Government Medical College - [GMC] Medak is a public medical institution established in 2023 in Medak, Telangana, serving the northern region of the state. The college received its Letter of Permission from the National Medical Commission in September 2024, marking its formal recognition for undergraduate medical education. Affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal, GMC Medak currently offers only the MBBS program with an annual intake of 50 seats. The course spans 4.5 years of academic study plus 1 year of compulsory rotating internship. The total MBBS fee for government quota seats is approximately INR 10,000–15,000 per year, with the entire course costing around INR 37,500–75,000 depending on the source.
