Goa College of Engineering (GEC) offers financial assistance to deserving students through state-sponsored scholarship schemes aimed at promoting inclusive education and reducing financial barriers. These scholarships, primarily designed for Scheduled Tribe (ST) students, provide support in the form of maintenance allowances, merit-based awards, and additional benefits for students with disabilities. The key schemes include the Gagan Bharari Shiksha Yojana, which offers monthly allowances to both day scholars and hostellers, and the Merit-Based Award & Recognition Scheme, which rewards high academic performance in SSC and HSSC examinations. Together, these initiatives ensure that eligible students at GEC can pursue their engineering education with greater financial ease and encouragement.
