Admission: The staff at HIET are really smart and know their stuff. They teach really well and the labs in every department give a real industry vibe. The teachers are friendly, helpful, and know their stuff.
Placement: Lots of companies come to Hindustan Institute of Engineering Technology for placements every year. The college is great for getting job opportunities. The training here is top-notch, and the environment is perfect for learning. The teachers are really good at explaining different subjects.
Campus: The college is situated on the Oragadam-Walajabad main road, close to Padappai. It's a really nice place that you won't find in the busy city of Chennai. The campus has a lot of greenery, creating a natural atmosphere. They have a library and classrooms with a good vibe. However, I personally didn't like the canteen. The canteen needs better maintenance.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really experienced. They don't just teach the stuff from the books, but also teach us about manners, discipline, culture, and modern ways. They use digital tools, do seminars, have group discussions, and give exams. They may not have the highest degrees, but they know how to teach well. Each teacher has their own unique way of making things easy to understand.
Placement: For this course, most colleges don't offer placements because it relies on the aviation industry's situation. However, a few seniors of mine landed jobs in Air India, Air Works, and Jet Airways.
Campus: The college doesn't have Wi-Fi, a bank, or an ATM nearby since it's around 1.5 km from the main road. The canteen is improving slowly, offering basic food but no pizzas or burgers. The library is great with lots of titles, but it's not digital. The labs here are better than any other college I've seen. They have cool aircraft like Dornier 228, Cessna 152, Robinson R22 Helicopter, and more. The hostel situation is a bit tricky, but living in a clean, quiet village is good for focusing on tough courses.

Admission: The teachers at our college are really knowledgeable and good at teaching. They're well-qualified, but sometimes they can be a bit lazy. When they're more into it, they help us get ready for the industry. The exams are pretty tough, though.
Placement: Every year, a few students find jobs through campus placements. Companies like Air India, Blue Dart, Boeing, and Airbus come to hire students. Unfortunately, our college doesn't offer internships.
Campus: The college doesn't have good infrastructure and the facilities are poor. There's no Wi-Fi, and the classrooms are just okay. The hostel rooms are average and the food isn't very clean. There aren't any shops close to the college, and there's no mess available. We only have a games period once a week.

Admission: The teachers at the college are really good. They used to work in the Airforce before teaching here. They know their stuff and have lots of experience. Every year, we go on trips to places like Indianoil aviation and Orient flight school in Mysore to see how things work in real life.
Placement: My college helped my senior batch mates get jobs in airlines like SpiceJet, Air Asia, Indigo, Bluedart, Lufthansa, Air India, Go Air. The highest salary offered was around 2-4 LPA. The college management supported us in finding jobs in top companies.
Campus: My college is pretty cool. We've got classrooms, a library, an ambulance on campus, and a huge playground. The college organizes games and events every year. Our lab is top-notch and the canteen serves tasty, but no non-veg food. It's a good place to study and hang out.

Admission: The faculty here really care about our future. They help us with our career goals, dress code, and career programs. When we visit companies, it's super helpful. Plus, they're strict about no ragging on campus. The teachers in every department are eager to teach and clear our doubts. They'll even look up stuff they don't know to help us learn.
Placement: My senior batch was the first one at this college. Most of our seniors got placed in new companies and hardware firms. Some went for further studies, while a few started their own businesses in the hardware industry. After our batch, the placement team put in a lot of effort and recommended many of us for off-campus interviews. They couldn't arrange interviews on-campus because only a few students passed all their exams in our batch.
Campus: The library here is great - lots of space to study with AC, plus we can use the Internet. Just need permission first. We play sports every evening and have indoor games too. The canteen's run by a third party and they're really nice. They'll make special food if you ask. The hostel's on campus, which is awesome. Only downside is it's far from Padapai. But overall, it's a cool college.

Admission: The teachers here are really smart and know their stuff. Exams aren't too stressful, but you need to get at least 75% to pass. This course is more about building a strong foundation than preparing you for a job right away. The teachers are helpful and will make sure you understand everything.
Placement: Most students from our college end up getting jobs. The starting salary is around 10000-15000 from companies like IndiGo, Air India, GMR, etc. When you finish your training and pass all the exams, you'll start as a trainee technician at an airline or MRO. After some more training, you'll become an A.M.E.
Campus: The hostel and canteen food aren't great. There's no sports or Wi-Fi. But the hangar, labs, and library are clean and nice. The college is in a village, so the mess food isn't good. The hostel isn't well-kept, and the fees are too high.

Admission: The teachers here are really nice and supportive. They're all ex-airforce, so they know their stuff. The course has 10 papers overseen by DGCA (Director General of Civil Aviation) and lasts for 5 semesters, which is around 2.5 years.
Placement: At this college, they offer three courses: Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Mechanical), Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Avionics), and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Helicopter). These courses lead to high-paying jobs, but the pass rates are lower here than at other schools. Many companies, like Indigo and Blue D-ART Aviation, are looking to hire graduates from here.
Campus: The college is pretty old, like over 50 years old. It only has two floors - ground and first. The library has lots of aviation books. The hostel is decent, but the food there is terrible.
