Admission: Entry into the institute after JoSAA felt streamlined, as instructions for online reporting and document verification were specific and easy to follow, queries about fee submission and final registration were answered promptly, and orientation details arrived well in advance.
Academic: What I like is that the college curriculum is quite good and the courses are purely branch-oriented here. They conduct exams very strictly, which is a good thing. We also have enough teachers, which helps us to develop our skills properly. Plus, college clubs organize many sessions to give us good knowledge about the technical world.
Placement: Our college sees good placements, and in the last 3-4 years, they have been amazing. Big companies like Microsoft and Atlassian come to our campus, along with around 250+ other companies visiting every year. About 70% of placements happen on campus, but some students choose to go for off-campus options, it's totally their personal choice.
Campus: Our college has good infrastructure, but one small problem is that it doesn't have its own campus. Students do get hostels, but these are not on the campus itself. Also, buses are there for travelling. We are hoping that the college will soon make its own campus and provide hostels right there for students in the next few years.

Admission: Admission at IIIT began with a clear online registration, the merit list was released on time, counselling sessions were well organized, staff during document verification were cooperative and clarified every doubt, and the process continued efficiently through orientation with good support throughout.
Academic: The course curriculum here is not planned well, honestly. For a CSE student, it makes no sense to study subjects like Physics, Ethics, and Electrical Engineering because they are not useful at all. Also, the teaching quality is not good. Most faculty just come, show a PPT, read from it, and then go.
Placement: For placements in our college, a lot of students get really good jobs every year. Big companies like Accenture, Flipkart, and PayPal come to recruit from my course. The average salary package we get is 14 LPA, and the highest was 34.4 LPA. Most of us are hired for roles like software developer, software engineer, and other tech-related positions.
Campus: In this college, sadly, there is no real campus. Because of no campus, we dont have any sports facilities either. The classrooms are really bad, and it's frustrating that even with huge fees, there are no ACs. Plus, the fans dont even work properly. There's also no library in the college. The Wi-Fi connection is super weak here. And for food, the mess food is just okay, not great at all.

Admission: Experience of the IIIT admission process was smooth, with well managed counselling sessions, timely merit list updates, straightforward document verification and registration, supportive staff guidance, and a simple transition up to orientation.
Academic: At our institute, the coding culture is actually good. The curriculum is a bit tough compared to most private colleges. MANIT faculty is kind of good, but honestly, they don't give much attention to us IIIT students. Exams are never ending here, like mini-tests happen midway and then again at the end. So, you really have to study to be among the good students in college.
Placement: Honestly, the placements are not as great as everyone makes them sound. What's written on their website about placements isn't really true. Most of the good job offers come from off-campus, not from within the college. The on-campus placements are just okay, nothing amazing, even with the help of internships and MANIT acting as a mentor institute.
Campus: My take on MANIT is that the infrastructure is really very bad. The campus given by MANIT feels poor, and the hostels are quite far from the college building. It honestly gives off a school-like vibe because of this. Plus, many basic college facilities are just not there. Imagine, they dont even provide ACs in classrooms, but still charge students a lot of money. This whole situation is actually horrible.

Admission: Transition through admission here was mostly digital and efficient, the online application portal was user friendly, seat allotment came quickly, document verification felt slightly rushed, but registration afterwards was smooth and the overall flow remained clear.
Academic: At this college, you mainly learn things by doing them yourself, teachers don't really guide you much. Good thing is, the syllabus is very up-to-date since the college is new. We have exams three times a semester, and they are pretty easy, anyone can pass without much trouble. Plus, our seniors are really nice and always ready to help.
Placement: From my experience at IIIT Bhopal, placements here are quite good. Many big companies, like Google and Amazon, visit our campus for recruitment. This year, Flipkart gave the highest offer, which was 35 LPA. If we talk about the past, 99 percent of students got placed in 2023, and the average salary was 23 LPA. For 2024, 75 percent of students found jobs, with an average package of 16 LPA.
Campus: In IIIT Bhopal, we don't have our own campus right now. We are currently operating from the NIT Bhopal campus, which is super huge, like 600 acres. While the college provides hostel facilities, they are not in good condition, and honestly, the food served there is just trash. This is why many of us students prefer to stay in private PGs nearby.

Admission: Onboarding at IIIT progressed smoothly, as JoSAA counselling and online registration were straightforward, document verification had no major issues, staff support was consistent, and communication about provisional admission and orientation was clear.
Academic: Exams at our college are fair, but you definitely need to put in regular effort to do well. Most of the students clear them easily, which means the academic performance is good. Our teachers are very knowledgeable and supportive, making the learning part positive for everyone. Plus, the syllabus is super relevant and industry-focused, preparing us for future tech challenges.
Placement: Placements for our 2024 batch are still happening, but the results so far are looking pretty good. Right now, the highest salary package offered is 34.4 LPA, and the average package is around 12.33 LPA. Out of 135 students who were looking for jobs, 81 have already gotten placed. This means our placement rate is currently at 60%, and we are expecting it to go up more as the placement season is still on.
Campus: Our college, IIIT Bhopal, has really modern facilities that are useful for both our studies and personal needs. The infrastructure here is built to give a good environment for learning and growing. Hostel life is quite comfortable, and the food quality is acceptable, you know, it's okay. Plus, they really focus on sports and health too, so it's a complete experience overall.

Admission: Route into IIIT through online registration felt straightforward, document verification instructions were clear, counselling schedules were timely, staff assisted well during physical submission, and communication stayed consistent.
Academic: The course here is pretty updated, which is good. Honestly, the semester exams are much easier than JEE was. Almost everyone passes these exams without failing, you just need to put in about a week of study before they happen. Now, about the teachers, they are just okay, not super good. Many of them actually did their studies at MANIT Bhopal.
Placement: Our college placements are quite good, with an average package of around 24 lakhs. In 2023, about 97 percent of students got placed, which is great. Some of our teachers even told us that the highest package for 2024 went up to 85 lakh. Top companies like Microsoft and ServiceNow often recruit from here. Plus, there is a really strong coding culture that helps students a lot.
Campus: Our college does have hostel facilities, but honestly, they're not that great because they are quite far from the campus. For boys, there are three options: RGPV, NITTTR, and BHEL. Girls get the Satya Sai college hostel. Just know that these hostels are only for first-year students. Once you're in your second year, you'll need to figure out your own living arrangements, like renting a flat or staying in a PG.

Admission: Admission at IIIT Bhopal progressed smoothly, JoSAA counselling and merit list declaration were clear, document verification was quick with helpful staff, registration was efficient, and orientation prepared us well.
Academic: The course curriculum at our college is really good and super updated. I like that they don't add useless subjects in our syllabus, which is a big plus for us. Our teachers are very qualified, and some really try hard to explain things properly in class. But sometimes, students don't pay attention and then complain that the faculty isn't good. If you study what's taught in class, the exams are pretty easy to clear.
Placement: Talking about the 2023 placements, the CSE branch did really well, with 100% of students getting placed. The highest salary offered was 60 LPA, and the average package came out to be around 22 LPA. Big companies like Amazon, Cred, and LinkedIn were some of the top recruiters visiting our college. Not just placements, many students also got useful internships. Our college's training and placement cell is super helpful for all this.
Campus: For IIIT Bhopal, we don't have our own campus, which is a bit different. We are basically in a small building that's inside NIT Bhopal, people call it NTB. Good thing is, we have our own labs and all the study equipment needed right there. But for the library, we share it with NIT. Wi-Fi is available in our classes, that's helpful. About the hostels, they are just okay, not super good but not too bad either. For boys, hostels are given in places like RGPV, BHEL, and NITTR. Girls get their hostel at Sri Satya Sai. One big problem though, the food is really bad.

Admission: Counselling after the merit list release was well managed, online registration was quick, schedules were clear, document verification had no issues, staff support remained strong, and orientation proved useful for onboarding.
Academic: The course here is very relevant, and it really gets you ready for the industry. Our professors are super helpful and well qualified; every single one has a Ph.D. in their subject. This makes the teaching quality really good. Coming to exams, semester exams are easy, and it's quite simple to score good marks. Your CGPA is relative, though.
Placement: Talking about placements, they are really excellent at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Bhopal. Almost 98% of students manage to get placed here. The highest salary someone got was 38 lakhs per year, which is great. On average, students got a package of 18 lakhs per annum, and the median package stood at 15 lakhs per annum. Because the placements are so good, I would definitely recommend joining this college.
Campus: Okay, so for the hostel situation, my hostel is actually in RGPV, which is around 15 km away from IIIT Bhopal. Our college, though, is located inside the MANIT Bhopal campus. My hostel is great, even if the food is just average and only vegetarian. Sports facilities there are quite good. When it comes to our college labs, they are really top-notch. The Wi-Fi speed, however, is a bit slow, and the library is a definite problem for us.

Admission: Start of admission at IIIT Bhopal felt organised, JoSAA counselling to final verification was clearly communicated, staff helped with queries, seat confirmation after the merit list brought relief, and steps were well defined.
Academic: What I really like here is the amazing coding culture, it's super good. The teachers are also very helpful, kind, and have a good nature, which is a big plus. When it comes to exams, the difficulty is moderate, so it's not too hard to handle. Placements are also good at this college. Overall, this is a decent college you can pick, but just be ready for the curriculum because it can be a bit tough.
Placement: For placements, our college is pretty good. All the top companies keep visiting us for jobs every year. Like this year, 2024, Atlassian came and offered a huge 85 LPA package to students. They even visited our campus back in 2022. Coming to teachers, many of them are from MANIT Bhopal, and some have even taught in foreign universities. Each branch here has about 130 to 160 students on average.
Campus: The hostel situation here is a bit tricky because our college actually doesn't have its own campus. For boys, there are three hostels like RGPV, BHEL, and NITTR in Bhopal, and girls stay in a separate government girls' hostel. But seriously, the mess food is the worst, even worse than you can imagine. And the hygiene? It's just average, not great. Plus, all these hostels are around 15 kilometers away from the college.

Admission: Reporting into IIIT felt smooth overall, JoSAA counselling and seat allotment were transparent, online document verification reduced effort, communication about fees and registration was clear, and orientation was well planned.
Academic: The course here is really good and makes us ready for jobs, that's what I think. For exams, they are not too hard to pass, and almost 97% of students clear them easily. Our teachers are mostly helpful, qualified, and know everything properly. Teaching quality is good, though a very small number of teachers are just okay.
Placement: Talking about placements, around 60% of students from our batch got placed in 2024. To be honest, the overall placement stats aren't that good this year, mostly because of the recession. Big companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Cisco, Zenar, Synopsys, and Wipro visited our campus. Students mostly got roles like data scientist, data analyst, and data mining engineer. The salary packages were like, the lowest was 64 LPA, the average was 12 LPA, and the highest package went up to 14.4 LPA. About internships, we don't have much idea about their stats.
Campus: From my experience, our college still doesn't have a permanent campus, which is a bit of a bummer. We do have Wi-Fi, but it only works in some specific classrooms, not everywhere. The classrooms themselves are pretty good though, very spacious for students. A big downside is that the library is not open for students yet. And talking about hostel life, the mess food is really not great, everything tastes the same every day. Good thing is, we have medical facilities right there in the hostel. But for sports and games, we actually had to use our own money to get things organized.
