Admission: The faculty here is really nice. They're all so supportive and well-educated. The professors are cool, but you gotta reach out to them if you wanna learn. They won't chase you down to teach you stuff.

Placement: I spent 3 years at this college and never heard of anyone getting a job through the college. There's no placement cell here, so no placement opportunities either. In my time here, I saw 3 batches graduate, but none of them landed a job in any company.

Campus: The college was made during British rule and hasn't been updated since. It feels more like a museum than a college. There are 3 really big floors, so big that you need a lift, but sadly, the lift doesn't work.

Admission: The teachers here aren't great. They don't know much about what they're teaching. The teaching is just okay, and the course plan is not good. There's no head of the department, so no one listens to your problems with how things are run. Taking this course won't help you get a job in bioinformatics.

Placement: The college doesn't help bioinformatics students with job placements. The course started in 2022 without laptops or necessary software. The department lacks proper classrooms, so we struggle to find space for our classes. No companies hire students from this course, and no internships are available through the college. If you want an internship, you have to look for workshops or training programs outside of college.

Campus: The classrooms don't have computers or a good internet connection, even though they say we'll have computer classes. The classrooms aren't well-kept or cleaned properly. And there's no canteen here, which is a bummer.

Admission: The teachers at our college are awesome and really helpful. They give us lots of chances to learn and grow. They're all about hands-on learning, which is cool. The exams aren't too tough, and most students pass with around a 96% success rate.

Placement: The job placement for B.A. students at Elphinstone isn't great. Not many top companies come for placements here. If you want a good job after graduating, this might not be the best choice. But they do have a tie-up with internshala for internships, so you can try that for better opportunities.

Campus: Elphinstone College has a cool old building with good facilities, but the classrooms don't have AC. The library is packed with books and has a comfy seating area. The food in the girls' mess is pretty decent, and the canteen food is alright too.

Admission: The teachers at this college were really good because it's a government college. They all passed their exams. But some faculty members weren't great. This college doesn't prepare students well for jobs. The exams were easy, not hard at all. About 70% of students passed.

Placement: The job placements here weren't great for everyone. Only about 20-30 students got job offers from companies like TCS, Infosys, Persistent, and Rsl. Some students got rejected a lot. If you're just aiming for a bachelor's degree, I wouldn't suggest coming to this college for sure.

Campus: The college's infrastructure was pretty good. Even though the campus was small, the canteen and maintenance were top-notch. I really liked the British design and style they had going on.

Admission: The teachers at this college were chosen by the government, and they were really involved in helping us out.

Placement: The college had good placement options for us. They offered different job opportunities related to our courses. I ended up with a salary of 2 lakhs per year.

Campus: The campus is massive with top-notch infrastructure. There are awesome hostels for both boys and girls. Love it here!

Admission: The teachers were pretty good and always ready to help us out. Some teachers weren't great at talking to us, but most of them were awesome. The courses really get you ready for the real world and the exams are tough, but around 60% of students manage to pass everything.

Placement: Elphinstone College is part of Dr. Homi Baba University. More than half of the students in the Bachelors of commerce course found placements. We only choose optional courses in the second and third years. The companies that come for placements change every year, so there's variety. If the college treats us right, we'll tell others to join too.

Campus: The college gives free Wi-Fi to students, but you can only use it for half an hour. They have a gymkhana, IT lab, Physics lab, Chemistry lab, and Biology lab. You can also play cricket, kabaddi, and rugby. There's a medical facility, but the canteen isn't good or clean.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful, seriously. They're always there to support you. Having great teachers is key to succeeding in college. With their guidance, students can achieve anything.

Placement: The college charges the highest fees of around 1.5 Lacs, with the lowest being around 70%. They don't provide internships and only bring in students from other institutions like DVOC for seminars to make money.

Campus: The Wi-Fi in the labs is good, and the canteen in my college is cool. I can only speak for the IT department because that's where I spend most of my time. Not sure about other departments' facilities, but I've heard they're decent too from a friend.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really helpful, and they teach well too. There's a mix of new and experienced faculty members. The experienced ones have taught at different colleges and they're great at teaching. The new teachers actually got their MS degrees from this college.

Placement: The college helps students get jobs in India and abroad. The highest salary was in 2015, the lowest in 2012. On average, students get 3.5 lakhs per year. Many students end up at TCS after graduating.

Campus: The college looks old inside and out. Some classrooms are big but don't have fans that work. No canteen, but the library is a great place to study. Wi-Fi is available throughout the college, which is nice.

Admission: The teachers here are really great. They prepare us well for any job out there. The exams are set by them, and you need to put in some effort to pass. The passing rate is around 60%. The semester exams are okay, but you gotta work hard. The education quality is top-notch.

Placement: The college helps students find jobs by connecting them with companies through workshops and career fairs. They also offer career counseling, aptitude tests, and interview skills workshops. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, and TCS visit the campus to talk about job opportunities. In 2016, around 23 students got job offers from Wipro and Infosys. In 2015, Wipro hired about 10 students. It's great that the college supports us in finding good job placements!

Campus: The college has everything you need canteen, girls' room, library, and classrooms. They have separate hostels for girls and boys. The food is good, and the medical help is great. Lots of games to play like rugby, badminton, cricket, football, and karate. Students love the games here.

Admission: The teachers here are pretty good, but some are new. They know their stuff and teach well. This college is famous for its IT program. Plus, it's super close to the train station, only about 2 km away. It's a great choice for folks living in Mumbai.

Placement: About half of the students found jobs after college. The salary for IT jobs is usually around 3-4 LPA. Companies like Infosys and Tata come to hire students. Most companies also offer internships for either one year or six months.

Campus: The college has good infrastructure, but there's no Wi-Fi. Some labs are good, but the chemistry and physics labs need maintenance. Classrooms and the library are nice, but they don't have air-conditioning. The canteen is in bad shape.
