Admission: Overall, the admission experience at Great Lakes Institute of Management felt well-organized and smooth. Clear communication guided me from application submission to final document verification, with the admissions team promptly addressing queries. Counselling was useful, and the transition into registration and orientation was seamless.
Academic: The teachers at Great Lakes are really top-notch. They are super experienced, like they studied in really good universities and worked in big companies before. And they are very helpful, always there if you need something. Our PGDM course here is a trimester one, so we have 6 terms to finish in 2 years. For every term, we have mid-term exams, end-term exams, and quizzes in class too.
Placement: From what I've seen, getting internships here is easy. Around 90% of students from the current batch got on-campus internships, with companies like JP Morgan, BNY, and ICICI Bank being some of the main recruiters. When it comes to final placements, our college is pretty strong. The last batch had a 95% placement rate. The highest package offered was 30 LPA by PayPal, and the average package stood at 15 LPA. Many big companies like JP Morgan, BNY Mellon, Deloitte, Gartner, Mastercard, Accenture, HSBC Bank, Wells Fargo, and GEP come to hire students.
Campus: College campus is really modern and looks very green, it's actually eco-friendly. You get 24/7 Wi-Fi all over the place here. We have 4 hostel blocks, separate for boys and girls, and also 3 academic blocks where classes happen. There's even an open-air amphitheater which is quite cool. The food quality is decent, you can manage it. For any small health issues or accidents, medical facilities are available all the time, 24/7. Plus, you can play all sorts of sports here.

Admission: Experience at Great Lakes during admissions was notably efficient. Application submission and interview rounds were clearly outlined, and once the merit list was released, registration and document verification followed a systematic flow. Responsive staff support ensured a smooth onboarding till orientation.
Academic: The course curriculum here is totally relevant, that's really good. And our teachers, man, they are super helpful and know their subjects inside out. The teaching quality is just amazing, like we get the best faculty ever. The only thing is, the exams are quite tough.
Placement: Our college is seriously one of the best for PGDM placements. Almost 80% of students get placed from here, which is a great number. The average salary package offered was around 9 LPA. We even saw some really big companies like EY, Amazon, Microsoft, eBay, and Intel coming for recruitment. The highest package for our course touched 29 LPA, and the lowest was 5 LPA.
Campus: The facilities at our college are really great, they have everything for students. Like, the labs and classrooms here are fully equipped with all the stuff we need. Also, there is Wi-Fi available both in the college and in the hostel, which is super helpful. We also have many sports facilities. And speaking of hostels, their facilities are also top quality.

Admission: The process of securing admission at Great Lakes turned out to be simple and transparent. Prompt communication during shortlisting, interviews, and offer release made things clear. Registration and document verification were well-managed, resulting in a hassle-free onboarding experience.
Academic: In our college, we have both regular teachers and guest faculty. Every semester, teachers from top colleges come to teach us too. All these teachers, whether they are permanent or guest, know their subjects really well. They also help us develop our management, communication, and executive skills. But one thing is, the college semester exams are quite difficult.
Placement: For internships, our college makes sure everyone gets one, which is 100% guaranteed for students. When it comes to placements, lots of chances come every year, and about 70-80% of us get jobs right from campus. Big companies like HCL, Deloitte, Levis, RBS, and EY come here to hire students. The salary packages are also quite good, starting from 4 LPA and going up to 23 LPA, with the average package being around 8 LPA.
Campus: Our college has really great infrastructure with buildings that are well-kept and spread across a big area. The classrooms are super spacious, come with AC, and have projectors that always work. Also, our college got an A platinum LEED rating. The campus Wi-Fi is very fast for everyone. For hostel students, the facilities are good quality, and the mess serves nice food with both North and South Indian options.

Admission: Consistency in communication helped make the admission journey smooth. Application and interview stages were well-coordinated, doubts during document verification were addressed quickly, and registration steps were easy to follow.
Academic: How the courses are set up. They are very useful and made so we become ready for the industry. You also get to study lots of case studies from big companies, which is super helpful. The professors here have tons of experience from different industries. They teach everything very clearly, and honestly, you'll enjoy learning from them. Except for just one or two, all the teachers are amazing and make classes fun. Because of this, you will definitely feel a big change in yourself within just two months. We also have many debates in class where everyone shares their own knowledge and experiences.
Placement: Speaking of job placements, our college usually has a 100% record. They count students who go back to TCS on sabbatical as placed; around 40 out of 400 students did this. Salary-wise, the highest package was 34 LPA, while the lowest was 8 LPA, and the average stood at 12.3 LPA. Top companies like Cognizant, Capgemini, Deloitte, and Accenture come for hiring, and roles like product manager are often offered. Since this is a one-year course, there is no internship provided. This is because most people who join this course already have at least two years of work experience, so the college believes internships are not really mandatory, and this system has been working really well for them since 2004.
Campus: Campus life here is pretty good, with Wi-Fi available everywhere for our phones and laptops, you can connect two devices easily. Our classrooms are well-equipped too, having AC, projectors, and a PC, which makes learning comfortable. The whole campus is super green, and we have awesome sports facilities like basketball, football, cricket, and many badminton courts. There's even a new tennis court which is really fun to play on. The library is also great, full of new books, magazines, international journals, and research papers a perfect spot if you love reading or need to do research. Coming to food, it's good, sometimes even better than average. We get four meals daily: breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. The college fee covers vegetarian food. Non-vegetarian options are also there, and they cook it in a totally separate kitchen, so vegetarians don't need to worry at all. There's even a different mess if some vegetarians feel uncomfortable. For any health issues, medical staff is available 24x7 on campus. If someone gets very sick and they can't manage it here, the college sends them to a nearby hospital with a doctor in a college vehicle. And the hostel rooms are super close to classrooms, just a 5-10 minute walk, and they all have AC.

Most common jobs offered are in consulting and data scientist roles.

The online portal worked efficiently, interview rounds were well-planned, and updates on offer letters and fee payment arrived on time. Document verification and registration went smoothly with supportive staff assistance.
Academic: Our teachers are really good here. All professors have their PhDs, and some are still doing research which is impressive. The course structure for the 1 year, which has 6 terms, is planned very carefully to build up business skills, teach teamwork, and leadership qualities. They kept class sizes normal, so every student could get good attention. For me, having previous work experience helped a lot to put all the management concepts into practice.
