Academic: Our teachers here are really helpful and supportive. Especially the lab faculty, all of them have PhDs so they are super knowledgeable and teach very well. The course syllabus is very useful; it prepares us for what might happen in real life. Lab periods are especially good for this, helping us understand things better and get ready for the practical world. College semester exams are not that tough, mostly they are medium difficulty. The pass percentage is around 30% but it changes every time depending on the exam.

Placement: Talking about placements, they are quite good here. Almost 85-90% of students manage to get a job every year through campus. Last year, the highest salary package was 52 LPA, and the average was around 6-7 LPA, while the lowest was 4 LPA. Big companies like Google, Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, and Amazon visit for our course. Plus, for internships, about 60-70% of us get offers, some paid, some unpaid, from places like Nvidia, Wipro, Goldman Sachs, and even TCS. We mostly get roles like software developer, data analyst, or even machine learning engineer.

Campus: In our college, the canteen food is really good, very tasty and not too expensive. We have a big library too, full of useful books for engineering and even management courses. The campus and hostel buildings are a bit old but they are well kept. Our labs are not huge, but they have decent equipment. Plus, the lab teachers are super supportive and always help us. One big problem is the Wi-Fi, it's very weak everywhere. They don't focus much on sports or games here; the main thing is always our studies.

Academic: Attendance here is pretty chill, I heard this from my seniors. Most of the faculty members are good, but you know, some teachers are really cool and nice, while a few others are not that great, so just be careful. Even some professors told us that we have time to do other things besides studies.

Placement: Honestly, the placements at our college aren't that great. If you're looking for a really good salary package, you'll probably have to find an off-campus job yourself. It's the same story with internships; there are hardly any on-campus ones. You pretty much have to sort out your own internships because the college doesn't offer much support for them. On the bright side, we do have cool societies, like Team Jatayu, which can really boost your resume.

Campus: At our college, the internet is a big problem. Inside the classrooms, Wi-Fi barely works, and the speed is always very slow. When it comes to sports, the facilities are quite bad, and the main ground is just too small. Even the badminton court needs you to pay for it to play. On a good note, I've heard from my friends in the hostel that the mess food is pretty good, but I don't stay in the hostel myself so I can't confirm.

The questions are not too hard, and you just need to score more than 12 marks out of 30 to pass them. Our teachers and faculty here are really helpful and friendly, probably because most of them are young professors.

Placement: Talking about placements at VIPS TC, I would say they are just average. This year, only 70% of the CSE batch got placed. The highest package for 2025 was 12 LPA, and the average package came out to be 4 LPA. Mostly, students get their internships by the third year, often with new start-ups or some big mass recruiting companies. SDE and data analyst were among the highly preferred roles this year. Some of the companies I know that come for placements are IBM, CAPGEMINI, EY, and Zomato.

Campus: VIPS for sure has the best infrastructure among all IPU colleges. Our technical campus is fully equipped with student Wi-Fi, and the labs are new and have all the latest things. Classrooms are very clean and air-conditioned, and the library has a cool vibe with modern computers, lots of books, and AC too. However, VIPS does not have hostels since the campus is not that big. There is only one canteen, and the food served there is just average. We also only have one medical room and just a badminton court in the basement. There's nothing much else for sports here.

Many students also got internships. This year, the top salary was between 60 to 70 LPA, with job roles such as software developer and graphic designer.

Campus: From what my friends tell me, the hostel rooms are really nice. Even though I don't stay there, they always say the rooms are big, clean, and fully ready with ACs, beds, cupboards, and study tables. They also talk a lot about how good the mess food is, calling it very tasty. For hostel students, there are also sports like tennis, badminton, and even board games available.

Our teachers are qualified, but their way of teaching is just average. Still, some teachers are super helpful when you need them. Exams are usually moderate, mostly focusing on theory, and a lot of students pass around 80 to 90 percent. These exams, by the way, are all based on GSSIPU University standards.

Placement: About jobs and placements, our college does quite well. Around 70-80% of students get placed every year. The top salary offered was 35 LPA, with most people getting between 6 and 7 LPA on average. Even the lowest salary package is 3 LPA. Big companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, and Wipro come for hiring. Plus, almost 60% of students manage to get internships in IT companies or various startups. They offer roles like SDE, analyst, and developer, with Amazon being one of the companies hiring for these.

Campus: What I like about MAIT is the good infrastructure. We get Wi-Fi, big classrooms, and computer labs to study, plus a library that has many books. They also have sports facilities and basic medical support if needed. The mess food is decent, and our canteen is good too. However, the hostel facilities are just average. Overall, MAIT is a pretty good college.

Academic: Some teachers here are really nice and helpful, always ready to sort out our study problems. But then, some others, like our HOD, don't know much and won't help students who are struggling, so we have to learn stuff from other places. Our course is good because it gives us knowledge for industry jobs and has a lot of fieldwork. It's just that the semester exams are super tough, and only 40% of us usually pass.

Placement: I'm in the EEE branch here at college. For our EEE branch, there are no companies that come for placements usually. But there's a good thing, we can sit for placements in other branches if we complete some coding courses. Also, if a student doesn't get an internship on their own, our college offers paid internships which is a big help. Plus, our course is also good for getting government jobs.

Campus: Our classrooms are always clean, and the library has every book we need for our studies. But honestly, the mess food is the worst thing here. Also, there's only Wi-Fi for the lab computers, not for students to use on their own devices. The college only has a hostel for girls, and I can't really say much about that since I don't use it.

Earlier, in 2021, big companies like Amazon used to come, but they haven't visited since. So, if you have really good skills, then only you can expect to get a nice package.

Campus: In our college, the classrooms are kind of old school, with wooden benches and whiteboards that are not smart. Each class gets two ACs, which is nice, but sometimes they dont even run. But if you talk about the labs, like CSE, AI, or Chemistry labs, they are super good and well-maintained. The facilities there are pretty solid.

If you are looking for really high-paying tech jobs, there aren't too many on campus, so you might need to try hard on your own and find jobs outside the college. For CSE students, placements are generally better, with an average salary of about 7-8 Lacs. This year, the top package on campus was around 25 LPA, but off campus, some got as high as 60 LPA. Also, roughly 50-60% of students manage to get internships, mainly in startups and a few bigger companies, but mostly these are found off campus.

Campus: When it comes to facilities, our college has pretty good ones. There are 3 canteens where you can get good quality food for a decent price. We also have good sports options like a volleyball court, a netball court, and a Table Tennis court. Medical facilities are quite good too. Our labs and classrooms have all the basic stuff we need for studies. The only thing is, there is no hostel in the college, but many PGs are available close by. WiFi is available everywhere but it is mainly for staff members, and we only get the password if we really need it.

It teaches us only things that are useful for jobs and placements. Exams for each semester are not too hard. Even a normal student can pass easily because teachers are quite chill about it. But the teaching quality could be better. Our classrooms don't have AC or smartboards, just blackboards, which feels a bit old-school.

The average salary package is usually between 5 LPA to 7 LPA, especially in good tech firms. The best placement so far was 84 LPA from Amazon, while the lowest was around 3.5 LPA. Still, the college helps with some paid internships like with IBM and Learnovate. Many students also look for internships outside campus and get really good offers.

Campus: Our college campus is really good. The buildings are old style, which actually gives them a vintage look and makes the campus beautiful. The whole place is spread out over a big area, it's very green and has a nice vibe everywhere. All the facilities here are up to the mark and they give good services. But classrooms don't have AC, and that's a big problem in summer as it becomes hard to focus. Our library is well-stocked with all the books we need. However, hostels are not available here. Things like the canteen and sports facilities are all good.

The main teaching here doesnt make you fully ready for a job, so you have to do your own extra grind for that. Talking about semester exams, they are kind of average level. If you just pay attention during class, you can pass without much trouble.

Placement: Almost everyone from our college got an internship at DRDO. Zs, Amazon, and Adobe are some of the top companies that come here. Students from our college generally get pretty good off-campus placements too. This year, only 4-5 students from my branch got placed because mostly only IT companies came to college. But last year, most of the students who got placed were from my branch, even in IT sectors only.

Campus: Okay so, our college main buildings are kinda old. But there's this new building for CSE and AI ML courses, and that one is really nice with modern stuff. Coming to the hostel, it's not that great infra wise. It's a small place, maybe for 100-200 students only. Many students still prefer it even though it feels a bit overpriced sometimes. Food here is decent, and other things in the hostel are also just okay, not super fancy or huge.
