Goa College of Pharmacy, located in Panaji, is a government institution established in 1963 and affiliated to Goa University. The college is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and AICTE. It offers B.Pharm, M.Pharm, D.Pharm, and PhD programs, with an annual student strength of ~700–800. The college achieved a NIRF Pharmacy ranking of 66 in 2023 and has a campus on 18th June Road, Panaji. Goa College of Pharmacy Admission Deadlines

Admissions at Goa College of Pharmacy, Panaji, generally open in April and close by June each year, with B.Pharm and D.Pharm applications accepted through the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Goa. M.Pharm applications are usually invited in May–June, with GPAT scores required. PhD admissions are conducted as per Goa University’s schedule, typically in July–August. Application fees range from INR 1,000–1,200 per program, and counselling rounds are held in June–July for UG/PG programs.

 

Goa College of Pharmacy UG Admission

The college offers a 4-year B.Pharm and a 2-year D.Pharm program. Admissions to B.Pharm are based on HSC (10+2) merit and DTE Goa counselling, with an annual intake of 100 seats. D.Pharm admits 60 students via merit in 10+2 with Science subjects. Application opens in April, with counselling in June–July. Total fees for B.Pharm range from INR 1.5–2 Lakh for the full course, while D.Pharm fees are typically INR 60,000–80,000 for two years.

 

Goa College of Pharmacy PG Admission

The M.Pharm program is offered in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Each specialization has an intake of 10–17 seats, with total PG seats ranging from 40–60. Admission requires a B.Pharm degree (min 55%) and a valid GPAT score. Applications are accepted in May–June, with merit lists published in June–July. The total fee for M.Pharm ranges from INR 42,500–55,500 per year. GPAT-qualified students may receive a monthly scholarship of INR 12,400.

 

Goa College of Pharmacy PhD Admission

PhD programs are offered in Pharmaceutical Sciences and related fields, with admissions conducted via Goa University. The intake is typically NA–5 seats per year, depending on supervisor availability. Eligibility requires a Master’s in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) with minimum 55%, and selection is based on Goa University’s PhD entrance test and interview. Application window is usually July–August, with fees in the range of INR 30,000–40,000 per year.

 

Goa College of Pharmacy Application Process

The application process for all programs is conducted online via the Goa College of Pharmacy or DTE Goa portal. Applicants must register, fill out the form, upload documents, and pay the application fee. For B.Pharm and D.Pharm, selection is through DTE Goa’s centralised counselling. For M.Pharm, candidates must submit GPAT scores and attend institute-level counselling. PhD aspirants apply through Goa University’s portal and appear for entrance tests/interviews. Required documents include marksheets, certificates, ID proof, and category certificates where applicable.
