Admission: The teachers at our college mostly have Ph.D.s. They're really helpful and know their stuff. The teaching is top-notch. The course content is spot-on and prepares us well for the industry. The exams each semester aren't too tough, and everyone manages to pass them.

Placement: More than 60% of students in my program land placements. Companies such as Keventer, Cognizant, and Coca-Cola come for recruitment. There are opportunities in areas like food safety, production, research, packaging, and more.

Campus: The college has good facilities for food technology students. The classrooms don't have AC, but the labs do. You can use the library during college hours. The hostel facilities are good, and the food is hygienic. The canteen is also nice. They have sick rooms for medical issues and good sports facilities too.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and always there for us when we need them. They're really knowledgeable and have lots of experience. The teaching is great, and they explain everything really well. The course content is spot on and prepares us well for real-world jobs. The exams can be tough, but if you study hard, you'll be fine. You just need 33% to pass.

Placement: The placement scene at our college is awesome! Over 85% of students get placed every year right from campus. The highest package is around 2 Lacs per year, while the lowest is 3 Lacs per year. On average, students bag around 5-7 Lacs per year. For our department, top companies like Coca-Cola, Keventer, Sobisco, and Nestle come for recruitment. The college also helps us secure internships with companies like Raja Biscuit and PepsiCo. After graduating, students get roles like lab assistant, quality checker, or production manager. It's pretty cool how the college sets us up for success in the job market!

Campus: The campus has good Wi-Fi, labs are well-equipped, classrooms are big, and there are smart classrooms too. Our college library has a variety of books and journals for students. The hostel rooms are clean and spacious, and the food is pretty good. We have medical facilities on campus, from first aid to ambulances. Our college focuses a lot on sports and organizes tournaments for different sports.

Admission: The teachers were really helpful and knew their stuff. They gave us lots of help. The semester exams were pretty easy. They also gave us some good advice. Almost everyone passed, like 98% of us. The stuff we learned in class was actually useful for getting a job.

Placement: To get into this course at college, you gotta have at least 60% in math, physics, and biology. They offer a salary package of 2.5 LPA. Big companies like Amazon and Tata Motors hire students from this course. Lots of students get internships too.

Campus: The college facilities here are awesome. The labs, library, and classrooms are all super clean. I love that they offer a variety of sports too. The food in the mess and canteen is usually pretty good. Overall, I'm happy with everything here.

Admission: The faculty here is the worst. They're uncooperative, rude, and don't know how to treat students with respect. They act like we're begging for marks, and even blackmail us. Plus, they always take credit for our work. It's frustrating.

Placement: Only a few students landed jobs, and the placement team struggled to help. The training they provided wasn't great either. The coding challenges were super hard (level 8), but the training only covered basic stuff (level 3-4).

Campus: The course used to be affordable before, but they changed the fee structure now. The environment was nice, and the college organized events and fests every year. Famous celebrities would perform there. Overall, the course fees I paid felt fair.

Admission: The teachers at GNIT, Sodepur are okay, but they could improve their teaching style. The course content is okay, but it could include more practical industry skills. Exams are not too hard, and most students pass with around 85%-90%. Some of us also take extra classes to get ready for jobs.

Placement: The placement rate at GNIT, Sodepur was awesome in 2023 almost 98%! The highest salaries were for CSE at 26.5 LPA, ECE at 11.5 LPA, and IT at 10.5 LPA. Amazon, Deloitte, Capgemini, and Zscaler were the top companies hiring. Students did internships with PepsiCo, Keventer Agro, and others, and landed cool jobs like software developers.

Campus: GNIT in Sodepur has really cool labs and classrooms. The library is huge and the whole campus has Wi-Fi. The hostels are clean, with power all the time, good food, and a medical center. They have sports like football, cricket, and indoor games. It's a nice balance of studying and fun campus life.

Admission: The faculty in our department are really nice and knowledgeable. They help us a lot with research projects. The campus is safe with guards and cameras all over. Classes are not too packed, usually 5-10 lectures a week. You gotta stay on top of your studies to do well in the semester.

Placement: Most students get placed easily, some even get more than one job offer from big companies. Salaries range from 3.5 LPA to 26 LPA. Big companies like Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, TCS, Tech Mahindra, LTIMindtree, and ITC Infotech come to hire MCA students from our college.

Campus: The department offers top-notch labs and high-tech systems for studying. The library is awesome with computers and books you can keep for half a year. They've got plenty of sports fields for different games. The food in the mess is decent in quality and taste.

Admission: The teachers are super nice and I really enjoy how they teach. But there aren't enough classes, so we have to study a lot on our own. The exams are held at the college and the questions are pretty standard. Luckily, I did well and got a 9.1 SGPA last semester.

Placement: I'm Prolay Halder, studying B.Tech in CSE at GNIT, Kolkata, part of the 2026 batch. The placement scene for CSE is just okay. Last year, the average package was around 4LPA, and only about 50-60% of students landed jobs. Companies like Accenture, Mindtree, Deloitte, and Capgemini were the top recruiters. TCS doesn't visit our college, but JIS Group lets us take part in other college placements. CSE students have better chances here compared to other departments.

Campus: The CSE department at GNIT has smart classrooms with full AC, and they also provide Wi-Fi for students. Unfortunately, GNIT doesn't have its own canteen, but there's one in another building on campus. The cafeteria at GNIT is usually closed, except for special events.

If you're going for computer science or finance, you could land a sweet deal. But if you're looking at smaller firms or startups, the pay might be lower, like 3 to 4 lakhs for starters.

Campus: The college has all the basics you need: beds, desks, Wi-Fi, and 24/7 water and electricity. Some areas are super clean and well-maintained, but others could be better. There are places to hang out, but some parts just stick to the basics. If you're lucky, you might get air-conditioning, nicer furniture, and really clean bathrooms in the fancier spots.

Admission: The teachers at our college are really supportive and smart. They always help us with our studies. We don't have exams every semester, just once a year. The exams are tough, but we try our best. You need to get at least 50% to pass.

Placement: After finishing high school, about 75% of us science students can get into the B.Tech food technology course. The highest salary you can get is around 4.5 LPA. Some big companies like Britannia, Bengal Becarage, Pepsico, Nestled, and Ganesh come to hire students from our course.

Campus: The campus has lots of stuff like labs, a library, Wi-Fi, and food all day. They've got a girls' hostel with a warden and a canteen. You can grab food anytime. They also have medical facilities. And there's a playground in the middle of the campus.
