Admission: Admission at Great Lakes Institute of Management went better than expected, with clear application steps, prompt interview updates, useful counselling support, and efficient registration before orientation.

Academic: What I like about Great Lakes, Gurgaon is how good the faculty is. Our teachers have tons of real-world experience from companies, and this really helps us understand things better, connecting what we learn in books to actual work. The courses here are designed very well and are super relevant to what industries want. This means we get properly ready for our careers. The quality of teaching is excellent, and the semester exams are just right, not too hard, not too easy. Basically, the whole education here makes sure we are totally ready for jobs.

Placement: From our experience, the PGDM class of 2023-24 had really good placements. Over 75 companies came for recruitment, which is a lot! Big names like Deloitte, KPMG, CRISIL Ltd, EY, and Royal Enfield were among them, offering many different kinds of jobs. The highest package someone got was 22.5 LPA, and for our whole batch, the average salary was 11.7 LPA. Most of us found top roles in areas like Consulting, Finance, Analytics, and Sales/Marketing. Also, new and emerging sectors gave us even more diverse chances.

Campus: From my experience, the campus here is just beautiful, really clean, and full of greenery everywhere. We have two academic blocks and four hostels. The classrooms are super spacious, and the library is fantastic. For sports, there's everything you need, including a gym. Plus, the whole college has centralized AC and Wi-Fi always works fine. The food quality is also good, and they give 24-hour medical support. It's a very comfortable and well-rounded place for both studying and staying.

Admission: Clarity throughout the GLIM admission journey stood out, as application steps, interview rounds, selection updates, and registration details were shared on time.

Academic: The course curriculum here is really relevant, it matches exactly what industries are looking for. Our college faculty are very good, especially the teachers in the marketing and analytics departments, they are top-notch. Their teaching quality is also super good, and most of our classes involve discussions based on real cases.

Placement: Many big companies like Deloitte, ZS, and Accenture visit our college for placements. It's really good because almost 90% of students from our course already got a job, and more are still getting placed. The lowest salary package offered was 7.5 LPA, and some even got 18 LPA, which is the highest. People get roles like business analyst, associate consultant, and sales manager here.

Campus: My college hostel has twin sharing rooms and they are air-conditioned, with all basic amenities. But the washrooms are common, which is a bit of an issue for the 1.4 LPA fees we pay. For that amount, you'd expect separate washrooms. The campus itself is good enough for 500 students, not too small. And the library is also very big and good, easily fits 100 students at once.

Admission: When I applied, the GLIM portal was straightforward, interview instructions were clearly shared, the offer letter process felt coordinated, and registration along with document verification moved smoothly.

Academic: Our teachers here are really good and are always there for us, like 24/7, whenever students need help. Most of them are super qualified, having studied at well-known colleges, and their teaching style is top-notch, always updated with the newest things in our subjects. What's more, our course syllabus is very relevant; it's totally up-to-date with what's happening now, we learn about the latest technical software, and they also teach us how to use Gen AI ethically. This course truly gets us ready for jobs in the industry, and a really cool part is KARMA YOGA, which helps us feel more connected to the community. The exams are not super easy, more like moderate to tough, but almost everyone passes, with a 96% pass rate.

Placement: Talking about placements, our college is really good because everyone from the last batch got placed, like 100% students got jobs! Many big companies came to recruit us. Names like Deloitte, KPMG, Vedanta, EY, and Infosys were there, along with Axtria, Berkadia, BOA, and Gartner. Students got positions like Senior Analyst, Team Lead, Financial Analyst, and Consultant. The highest salary offered was 21 LPA, which is amazing. The average salary was 10 LPA, and even the lowest package was pretty decent at 9 LPA.

Campus: Our college campus has really good facilities for students. We have big grounds for sports like football, volleyball, badminton, and basketball. The Wi-Fi everywhere on campus is super smooth and fast, which is very helpful. Also, the library is open 24/7, so you can study whenever you want. Our classrooms have all the latest tech for easy teaching, and they even set up online guest lectures from industry experts from different countries. The hostel rooms are twin-sharing, fully air-conditioned, and have enough space. The canteen food is also good since Sodexo takes care of it, and it stays open till 3 AM. For health, there's a 24/7 medical facility with ambulance services for emergencies and even a psychiatrist for our mental well-being.

Admission: Apply to Great Lakes Institute of Management felt simple due to a user friendly portal, clear interview communication, patient staff during document verification, and a well managed offer process.

Academic: One great thing about joining Great Lakes Gurgaon is the faculty. Not just the main professors, but the teaching assistants too, they are all very supportive and super good at helping students learn. After every workshop, mid-term, and final exam, they always ask us for our feedback on each course and its teachers. What's cool is that the college heads, program directors, and even the professors actually take our feedback seriously and make changes. For example, they even arranged extra tutorial classes for students who found some subjects hard because they had a different academic background. The way they teach the syllabus is very practical, using things like simulations, case studies, and even letting us start our own businesses in college teams. This really helps us understand things by doing them firsthand. Exams here are not just about rote learning or filling up answer sheets. Instead, they give us real-world case studies where we have to use our knowledge and apply it, not just mug up. There's also a point system that pushes students to join various business competitions and quizzes, write and publish articles, do research, and write case studies, all with a teacher's help. You need to have above 2.5 CGPA out of 4 to pass each term. And for the point system, you have to get more than 100 points every year, which resets.

Placement: Placements at Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon, are really good. For the last batch, almost 97% students got placed. The PGDM program saw an average package of more than 11 LPA, with the highest package going above 22 LPA. When it comes to summer internships, 200 out of 300 students from the batch managed to secure them, and the average monthly stipend was 25,000 rupees. Big companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, CRISIL, Bank of America, Infosys, Genpact, Hyundai, TATA Technologies, Gartner, and Room regularly hire from here. Plus, new companies like Airtel, Royal Enfield, Kotak Mahindra, IDBI Bank, Atomberg, and Marsh McLennan have also started recruiting. Students usually get roles in finance, different types of consulting, strategy, sales, and also presales & marketing. Some also got new-age roles in areas like Fintech, Internet Business & Analytics, and Healthtech.

Campus: From my experience, the best part of this college is the 24/7 library and gym. Apart from these, our campus has an XR Lab and super fast Wi-Fi everywhere in every building and room. All our lecture rooms are smart too. Living here is great because hostel facilities are well-maintained and neat, offering more than you'd usually expect from a college hostel. We get AC rooms that are twin-sharing for all students. There are many cafeterias and mess places serving decent food, plus vending machines and options for custom-made meals from a wide menu. What's cool is that there's an app for everything, making food ordering in the mess super easy. For sports, we have lots of indoor and outdoor facilities like a basketball court, badminton court, volleyball court, football field, cricket ground, and table tennis rooms. We also have a well-equipped music room with many instruments and enough space for dance practice. An amphitheater, or open-air theatre, is also available. To take care of student health, there's a 24/7 medical center on campus with multiple doctors and our own ambulance service. They also have a psychiatrist if anyone needs mental health support.

It covers all the important business stuff like Financial Management, Marketing, Analytics, Strategy, Operations, and Human Resources, giving us a really good foundation. The teachers here are very experienced, both academicians and people who worked in industries. For our grades, they check us all the time. Marks depend on how much we participate in class, group projects, presentations, solving case studies, quizzes, and of course, the mid-term and end-term exams.

Admission: Selection at GLIM brought a smooth transition, as document verification and fee registration were quick, the admissions team responded promptly, and orientation details were shared clearly.

Academic: At Great Lakes Gurgaon, our teachers are all really excellent. They have solid backgrounds, both from studying a lot and from working in actual companies. The curriculum here mainly uses case studies, especially those from Harvard Business School. This also helps us get ready for jobs because of the corporate readiness programs they have. For exams, we also get case studies. We need to use all the theories and things we learned in class to solve these real-life case problems.

Placement: Great Lakes Gurgaon's placements have been really great. We all know that the 2024 batch had a tough time with placements because of global money problems. Every B-school faced this last year, and we were no different. But our CCS team took this as a challenge, not a problem, and brought in many big companies. Firms like Deloitte, KPMG, Gartner, Bank of America, and a lot more came to recruit. Even in such hard times, the college placed 100% of its students. The average salary offered was 11.7 LPA, and the highest package went up to 22.5 LPA. The job roles were top-notch for MBA graduates from a Tier 2 B-school. Companies hired our students for growth in areas like analytics, finance, and marketing, showing good trust in them.

Campus: At Great Lakes, the campus infrastructure is truly amazing. We have a very green and modern campus, which shows how much they care about being sustainable. All the classrooms are fitted with the newest technology, making learning much better for us. Our library is open 24/7 and has so many books to choose from. There's even an in-house IT team that helps with Wi-Fi and all IT support across the campus. Also, I have to say Sodexo does a really good job with the food and keeping everything clean around here.
