Admission: Understanding the admission flow at GITAM was easy. The registration portal functioned properly, merit list notifications arrived on time, counselling steps were explained clearly, and document verification moved smoothly with staff support.

Placement: Our college's placement program usually starts when we hit the 7th semester of our undergraduate course. Many big companies come here to hire, like Tata Consultancy, Accenture, Infosys, Microsoft, Amazon, JP Morgan, Wipro, IBM, and Deloitte. On campus, the minimum salary package offered was 3 to 4 LPA, and the highest went up to 12 LPA to 16 LPA.

Campus: Campus life at GITAM University is super lively and good. You get a perfect mix of studies, social fun, and ways to grow as a person here. Plus, the university always has many yearly and technical festivals, like Shore Fest and Pramana, which usually happen around January and February.

Admission: Starting my admission journey at GITAM felt simple and well planned. I filled the application without any trouble, saw my name on the merit list on time, and attended counselling that was clearly explained. Document verification moved fast, staff guided me calmly during registration, and the orientation helped me settle in comfortably.

Academic: Honestly, exams at Gitam are quite hard. I wish they'd give us an extra 30 minutes, it would make students happy. Our college curriculum is pretty balanced, not too tough. Lots of teachers work on it, and they even get help from other experienced teachers too. We don't really face any big academic issues here.

Placement: Gitam has really good placements, from what I've seen. The highest salary package here went above 2 crore, which is amazing. Students can start applying for internships right from their first year, and by the second year, they become eligible for campus placements. Many companies are connected with Gitam for these opportunities. In the last two years, more than 90% of students got placed successfully. Personally, after finishing my degree, I plan to do an M.Tech because that's what I need for my dream job.

Campus: College has many clubs for students. Like, there are so many coding clubs if you're into that. Also, if you like sports, they have different clubs for all kinds of games. Students themselves manage all these clubs and social groups, including things like the anti-ragging squad. We also have a college fest every month, which is really fun for everyone. Classrooms here have very high security. For subjects, sometimes you need to get books, but for some others, books are not compulsory.

Admission: Clearing the entrance exam made the GITAM admission process feel smooth. Counselling was conducted properly, document verification took some time but staff remained helpful, and registration steps were easy. Orientation details were shared early, which helped a lot.

Academic: Because I really like programming, I decided to go for Computer Science. Also, I have a big interest in math subjects, so for my last four semesters, I picked Data Science electives like Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Big Data. The college curriculum is good for real-world applications since all main subjects have practical labs, which helps us get hands-on experience. And honestly, the teaching method here is better than what you find in other colleges. But, there's definitely room to improve the course curriculum by taking out some subjects that aren't really needed. When it comes to exams, our mid and sem exams happen daily, usually from 9 AM to 12 PM. The difficulty level for these exams is mostly moderate to difficult.

Placement: College has campus placements starting from the 4-1 semester, which is when students become eligible. Just remember, if you have any backlogs, you won't be able to sit for these placement sessions. Many good companies came to our campus, including IBM, Accenture, Deloitte, TCS, Tiger Analytics, HSBC bank, and Federal Bank. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, especially for the Software Development Engineer role. On average, students got around 7 LPA. Roughly 70-80% of us found jobs in these MNCs. Personally, I didn't get selected in the campus placements, so I joined a startup instead.

Campus: From my experience here, our college is really good with both studies and fun stuff. They celebrate big festivals like Diwali, Vinayaka Chavithi, and Dussehra grandly. Also, on Independence Day and Republic Day, they hold ideathons, hackathons, and story writing competitions. Speaking of activities, we have lots of sports events like cricket, chess, and badminton. They also run coding clubs and more hackathons and ideathons for extracurriculars. For studying, we have an online learning platform that gives us access to so many books, journals, and research papers, and it's super easy to use. Our classrooms are well-equipped too, with projectors and notice boards. Oh, and there's a WhatsApp group for all students where we can post anything we need to.

Admission: Managing my admission at GITAM felt comfortable throughout. Online steps were simple, counselling cleared doubts, document verification happened without issues, and staff helped patiently during registration. Orientation completed the process well.

Academic: Considering the future, with AI possibly taking many software jobs, I think getting into ECE is smart. Especially since a new semiconductor factory is coming to Gujarat in 2025, which means lots of opportunities due to high demand and all. Honestly, the curriculum for ECE here is quite easy. But then, our ECE HOD keeps us super busy; we have classes from 8 AM to 4 PM every day, not like other branches where it's a bit more chill. Also, we have 70% internals, so expect a lot of quizzes, assignments, and mid-exams, probably more than other colleges.

Placement: From my experience as an electronics student, I can tell you about core placements. Students can start applying for placements from their 4th year here. To be honest, core company placements are a bit slow. Last year, we only had one core company come for recruitment, and this year, we still don't have any core companies showing up. The average salary package is around 3-4 LPA, and the best offer this year was 17 lakhs. My goal is to get a job in a core company, but I'm not very hopeful about getting it through campus placements.

Campus: Our college is always buzzing with fests and club activities, seriously, all the time. There are so many different clubs here, you just name it and you will probably find it. And if not, you can even make your own club! We have a really big library where you can borrow books and also get access to lots of ebooks. All our classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and each one has a projector and a computer. Honestly, the sports team here is not that great. But, they do give benefits like attendance to the sports teams when they go out to play something.

Admission: Beginning my time at GITAM felt well organised. The application steps were clear, counselling rounds were scheduled properly, and document verification did not take long. Support staff explained each part of registration patiently, which made the whole journey comfortable.

Academic: My time here was good overall. The college curriculum is actually quite good and covers everything well. What I really hope for is that they make it even better for science students, especially with more job chances and higher salary packages. Also, we really need more spots for celebrations and fests so students can chill and have fun to relax their minds.

Placement: Our college has many campus placements. Lots of opportunities come at the same time for students here. They even had a placement fair this year which was good. It feels like placements are sorted based on different groups, and students from the IT and MBA fields usually get more chances in these placements.

Campus: My time at GIAM was truly memorable, with so many good memories. The college clubs and their amazing performances were a big part of it. This university really helped me learn to socialize and made me feel independent and confident, all thanks to its various programs. I can't even count all the good times I had there.

Admission: Seeing how admission worked at GITAM was reassuring. The online form was easy, provisional details came quickly, counselling explained things clearly, and document verification staff were cooperative. Registration was simple and joining felt relaxed.

Academic: The course is actually pretty solid overall, it covers all the important topics, at least the basics of them. But, for relevance and the curriculum, I feel it's a bit lacking. They dont focus much on some key subjects that would be very helpful if you plan to do post graduation later.

Placement: From what I hear, our college has good placements. I didn't really look into them much myself, though. That's because I was planning to go for my Masters after finishing my UG course, so placements weren't my main focus. Still, based on the info I got, the highest package last academic year was 51 LPA.

Campus: So many things happen in our college all the time. We have tons of events and competitions, for real. Almost every single week, there are at least three different events going on. And not just that, we also get 3-4 big fests every year, stuff like Shore, Gusac Carnival, KK Fest, or Genesis. So you'll always have something cool to do here.

Admission: Getting admission in GITAM felt very smooth from the start. The online application was easy to fill, the merit list came on time, and counselling went well. Document verification was quick, staff were helpful, and registration with orientation made joining simple and stress free.

Placement: For placements, they begin from our 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro come to our campus. The highest salary someone got was 12 LPA, and the average package is around 4.5 LPA. About 85% of students usually get placed. I really wish to get a tech job after I finish my degree. The second phase of placements is also going to start soon, and it looks like it will have good outcomes.

Campus: It feels super vibrant because of fests like TechNova in February and Cultura in December. Our classrooms are all modern too and have good tech inside. Plus, the library is quite big and has so many resources for students. You can also join lots of sports, clubs, and other social groups, which helps you learn new skills and make good friends.

Admission: Feeling confident about joining GITAM came naturally. Counselling sessions were well managed, document verification cleared all doubts, and registration did not feel complicated. Orientation provided a good first impression of the university.

Academic: For the first two years, all subjects are mandatory, so you won't find any optional ones during that time. But when you reach Thodiya, you can choose one or two optional subjects depending on what you're interested in. The exams are not too often, but they don't come after a very long gap either. You really need to prepare well for the final exams with a proper schedule, or else you might end up in a difficult spot.

Placement: Roughly 70% of students from our college get placed, though this number is a bit lower than last year due to the current 'decision going on'. Students become eligible for these campus placements from their 7th semester. Many companies like Wipro, HCL Tech, and Myanmar visit us and offer jobs. For my year, 2024, the highest package someone got was 12 LPA. Unfortunately, I didn't get a job after my degree, so now I have to go for coaching.

Campus: At our college, we have annual and technical fests. You can expect maybe one or two fests to happen every two months. The college resource center is very good, it has so many books and an e-library too. This is really helpful if you want to study or learn about new technologies. Also, the classrooms are awesome and have very good facilities.

Admission: Trusting the GITAM admission system came naturally. Online application, merit list updates, counselling schedules, and document verification were all well coordinated, leading to a smooth registration.

Academic: I picked this college because of its nice location near a beach and also, the average placement here is around 90%, which is good. They have some important courses like CLAD and campus placement training for everyone. These classes really help us know how the real world outside works and even about our campus life. Exams here are not too tough, they are just moderate, and each semester for our course lasts for 5 months. I just wish there was more smart teaching methods instead of just old professors sticking to books.

Placement: Many good companies come to our campus for placements. You will see big names like TCS, Walters Kluwer, Microsoft, Adobe, and Dell visiting. The highest salary someone got was 65 lakh rupees every year. Placement drives usually begin from the 4th year, 1st semester. Our college places about 90% of its students. I am hoping to get a job through the college itself after I complete my degree.

Campus: Life on campus for me is going really well. We have different fests almost every month, which is fun. There are also lots of clubs to join, so you can pick whatever you like. We have sports clubs too where you can show your talent. You can even join the college teams and win medals. Plus, there is a club called Student Life that helps students with any problems they face in college.

Admission: Joining GITAM felt comfortable and well planned. The online application was straightforward, seat allotment counselling was organised, and document verification hardly took time. Registration instructions were clear, and overall communication made onboarding smooth.

Academic: My reason for picking Computer Science Engineering was my interest in new technologies. I think that in today's world, it's easy to access information from anywhere. However, I don't really feel our college prepares us well enough for actual jobs. They spend most of their time teaching theory, and practical knowledge is often missing. It would be really good if the college could partner with companies. This way, we could get trained like new employees and be job-ready. The exams here are also not very frequent, and the difficulty level is pretty low. Honestly, if you just have enough attendance, passing is quite simple for anyone.

Placement: You can start applying for placements once you hit your 7th semester here. Lots of big companies, mostly the mass recruiters like Accenture, Deloitte, Mu Sigma, and TCS, come to our college for hiring. The top package someone got from our campus was 55 LPA, and Google offered that one. The placement season started two months back. About 30% of us are placed already, and I am also trying my best to get a job now.

Campus: In our college, we have Gusac Carnival for technical stuff and Shore as our annual fest. The library is massive, spanning three floors, and we can find pretty much any book there. Classrooms are really modern, with projectors, speakers, mics, and AC. I gotta say, even though sometimes it feels like a bit of a letdown, our sports facilities are actually great and meet our interests. We have both an indoor stadium and a big cricket stadium where different events happen all through the year.
