Admission: In most branches, there are three batches with two mentors each to help students. The batch size is 70, which I think is a little too big. The faculty members are super nice and always willing to assist us. They even help with research if we ask. Exams are okay, and only a few students end up with backlogs, around 8-10.

Placement: The placement report for Haldia Institute of Technology in 2025 isn't out yet. But in 2024, the average package was 5 LPA, same as 2023. The top package in 2024 was 33 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Wipro, EY, Infosys, and Tata Steel have hired students from our college.

Campus: The hostel at this college is awesome! They have different types of rooms like 3 sharing or 5 sharing. The food is really good and healthy. Security is tight which is good. The hostels are big and all on campus. They have Wi-Fi and even a cooler. Plus, the canteen serves special food twice a week which is a nice bonus.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful. They explain things well, so everyone can follow along easily. The semester exams are a bit challenging, with mostly moderate questions and some tough ones. This course prepares us well for the industry.

Placement: So, in my batch, around 70% of us got placed in companies like Accenture, PWC, Capsitech, and Capgemini. The highest salary was between 6 to 7 LPA, and the average was around 4 to 5 LPA. For internships, 87% of students in the next batch got one. They were offered roles like machine learning engineer, system engineer, and software development engineer.

Campus: The labs here are awesome! So many books on AIML. Hostel facilities are top-notch. Food is okay, but it's different in each hostel. The sports scene is great. Wi-Fi could be better. Medical help is good. Lots of games to play, both inside and outside.

Admission: The teachers here are really nice and always ready to lend a hand, but sometimes they can be a bit strict. The atmosphere is generally good, but dealing with older and younger students can be a bit tricky. When it comes to exams, it can be tough, but cheating is not easy during the semester. If you put in some effort and study 2-3 weeks before the exams, getting a good grade like an SGPA of 8.5 or higher is doable. We have midterms, called CTs, and we usually have at least two of them.

Placement: Almost everyone got a job after graduation, with the highest salary in Chemical being 27 LPA and an average of 4 LPA. Some students are coming back from TCS, but placements might change due to the recession. Don't worry though, internships are expected for all. The college made some new rules like mandatory industrial visits and more reports starting in the 2nd year.

Campus: The Wi-Fi works well at first, and the place is kept clean with good facilities. But there aren't any floor signs, and the food quality drops after a while. Hostel curfew starts at 7:30 PM but might get extended to 8:30-9:00 PM later on (like towards the end of the 1st year). There are around three to four hostels for freshmen. If you get to choose, go for Ranichak Boys Hostel or P3; P2 is okay, but stay away from P5it's the worst one.

Admission: The teachers at my college are awesome. They're really helpful and easy to talk to. They make our exams, so we study what they teach us. It makes getting good grades pretty easy, and keeping a good CGPA is not too hard.

Placement: I'm really impressed with how many students get jobs after graduating from our college. In my department, about 85% of students get placed. Last year, someone from our department even got a job with a 32 LPA package! On average, most students get offers between 6 to 7 LPA. Big companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and Haldia Chemical hire students from our college. We also have good internships with companies like PwC and Accenture. Students usually get roles like software developers, business analysts, or consultants.

Campus: Our college in Kolkata is super old and has a huge campus in West Bengal. The buildings are nice, and we've got lots of cool stuff like two playgrounds, a basketball court, a football field, and more. There are also over 40 clubs for gaming, dancing, music, and other fun stuff. The food is decent, I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5. Not amazing, but not terrible either.

Admission: The teachers here are really good at what they do and they always help us out. They cover all the important stuff we need to know for the course. The syllabus is spot on and gets us ready for the real world. Each semester, we have around 3 tests for theory and 1 viva for practical subjects. The exams are just right, not too tough or too easy. You need to get at least 40% to pass.

Placement: I was happy to see that most students in our course got jobs after graduation - around 90%! The average salary offered was 4 LPA, with the highest being 33 LPA. Capsitech and Accenture are the top companies that hire from our college. Last year, all students got internships, which is awesome. The most popular job role is cyber security analyst.

Campus: The college facilities are top-notch and the infrastructure is really well-planned. Each department has its own lab, and the classes are all decked out with the newest tech stuff. The hostel rooms have 3 beds, and it's super affordable. Plus, the food at the mess is cheap and pretty good quality too.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and they teach us well. They have Ph.D. and M.Tech degrees. Sometimes the classes can be a bit boring because they're so good at teaching. This course offers good opportunities in both core and tech fields. If you study regularly, it's not too hard to do well. The exams are not too difficult to pass, with a pass percentage of around 75%. The faculty members are strict about education but also really supportive and caring towards students.

Placement: Our batch has around 72 students this year, a bit more than the 70 students three years ago. The placement scene for our department is pretty awesome 82% of us land jobs! This year, in 2025, our placement record is super impressive. The highest package offered is 12 LPA at HUL, while the average salary is 5 LPA. Companies like Hindustan Unilever, Johnson Controls, Haldia Petrochemical, and Indorama Dhunseri are the top recruiters. Many of us also snagged internships in places like Delhi, Bangalore, and Haldia. About 75% of us got internships. The main roles offered are at the International Society of Automation.

Campus: The library and classrooms are nice. The exam rooms have at least 2 ACs and lots of fans. Our department has good Wi-Fi. Hostel rooms are comfy and have good airflow. The washrooms are clean. The food is just okay. There's a medical shop on campus. We have a big sports ground, a basketball court, and a gym.

Admission: The professors at my college are really smart. They mostly have Ph.Ds. I'm studying computer science and engineering. The exams in my major are pretty tough. You need a 6.5 CGPA to pass each semester. The college events are fun, but that's just my opinion.

Placement: Lots of students get jobs in big companies after college. The highest salary you can get here is 45 LPA, while the lowest is 4 LPA. On average, people get 6 LPA. Companies like IBM, TCS, and Accenture come for placements. There are also internships available. Some seniors are working at ISRO and DRDO.

Campus: The library at my college is huge and has lots of books. The teachers are really nice and use smart boards for classes. The hostels are great for both guys and girls. The first-year hostel is about 2 km away from campus. Plus, there are plenty of clubs and sports to get involved in.

Admission: The teachers at this college are super helpful and always ready to assist with any issues you might have. Each year, you'll be assigned 3 mentors who will guide you through everything. They explain things well, but you'll also need to work on developing your own skills.

Placement: The job placement fee is fair. IT jobs generally pay more than non-IT jobs, but you can still aim for an IT job no matter your major. Plus, having a good TOE score will always come in handy when looking for job opportunities. If you have a better choice in mind, go for it. Overall, this college is a good option to consider.

Campus: The college has great infrastructure. Most classes have AC, which is nice. The hostels are okay, with 3/2 sharing rooms. Each room has Wi-Fi and there's a mess attached. The food isn't the best, though. The labs are decent too. The college looks good overall.

Admission: The teachers here are really good at what they do. They give great advice and help you learn a lot. I recommend this college. The course prepares you for the real world. The skills you pick up can be used on industry trips. The exams can be tough, but they're fair.

Placement: Lots of IT companies come here for placements. It's a top engineering college in West Bengal. Most students get internships and jobs through the IT branch. The highest salary is around 36 LPA, and the average is 5-6 LPA. Great place for a future in tech!

Campus: There are about 5 or 6 hostels for both girls and boys. The Wi-Fi and water supply are great, and there's a backup generator for electricity. Living here is peaceful. The food in the mess hall is healthy and delicious. The hostel facilities are good, and each hostel has a security guard. There are also plenty of sports available for students.

Admission: The teachers are pretty good here. But the courses are kinda outdated. In the first year, they make us study bio, chem, and physics, which feels like a waste since I'm studying CSE. It would be way better to start with programming, data structures, and computer basics right away. A more up-to-date curriculum would really help us learn better and get ready for the job market.

Placement: In my college, most students in the final year get placed, around 90%. They usually get jobs with an average pay of 4.5 LPA, which is pretty good. I'm in the computer science branch, and out of 60 final year students, 56 already have jobs in good companies. Most jobs are in IT, software, and data roles. Even though the average pay is okay, some students do get higher salaries, like above 8 LPA, which is cool.

Campus: The library and lab at the college are okay for studying. The library has the books we need, but it could use more new stuff, like AI, machine learning, and cloud computing materials. The computer labs work fine for coding, but they need better systems and more access during busy times. Upgrading them would make learning easier and more enjoyable.
