Admission: The teachers here are really good at what they do and they always help us out. They cover all the important stuff we need to know for the course. The syllabus is spot on and gets us ready for the real world. Each semester, we have around 3 tests for theory and 1 viva for practical subjects. The exams are just right, not too tough or too easy. You need to get at least 40% to pass.

Placement: I was happy to see that most students in our course got jobs after graduation - around 90%! The average salary offered was 4 LPA, with the highest being 33 LPA. Capsitech and Accenture are the top companies that hire from our college. Last year, all students got internships, which is awesome. The most popular job role is cyber security analyst.

Campus: The college facilities are top-notch and the infrastructure is really well-planned. Each department has its own lab, and the classes are all decked out with the newest tech stuff. The hostel rooms have 3 beds, and it's super affordable. Plus, the food at the mess is cheap and pretty good quality too.

Admission: The teachers are really helpful here. They assign us a mentor every year who is always there for us. If we have any issues, we can talk to them, and they'll support us. Our teachers are well-qualified; some even have their work published in IITs' books. But honestly, the teaching could be better. It takes a lot of effort to grasp the concepts taught by teachers on your own.

Placement: The college I go to is a tier 3 college, so the job placements are just okay. For Computer Science students, the average salary this year was around 67 LPA. We've had companies like IBM, Accenture, Infosys visit for placements. They're still finalizing placements, so we don't know who got the highest salary yet.

Campus: I'm in CSE-AIML. We've got a cool block just for us with a computer lab that has super-fast internet. The staff here are really helpful, which is awesome. When it comes to hostels, we've got a total of 5 4 inside the campus and 1 outside. But here's the thing: only first-year students can stay in the hostel now. Second-year students have to find somewhere else to live, which kinda sucks because hostel life is a big part of the whole engineering experience.

Admission: The teachers here are really nice and always ready to lend a hand, but sometimes they can be a bit strict. The atmosphere is generally good, but dealing with older and younger students can be a bit tricky. When it comes to exams, it can be tough, but cheating is not easy during the semester. If you put in some effort and study 2-3 weeks before the exams, getting a good grade like an SGPA of 8.5 or higher is doable. We have midterms, called CTs, and we usually have at least two of them.

Placement: Almost everyone got a job after graduation, with the highest salary in Chemical being 27 LPA and an average of 4 LPA. Some students are coming back from TCS, but placements might change due to the recession. Don't worry though, internships are expected for all. The college made some new rules like mandatory industrial visits and more reports starting in the 2nd year.

Campus: The Wi-Fi works well at first, and the place is kept clean with good facilities. But there aren't any floor signs, and the food quality drops after a while. Hostel curfew starts at 7:30 PM but might get extended to 8:30-9:00 PM later on (like towards the end of the 1st year). There are around three to four hostels for freshmen. If you get to choose, go for Ranichak Boys Hostel or P3; P2 is okay, but stay away from P5it's the worst one.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and really know their stuff. They teach well and the course content is practical for getting a job. Exams aren't too tough, and most students pass with a 45% success rate.

Placement: Almost everyone got a job last year, which is awesome! The pay ranges from 3 to 9 LPA, with companies like Adani, Emami, and Nestled hiring us. A lot of us also landed internships at food companies. And the course sets us up for roles like food scientist, inspector, and engineer. It's pretty cool!

Campus: The Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library are great here. The hostel facilities are top-notch, with good food and even 2 ambulances on standby. Plus, there are sports and games available. The hostel food is delicious and budget-friendly.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful. They explain things well, so everyone can follow along easily. The semester exams are a bit challenging, with mostly moderate questions and some tough ones. This course prepares us well for the industry.

Placement: So, in my batch, around 70% of us got placed in companies like Accenture, PWC, Capsitech, and Capgemini. The highest salary was between 6 to 7 LPA, and the average was around 4 to 5 LPA. For internships, 87% of students in the next batch got one. They were offered roles like machine learning engineer, system engineer, and software development engineer.

Campus: The labs here are awesome! So many books on AIML. Hostel facilities are top-notch. Food is okay, but it's different in each hostel. The sports scene is great. Wi-Fi could be better. Medical help is good. Lots of games to play, both inside and outside.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and they teach us well. They have Ph.D. and M.Tech degrees. Sometimes the classes can be a bit boring because they're so good at teaching. This course offers good opportunities in both core and tech fields. If you study regularly, it's not too hard to do well. The exams are not too difficult to pass, with a pass percentage of around 75%. The faculty members are strict about education but also really supportive and caring towards students.

Placement: Our batch has around 72 students this year, a bit more than the 70 students three years ago. The placement scene for our department is pretty awesome 82% of us land jobs! This year, in 2025, our placement record is super impressive. The highest package offered is 12 LPA at HUL, while the average salary is 5 LPA. Companies like Hindustan Unilever, Johnson Controls, Haldia Petrochemical, and Indorama Dhunseri are the top recruiters. Many of us also snagged internships in places like Delhi, Bangalore, and Haldia. About 75% of us got internships. The main roles offered are at the International Society of Automation.

Campus: The library and classrooms are nice. The exam rooms have at least 2 ACs and lots of fans. Our department has good Wi-Fi. Hostel rooms are comfy and have good airflow. The washrooms are clean. The food is just okay. There's a medical shop on campus. We have a big sports ground, a basketball court, and a gym.

Admission: The teachers in my course are really helpful. During the first year, we had some strange teaching experiences with the SASH department. The curriculum in the beginning doesn't really prepare us for the industry. The semester exams are okay, not too hard. But, there are some teachers who can be pretty mean to students, especially in the first year.

Placement: I heard that 90% of students at our college get jobs right after campus placements. The highest salary in 2024 was 33 LPA, and the average was around 7-8 LPA. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, and Accenture hire a lot of students. Some students even get paid internships. The most popular job role is cyber security consultant.

Campus: The department facilities are top-notch, better than any other department. The hostels are okay, but some seniors can be a bit annoying. The mess food is decent for the price. Sports facilities are not that great, and there's a shortage of medical help on campus.

Admission: The professors at my college are really smart. They mostly have Ph.Ds. I'm studying computer science and engineering. The exams in my major are pretty tough. You need a 6.5 CGPA to pass each semester. The college events are fun, but that's just my opinion.

Placement: Lots of students get jobs in big companies after college. The highest salary you can get here is 45 LPA, while the lowest is 4 LPA. On average, people get 6 LPA. Companies like IBM, TCS, and Accenture come for placements. There are also internships available. Some seniors are working at ISRO and DRDO.

Campus: The library at my college is huge and has lots of books. The teachers are really nice and use smart boards for classes. The hostels are great for both guys and girls. The first-year hostel is about 2 km away from campus. Plus, there are plenty of clubs and sports to get involved in.

Admission: The teachers at this college are super helpful and always ready to assist with any issues you might have. Each year, you'll be assigned 3 mentors who will guide you through everything. They explain things well, but you'll also need to work on developing your own skills.

Placement: The job placement fee is fair. IT jobs generally pay more than non-IT jobs, but you can still aim for an IT job no matter your major. Plus, having a good TOE score will always come in handy when looking for job opportunities. If you have a better choice in mind, go for it. Overall, this college is a good option to consider.

Campus: The college has great infrastructure. Most classes have AC, which is nice. The hostels are okay, with 3/2 sharing rooms. Each room has Wi-Fi and there's a mess attached. The food isn't the best, though. The labs are decent too. The college looks good overall.

Admission: In most branches, there are three batches with two mentors each to help students. The batch size is 70, which I think is a little too big. The faculty members are super nice and always willing to assist us. They even help with research if we ask. Exams are okay, and only a few students end up with backlogs, around 8-10.

Placement: The placement report for Haldia Institute of Technology in 2025 isn't out yet. But in 2024, the average package was 5 LPA, same as 2023. The top package in 2024 was 33 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Wipro, EY, Infosys, and Tata Steel have hired students from our college.

Campus: The hostel at this college is awesome! They have different types of rooms like 3 sharing or 5 sharing. The food is really good and healthy. Security is tight which is good. The hostels are big and all on campus. They have Wi-Fi and even a cooler. Plus, the canteen serves special food twice a week which is a nice bonus.
