Admission: Throughout the admission process, communication was consistent and clear. Merit list updates arrived on time, the online portal was easy to use, and the orientation session covered everything without confusion.

Academic: What I really like is how our course curriculum is so relevant and makes us ready for the industry. Our teachers are also super qualified and really helpful, giving us good quality teaching. But, you know, the semester exams are pretty tough, and even the university ones can be hard. Because of this, not everyone passes, so the passing percentage is always less than 100.

Placement: Our college has a great 100% placement rate for this course. All students get internships from different companies, which is really helpful. For EEE, Kalki Tech is a top core recruiting company. They offer a huge package of 50 Lakhs per year, and many students get placed with such good salary packages.

Campus: For my course, the facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are really good. They also have sports and games happening, which is cool. But the quality of my hostel is not that great, and the food in the mess and canteen is also not good. I'm not really sure about the medical facilities in the college though.

Admission: What stood out during admission was how straightforward everything felt. Updates about the merit list and counselling were timely, document verification was smooth, and staff support ensured registration didnt feel overwhelming.

Academic: In my experience at MEC, it's definitely a top-ranking college, and students here have a very high pass percentage. Our teachers are really kind and super helpful, always ready to clear any doubts we have without any hesitation. Many of them are highly qualified, with some even holding doctorate degrees. Still, some of the theory classes can feel a bit boring at times. My last semester exam was a bit challenging, but it was still okay to handle.

Placement: Regarding jobs, I can say our college is pretty good. Many of our seniors get placed even before they complete their studies. Last year, the highest salary package was like 50 LPA, and on average, students got around 7 to 8 LPA. Big companies like IBM, Wipro, and Key Value came for hiring, and many other companies also participated in our campus recruitment.

Campus: Okay, so this year MEC got a new building block and a computer lab, which is kinda satisfactory. But honestly, the overall infrastructure isn't up to the mark. It's not vast like what you see in proper colleges, more like a high school that's just changed into a college. Also, the classrooms and library could really use some renovations soon.

Admission: Filling out the online form and completing registration didnt take much effort. After the CAP allotment, verification was quick and systematic, making the entire admission process feel smooth.

Academic: The teachers in our college are really nice and the teaching quality is quite good. For exams, it would be much better if the college gave us notes for every subject. This is because KTU notes aren't available for our course, so getting college notes would help a lot when we prepare. The semester exams are okay, but the time for each semester feels too short. This makes it hard for students to study everything properly.

Placement: About 80% of students from our batch got placed, both through campus placements and by finding jobs outside. The salary packages were quite good, with the highest being 12 LPA and the lowest 8 LPA. We saw fewer core companies coming for placements, as most of the companies were from the IT side. But for internships, around 40% of us got them, and these were often in many core companies. Top roles like Clinical Engineering and Service Engineer were offered to us.

Campus: From my experience, the classrooms and labs here were good. But, in the circuits lab, we didn't have enough resistors and other small parts. So, if you broke something, you had to buy it yourself by the end of the semester, which was a bit annoying. The hostel conditions, on the other hand, were quite bad when I was staying there. Honestly, it's not worth living in the hostel; it was very stressful.

Admission: From allotment to enrolment, the admission flow was seamless. KEAM counselling was explained clearly, staff support during verification was strong, and updates arrived right on time.

Academic: In my department, all the teachers are super qualified and know their stuff very well. The teaching quality is good, and the syllabus we follow is very useful for the electrical and electronics industry. But, the semester duration is too short because of the KTU calendar, which makes everything really hectic for both us students and the teachers. A lot of times, the full syllabus isnt even finished before the semester exams start. Last time, MEC had a pass rate of 64.19%.

Placement: At MEC, students can get really high salaries, like the highest was 52 LPA and the average is a good 8.1 LPA. This is because many big companies visit our campus for placements, including names like Microsoft, Yahoo, Nvidia, Cypress Semiconductor, Open-Silicon, and GE Healthcare. Our college has a very active Placement Cell that works hard to coordinate all these drives. Plus, some students also got to do internships with companies like Keltron, Oracle, Ansys, and Deloitte.

Campus: Our college campus has decent infrastructure, and it's actually getting better these days. We have Wi-Fi available all over the campus, which is super useful. Every department here has its own separate labs with all the equipment we need. The college library is really good, packed with textbooks, magazines, journals, old question papers, project reports, and even novels in English and Malayalam. For hanging out, there are cool spots like Elga, Casa, and Figa. We also have a volleyball court, a basketball court, and an open ground right inside the college. The hostel mess and its facilities are quite good too.

Admission: I didnt face any confusion during admission here. Registration steps were clear, verification was quick, and the onboarding process felt welcoming after the merit list announcement.

Academic: In MEC, the teachers are really good. They are all well-qualified and know how to manage students properly. A lot of them also try to have a friendly relationship with us, which is nice. For our studies, we follow the 2019 KTU syllabus. To be honest, it feels a bit old, and they dont even teach Python in it. But there's a new 2024 scheme coming, which I heard will focus on more updated stuff. About the semester exams, they are usually moderate or sometimes a bit hard. It all depends on how much you prepare. But good thing is, for the CS branch, they generally don't give super tough question papers.

Placement: Our college MEC has some of the best placement records, truly. This year, the highest salary package was really high, like 52 LPA. On average, most students get packages between 4 to 6 LPA. I remember last year, two students got a super good package of 32 LPA and they joined Ansys. Big companies such as TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and EY are among the top recruiters here.

Campus: At MEC, I feel the biggest issue is not enough space and facilities. For example, in the computer lab, they put AC and Wi-Fi, but some computers just don't work. And the lab itself is kinda small, so it often gets very crowded there. I don't live in the college hostel, so I can't tell you anything about the food quality.

Admission: My experience during counselling was positive. Sessions were well-organized, document checks were efficient, and instructions for orientation were shared clearly, keeping things stress-free.

Academic: Our college, MEC, has really qualified teachers who know a lot about different subjects. They are super friendly and give us almost all the notes and study materials we need for classes. But even with their help, we have to study hard by ourselves if we want to score more, especially for placements and interviews. The placement cell and training cell do give some extra stuff to help us out. If you make a good study plan, it's pretty easy to pass the semester exams. Teachers mainly focus on topics that come in the exams and questions from old papers. It would be good to try and complete all the topics given in the syllabus.

Placement: Being a third-year student at MEC, I can say that our college offers really good placements, better than most other colleges in Kerala. What helps a lot is our excellent placement cell and the strong bond we have with our alumni. Last year, 137 students from the ECE department alone got placed. Companies like Harman Motors and Synopsys were among the many that came to recruit, showing how good MEC is for getting jobs.

Campus: MEC gives us a lot of good facilities to study well. We have a big library with so many books and research papers, which is great. Also, Wi-Fi is available 24/7 all over the campus, which is super useful. For labs, especially the Electronics one, they have proper equipment like an LCR Meter, Signal Explorer-Digital Oscilloscope, and Linear IC Tester. Hostel facilities are there for both boys and girls. The boys' hostel can take about 200 students and has a gym. Girls' hostel also has all needed facilities and a study hall.

Admission: Joining the college felt seamless. Counselling, verification, fee payment, and registration were all handled efficiently without unnecessary delays.

Academic: I really like how our curriculum changed. The new KTU syllabus is updated and it helps us become ready for industries. Our teachers are mostly helpful and not too strict. They know a lot and teach us quite well. Also, the semester exams here are usually easy to pass, so most of us dont have trouble clearing them.

Placement: Talking about placements, our college has really good numbers. The placement cell here is totally managed by students, and they give super helpful support when we are looking for jobs. The highest salary package noted was 52 CTC, and mostly, the average package is around 10-12 CTC. Big companies like TCS and Infosys come to campus for recruitment. Also, some students even got placed in global companies like Google, which is pretty cool.

Campus: The college canteen on our campus serves really good food at very affordable prices. We also have many labs all around the campus, and each one has enough facilities for whatever you need. Students can use the library which is also on campus. Our classrooms are quite big, even if their quality is not the best.

Admission: Going through CAP counselling for MEC Thrikkakara was easier than expected. Staff were patient during verification, registration steps were simple, and the overall onboarding experience felt well-managed and calm.

Academic: From my experience in Mechanical Engineering, the teachers are really good. They are very friendly and chill, you can talk to them easily. Most teachers also have doctorates and are quite professional. But the syllabus for our course is outdated and has many things that are not really needed. So, to score well in the difficult semester exams, you definitely need to study a lot.

Placement: At MEC Kochi, the placements are really good, that's what we are known for. Our college actually gets the most job placements when you compare it with other top colleges across Kerala. A big shoutout to our placement cell team, they work super hard to get companies on campus. Big names like RedBus, L&T, Deloitte, and Sobha Construction are among our top recruiters who come here.

Campus: Our college campus is pretty small, with just three buildings right now. One of these is still being built. We have a small library, and the canteen is also not very big, only fitting less than 80 people at once, but the food there is affordable. Because of this, there isn't much space to just chill and hang out inside the college. However, we do have a big ground, an internal auditorium, an external one, and even an amphitheatre.

Admission: From the moment I checked my merit status, the process at MEC Thrikkakara moved smoothly. Online registration was simple, updates were timely, and staff guided us patiently during document verification. Overall, the experience felt well-organized and stress-free.

Academic: Our teachers are very helpful, qualified, and they know their stuff really well. But honestly, the actual teaching quality isn't up to the mark; there's so much room for improvement. However, the good thing is our course syllabus is super relevant, and it really prepares us students for jobs in the industry. Plus, the semester exams are good, and around 75% of students usually pass them.

Placement: Our college has pretty good placements. Around 75% of students get placed every year, which is nice. The highest salary offer was 52 LPA, and the lowest was 10 LPA. On average, students get 22 LPA. For our course, top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, LinkedIn, and DE Shaw come to hire. Also, 60% of students from my course got internships in different companies.

Campus: The mess food here is very nice, and the hostel facilities are also quite good, which is a big plus. But the college infrastructure is not that great, and the campus area is pretty small. We do have Wi-Fi available, and there are about 6-7 labs for students. One thing is, medical facilities are not available at all. Also, they have sports and arts events every year, but it feels like they don't give them much importance.

Admission: The entire admission journey felt systematic. From allotment to final registration, instructions were clear, and staff support made the process easier than expected.

Academic: Our teachers are very supportive and they help us with lots of activities here. What I feel is that the course syllabus is not always super relevant. But it's good that we stay in college for all eight semesters, which is quite helpful. The semester exams can get a bit tough though, mainly because we dont have enough time for each subject.

Placement: Lots of companies visit our college, which gives students many good chances. Big names like VISA and UST come here for placements. The 2024 batch had really great placements, with over 90% of students getting jobs, and someone even got a 55 CTC package. For the 2025 batch, about 30% of students have already been placed so far.

Campus: In my experience here, the college Wi-Fi is quite strong. Our library has a big collection of books as well for us. The hostel facilities are also good, offering Wi-Fi and decent food. They make sure the food quality in the college hostel is good. Plus, there's another college canteen available for snacks and meals too.
