IBI has established cutoff scores for the PGDM program for the year 2023 via two major entrance tests, CAT (Common Admission Test) and XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test). These cutoff scores are critical for students to determine their prospects of admission to IBI. The specifics of the cutoff scores for both tests are provided below.

CAT Cutoff 2023 for IBI.

The CAT test is one of the most widely used management admission exams in India. Meeting the CAT cutoff is critical for individuals wishing to enrol in IBI's PGDM program. In 2023, IBI's overall cutoff percentile for the general category will be 40. This means that candidates must score at least a 40 percentile on the CAT exam to be selected for future selection rounds.

IBI has set the overall XAT criterion for 2023 at the 50th percentile in the general category. This means that candidates must obtain at least 50% on the XAT exam to advance in the screening process.

Factors influencing the cutoff scores:

Several factors influence IBI's cutoff scores for entrance examinations such as the CAT and XAT. Some of the major factors are:

Number of Applicants: A higher number of applicants means more competition, which may result in a higher cutoff score.

Exam Difficulty: If the entrance exam is especially difficult in a given year, the cutoff scores may be modified.

The number of seats available in the PGDM program at IBI is an important factor in establishing the cutoff. Limited seats frequently result in higher cutoff scores.

prior Year's Cutoff: Institutes such as IBI often use the prior year's cutoff to determine the cutoff for the current year. This ensures consistency in the admissions process.

Reservation regulations: Reservation regulations for several groups, including SC, ST, OBC, and General, have an impact on the cutoff scores. Reserved categories normally have lower cutoffs than the general category.
