Admission: Process followed by GNIHM was smooth, as the form was simple, interviews and merit list updates were timely, verification was easy, and staff guided registration patiently.

Academic: Our teachers here are really great, they know a lot and are super friendly with everyone. They spend 3 years getting us ready for jobs, making us industry-ready. We had proper grooming sessions and all sorts of interview classes too. Since our college was under MAKAUT University, exams and all our project work felt super easy.

Placement: Talking about placements and internships, most of the students get placed, which is good. Also, everyone in our batch got internships at various hotel groups; I personally interned with Taj Hotel Groups. Companies like HCL, IHG, Marriott, and Oberoi often come to our college for hiring. The salary packages for freshers are usually around 1.5 LPA to 2 LPA. Most of the job roles offered are for freshers.

Campus: I am a day scholar here, and talking about our college, the labs and libraries are really good, we're quite satisfied with them. However, the classrooms are not up to the mark for various reasons. Also, students here don't get any Wi-Fi. Coming to the canteen, the food is decent, and the prices are fair. The college also organizes lots of outdoor and ground sports activities, which is great, but sadly, there are no indoor games available.

Admission: Process for GNIHM admission remained efficient, as instructions were clear, merit list updates were timely, counselling was organised, and registration finished without confusion.

Academic: In our college, all the labs, classrooms, and even the exam hall are fully digital and have AC facilities. And talking about the teachers, they are super professional and teach very well. They really know their stuff and have lots of experience in what they teach.

Placement: From my experience, our college provides really good placements, like 90-100% of students actually get jobs. These jobs are not just in India but also internationally in places like USA, European countries, and the Middle East. Many students from here get top positions in different companies, which is why I feel very proud to be a part of this college.

Campus: Our college campus is really big. We have 3 huge playgrounds where they organize lots of sports activities for students, teachers, and all the staff. The hostel here is also very good and modern for students. It comes with Wi-Fi and many other cool facilities inside.

Admission: Admission experience at Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management felt organised, thanks to helpful staff during document checks, smooth registration, and a clear orientation session at the start.

Academic: Our teachers are really good here. They are like second parents, always motivating us and training us well. They know a lot and teach us things to be ready for jobs in the real world. Semester exams can be a bit hard, but it's okay because if you go to class every day, you won't need to study too much at home.

Placement: Our college has amazing placements, I'm really happy about this. We got placed in top five-star hotels like Marriott, Hilton, and Oberoi. They offered us good salaries, and about 80% of students from my batch got jobs. The college also gets us ready properly for campus interviews.

Campus: I like most about GNIHM is its infrastructure, which is really good. We have all modern facilities here, and the services provided are quite excellent. The college also cares about more than just studies; it helps you become a good team player with all the sports activities they organize. The food in the canteen is fine, but it could definitely have more variety. They should start selling other dishes too, not just rice and the basic stuff.

Academic: In our college, the faculty members are really awesome; they are so helpful and friendly. You can totally open up and share your thoughts with them without any worries. The course curriculum here is made so that we become ready for the industry. We will be doing our internships in the next semester, and the teachers are always ready to prepare us for that.

Placement: About our college, we have quite a big batch, with around 150-200 students. For placements, our college has tie-ups with so many different companies. You'll see big recruiters like Hyatt, Marriott, Sheraton, Novotel, Radisson, Taj, Westin, Hilton, Lalit, and ITC coming here to hire.

Campus: About the infrastructure and facilities, it's a bit tough to say. Because of the pandemic, you know, we all faced problems. I just went to the college to get my admission done, so didn't see much.

Admission: Entry into the college felt straightforward, with smooth online registration, quick responses to merit list questions, easy verification, and clearly explained fee steps.

Academic: The bond with our teachers here is really satisfying, I must say. I truly admire them because they nurture us with such dedication that this place feels just like my home. Apart from that, the course is structured super well to meet all student needs, making sure no one ever fails in life.

Placement: Even with the pandemic going on, our college still got almost 100% placements for students from our course. It was great because they managed to get so many good hotel brands to come for placements. We saw big names like Marriott, Le Meridien, Taj hotels, Radisson Blu, and ITC Group hiring from our campus.

Campus: The classrooms at our college are really good, and we get 24x7 Wi-Fi access here. Also, we have very well-equipped labs and a nice library. About the hostel, I haven't stayed there myself, but my friends who live there say the food is good quality and the rooms are well-ventilated.

Academic: The best thing about our college is definitely the teachers. They are super supportive and help us with everything, especially us students. Our faculty are very qualified, and their teaching quality is really good. They push us to learn new things and give their best. Also, our course syllabus is very relevant, which helps us get ready for jobs. Semester exams here are mostly not hard. Questions are usually easy to medium level. Even if some questions get tough sometimes, it's not a big problem to score well if you study properly and understand the basics.

Placement: My batch is still doing our course right now and we will be passing out in 2025. When it comes to placements, our college gets a lot of top companies. We see big names like Oberoi, Taj, Leela, and Hilton. Plus, many foreign brands come with foreign postings that offer a really good package.

Campus: Talking about our college facilities, we have labs for all courses and departments, which is good. Like, there are four labs just for food production and another four for food and beverages. For housekeeping practicals, we get one lab, plus a suited room and a twin bedroom to practice in. And the front office people have two rooms for their practical work. We do have a library, but it's not open to the public, only for college use. WiFi connection is only available in the computer labs, which is a bit limited for everyone. Now, about the hostel, the facilities are not so great, to be honest. The public washrooms often feel dirty, and the food quality can sometimes be an issue. Even though the rooms are big, they only come with one fan each. We don't really have medical facilities on campus. But for sports, it's pretty good because there's a proper badminton court and a big ground for all kinds of outdoor games.

I also got a placement offer from Westin Hyderabad, which had a salary of 3.6 LPA and some extra benefits. However, I chose to continue my studies because I want to start my own business later on.

Campus: At our college, we get really good practical training with all the labs. We have labs for food production, front office, F&B service, and even housekeeping to give us real-life experience. Plus, there is Wi-Fi and computer labs for everyone. For students who stay in hostels, there are separate ones for girls and boys, both on campus and a bit outside. They also serve food 4 times a day in the hostel.

Academic: About the teachers here, they are really qualified and their way of teaching is very clear. They always help us with any problems we have. The course syllabus is also quite relevant for jobs. Our teachers always support students to get them ready for the industry.

Placement: My batch has 30 students, and everyone in my batch is super nice. All batches here get their internship training from hotels in other states. When it comes to placements, top and big companies visit our college. They come looking for excellent students, and our college helps us get placed with them.

Campus: Our college has a really good infrastructure. Everything here is neat and clean. The labs are super clean, classrooms have smart classes, and even the library is very clean and has a nice vibe. About food, the mess quality is good. It is not like restaurant food, but it feels like home food so it is easy to eat. The canteen is also kept clean. For sports, our college takes part in events every year, and they conduct all kinds of sports activities. Also, we have medical facilities which are available for students during college time.

Academic: The curriculum here is quite good and helps us gain a lot of knowledge. Our teachers are also super helpful and they guide us in every possible way, especially with all these online classes and the pandemic going on. Also, the JIS University website has many e-resources available for students to check out.

Placement: Our course is really good because it covers all types of jobs in hotels or even on cruise lines, like for every department. For getting jobs, big companies like Hilton Worldwide, Marriot International, and IHG Hotels come to our college. Right now, our classes are happening online. And it's not yet time for our internships to start.

Campus: The classrooms in our college are really big and airy, which is nice. We also have a library there. About the hostel, I didn't choose to stay in one. For any health issues, medical facilities are available on campus. Before the pandemic started, sports and games used to happen regularly here.

Admission: Choice of GNIHM felt right because the admission team explained each step clearly, counselling support was strong after selection, registration was quick, and orientation felt welcoming.

Academic: What I like most is that our teachers are super helpful and they know a lot about everything. They always had answers for my questions and even shared lots of online and offline study materials. The course here is mostly practical, which is really good because it makes us ready for actual jobs. And for the semester exams, they are based on what's taught in class, so if you study, it's pretty easy to do well.

Placement: From what I've seen, placements here are quite good. Our seniors all got good jobs, which makes us hopeful for our batch too. Almost everyone in my class got placed in hotel and hospitality companies. Big names like Taj, Westin, Hyatt, Le Meridien, and Mayfair hired students. Some also got placed in companies like Nike and UCB. The roles offered were things like HR manager, FNB manager, front office, kitchen, or spa. The average salary package was around INR 3 to 3.6 LPA.

Campus: In our college, you get good sports like badminton, a basketball court, football, and a cricket ground, plus lots of open space to play. We also have Wi-Fi, practical labs, and a library available. For hostel, they give you an individual bed, a cupboard, and a study table. Food is served four times a day, and there are separate hostels for both girls and boys, located inside and outside the campus. The food here is quite healthy and tastes good enough for everyone.
