniors got jobs all over India. But then a recession hit, and me and my friends had a hard time finding jobs. Thankfully, the college managed to bring in some companies to hire us. Lately, I've been hearing that things have turned around. Now, there are a ton of MNCs recruiting from our college.

Campus: The college campus is awesome with lots of greenery. They have this cool tradition of planting trees every year. The buildings for different courses are really modern. It's a nice environment for studying. Plus, there's a big canteen for everyone to enjoy.

Admission: The lecturers at our college used to be really good, but they all left because of the bad management. Even the few PhD lecturers we had didn't stick around for long. Now, there aren't any faculty members left. Each branch only has about 6-7 students. The management isn't great either.

Placement: The campus isn't great, and the college's condition is really bad right now. It used to be good when we first started, but it went downhill fast. They promised job placements, but when we graduated, none of us got the jobs we wanted. Some ended up with support roles instead.

Campus: The course and college used to be good until 2013. But, not many people joined after that. Because of that, they couldn't pay the teachers and the college closed down. So, I wouldn't recommend joining this college. You'd be better off choosing a different engineering college that can help you get a job or learn what you need for one.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really few. One teacher handles both computer science and mechanical classes, and everyone ended up failing. Most of the teachers here aren't helpful, qualified, or knowledgeable. They just show up, teach, and that's it. If you ask them a question, they brush it off saying it won't be on the exam. The course isn't even done before the exam. Overall, the faculty and courses make this college the worst.

Placement: When I joined the college, they promised at least 5 campus placements. But guess what? There were no placements at all. Some students got upset and started protesting, but nothing changed. I reached out to the placement officer, and he said TCS and Wipro would come soon. He told us to be patient and stop the protest. But later on, they backtracked and said those companies weren't coming after all. Now, after 4 years, none of us have jobs. This college is the worst when it comes to placements.

Campus: The college layout is nice, but inside it's a letdown. Labs don't have Wi-Fi or AC. Most fans in classrooms are broken. Library is okay, but only old questions, no real books. Classrooms are empty without teachers. Overall, the infrastructure here is really bad.

Admission: The teachers here are a mix - some are really nice and helpful, but others aren't so great. Some of them don't really focus on teaching and end up wasting our time. In the lab, they ask us questions to test our knowledge. During class, they always make sure we remember what was taught last time.

Placement: The campus doesn't have many job opportunities, but the education and atmosphere are decent. When it comes to placements, this college isn't as strong as the older ones. I'd suggest looking elsewhere if you're focused on getting a job after graduation. As an electrical engineering student and a female, I didn't have any luck with placements. None of the students in my group were able to secure a job either.

Campus: The facilities here are pretty good. The lab equipment works fine, and the classrooms are clean. The sports ground is big and in good shape. The overall infrastructure is nice, and there's even a lift. Only downside is the computer labs; some of the PCs are broken, and they didn't refund our money at the end.

Admission: The faculty at this college is super friendly. It's been a few years since I graduated, but I still keep in touch with them on social media or by phone. They're always ready to help and share important notes before exams. We even used to have picnics together every year. The ratio of faculty to students is pretty good at 1 to 10.

Placement: I don't think the placement situation was great when I was there, especially for IT. I'd say don't just bank on placements. Be ready for tough times. Even though I didn't land an IT job like my buddies, I ended up finding a good job in Delhi.

Campus: The campus is amazing, I really miss it. It feels like a fancy hotel there. The canteen is great and super close to the college. They have Wi-Fi and the labs look really nice. The library has tons of books, magazines, and newspapers. The only downside is they don't have an outdoor sports field.

Admission: The faculty could use more teachers, but the ones they have are great. They're helpful, qualified, and know their stuff. Their teaching is good. I never thought about the student-teacher ratio, so I can't comment on that.

Placement: The job placements here are like any other engineering college in Odisha. The college needs to improve this system for sure. Our seniors got some good placements, around 30% of them. It's like how every engineering college in Odisha talks about great placements before you join, but the reality is often different. Job opportunities are a big concern for us students these days.

Campus: The college has great infrastructure. It's one of the best for that. Wi-Fi is there, but not always reliable. Classrooms are nice. The library is quiet and has all kinds of books. It can fit around 100-120 students. Labs are good too. And there's a big playground behind the main building. Overall, the infrastructure here is top-notch.

Admission: The teachers here are really great. They graduated from top colleges like IITs and government colleges in Orissa. They all have M.Tech degrees. We've got teachers from different IITs like IIT-Kharagpur, IIT-Kanpur, IIT-Varanasi, and more. They use digital methods to help us understand the course material better.

Placement: The job opportunities were pretty good until 2011. But then the IT field went down a bit, so placements were a bit lower. However, this year, there were over 250 placements in core companies. About 85% of us got placed in my batch. And the seniors before us did even better, with some getting offers from more than one company, making their placements more than 100%.

Campus: The college has awesome facilities! Classrooms and labs are top-notch. The whole campus has Wi-Fi, which is cool. You can play indoor and outdoor sports. The canteen serves Indian, Chinese, and continental food yum! Oh, and there's even a swimming pool. They've got around 50 buses for transportation. And there are two big hostels for about 800 students. Great place to study and have fun!

Admission: The teachers at this college were really good. They knew their stuff and were always ready to help. I felt happy with how they taught us. They cleared up any questions we had and helped us out when we were stuck. I wish we could have learned more about the industry, though. They were cool about giving extra classes if we needed them.

Placement: The job opportunities for my batch weren't great. We had a hard time finding jobs. I even went to job fairs off-campus to try and get hired. Only a small number of students around 5% got placed. The highest salary offered was 3.4 LPA, while the lowest was 2.0 LPA. Some local companies came to the college for recruitment. They offered roles like analyst and software engineer. Only about 2% of students got internships through college. There's a placement cell here, but honestly, it's not very helpful.

Campus: The Wi-Fi at this college was great! The labs, classrooms, library, and sports facilities were all top-notch. The only downside was the lack of medical facilities, which I didn't see any of. The food in the canteen was really good, and the hostel rooms were nice too. I didn't have any problems with the infrastructure while I was there.
