Government Law College is among the top law colleges across India. In addition to the old building, the college has an attached building which comprises additional classrooms and a reference library.

Library	Over 42,000 books, including rare collections; original IPC like the 1886 draft by Macaulay, Constituent Assembly debates, Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha debates. Subscriptions include All England Law Reporter, Harvard Law Review, Yale Law Review, etc.
Electronic Research Room (ERR)	Equipped with PCs, printing facilities, mini library with access to databases like Manupatra, SCC, Lexis Nexis, Westlaw that supports moot court and research competitions.
Classrooms	19 classrooms for regular teaching.
Mooting Room	Dedicated space for moot court training and competitions.
Auditorium	Used for seminars, conferences and student activities.
Canteen	Provides food and refreshments for students.
Reading Facilities	Extended timings during exams, manual and computerised catalogue for easy access.
