Admission: IIIT Guwahati is lacking in the teaching department. The professors are super smart with Ph.D. degrees, but most of them can't teach well. You'll have to rely on self-study more than on your professors here.

Placement: Most students get jobs after college, but the numbers change. Someone even got a huge 1 crore package! Big companies like Microsoft and Amazon hire here. About half the students do internships too.

Campus: The college's infrastructure is just okay, not great. It's not what you'd expect from a top college. But if you're here for placements, it's worth it. Don't expect much from extracurricular activities though.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They really know their stuff and explain things in a way that's easy to get. That's why we all feel ready for the job market. The exams are tough, but they keep us on our toes by mixing up the pass rates. It's a real challenge, but worth it in the end!

Placement: Most students in my course got placed, around 91%. The highest salary was 45 lpa, and the lowest was 11 lpa. About 80% of students landed internships. The college has top companies like Amazon, Google, and Flipkart for placements. That's why I chose to study here.

Campus: The college has everything you need, like 24/7 Wi-Fi and 18 hours of library access. There's a canteen in the academic block and even a night canteen. They mostly serve North Indian food, with chicken and fish twice a week. And for vegetarians, they have paneer and potatoes.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff. They help us understand everything we need to know for the IT industry. The curriculum is up-to-date and practical. It's great for preparing us to work in big companies. I've learned a lot from their classes, and they're always there to support us.

Placement: Most students got placed, around 95%. Big companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Service Now, Media Tech, and Games Craft hire from here. The highest salary is 120 lakh per year. On average, people get 17 lakh per year. The middle salary is around 16 lakh per year. 60-70% of students do internships with pay. Jobs mostly are for web developers and data analysts.

Campus: The academic building is in great shape. The library is a nice place to study. The WiFi works well. The dorm rooms are shared by two people. Some rooms have private bathrooms, while others have shared ones. The food in the mess is okay, with dishes from both South and North India. You can grab snacks at the canteen. There are lots of sports options, both indoors and outdoors.

Admission: The teachers here are really experienced and got their Ph.D. from top Indian colleges like IIT and NIT. They're super friendly and always ready to help with any questions. The course is spot-on and sets you up for a great job. The exams are tough, but if you work hard, you can get a high CGPA.

Placement: The college has a cool placement cell that hooks us up with jobs. Almost all students (97%) get placed, and some snag jobs with a fat paycheck of 120 LPA. On average, we're looking at 17 LPA. Big names like Amazon, TCS, Flipkart, and Gamescraft come to hire us.

Campus: Our campus is huge with lots of space! We've got the academic block, two boys hostels, one for girls, a faculty block, a student activity place, and even a lake. Our campus has awesome stuff like super-fast Wi-Fi, a big library with tons of books, and more. There's always an ambulance ready with medical stuff in case we need it. And the student activity center is cool it's got a gym, badminton court, and table tennis for us to play. It's pretty sweet!

Admission: The teachers really know their stuff and teach well. The exams can be tough, even harder than IIT exams sometimes, but if you work hard, you can handle it. They mainly focus on academics, not much help with other stuff. Students are skilled for the industry, but sometimes struggle to get placed due to results not meeting the criteria.

Placement: The number of students getting placed here has gone down lately. I picked this college mainly for its good placement record, but now it's not so great. I'm not sure how other colleges are doing with placements. Heard about a senior scoring a job at JP Morgan and Case, though.

Campus: I'm in my second year and the course facilities are pretty good. The Wi-Fi in the academic building works fast most of the time, but sometimes it needs fixing. The labs are kept well, but the computers are a bit slow (you gotta bring your laptop from second year onwards). The hostel rooms are shared with bunk beds and a private bathroom. The rooms are a bit small, but it's okay. They've also set up a new student activity center with a gym and badminton court for sports.

Admission: The teachers here are really good. Almost all of them got their Ph.D. from IITs. They're super helpful too. The course content is spot on and gets us ready for the industry. They keep updating the syllabus as needed, which is great.

Placement: In my course, most students are around 92.5%. This year, the top package offered is 1.2 crore, while the average is 17 Lacs. The main companies hiring are tekion, gameskraft, amazon, Juspay, and Jio. And the popular roles are SDE roles.

Campus: The college has Wi-Fi in the Academic block. CSE and ECE students have separate labs. The library has enough books for our courses. The hostel rooms are nice and shared by two students each. The food in the mess is clean and delicious. Plus, there are canteens in the academic block and hostel for snacks.

Admission: I really like how the teachers here are super supportive and helpful. They make learning fun and easy. The classes are great and match up well with what we need to learn. Exams can be tough, but hanging out with friends helps me relax. Grading is fair, and they don't have a set pass mark, which is cool.

Placement: Most students get placed in companies like Tekion Corp, Alteryx, Nvidia, MoveInSync, Tesco, Samsung, ZScaler, and more. Some also land internships at Samsung, Tekion Corp, Alteryx, HugoSave, etc. They mainly offer roles like Software Developer and Software Engineer. The top package is around 60 Lacs (Off Campus) and 40 Lacs (On Campus). The lowest offer is 7 Lacs, with an average of 18 Lacs and a median of 15 Lacs.

Campus: The campus looks good, but they gotta work on the quality. The food at the mess is terrible, it's a big problem. No medical help around, super inconvenient. But hey, the sports stuff is alright and does the job.

Admission: The teachers here are top-notch. They got their PhDs from big schools like IIT and Heidelberg University. They really know their stuff and teach in a way that makes sense. The courses cover stuff that's actually useful in the real world. Exams can be easy or medium, but most people do fine.

Placement: Most students got jobs after graduating, around 60% from ECE. They got good pay too. The highest package was 80 LPA. On average, ECE students make 12-13 LPA. Companies like Nvidia, EDGE, and Gamecroft hire a lot from our college. More than half of us got internships at big names like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and JP Morgan. Popular job titles include machine learning engineer, R&D engineer, and software analyst.

Campus: The campus has everything you need. The hostel rooms are pretty good, with a bathroom, desk, chair, and cupboard for two people. The library has books and journals, and the labs are well-equipped. Wi-Fi works everywhere. Classrooms have whiteboards and projectors for interactive learning. You can eat at the hostel mess. There's a medical shop nearby and an ambulance on call 24/7. You can play indoor and outdoor games like chess, table tennis, cricket, football, and carrom. And there's a gym with equipment too.

Admission: The professors here are really good at what they do. They always help us out when we need it. Our college is big on students talking to their teachers. The way they teach is awesome. What's cool is they change the course every year to fit us better. It gets us set for the real world. Exams can be tough, but if you study for just an hour every day, you can totally get a high CGPA. They like to grade us against each other, but it's all good.

Placement: The placements here are really good. Every year, they keep getting better. For Computer Science (CSE), over 90% of students get placed, and for Electronics (ECE), it's around 80-90%. The highest salary offered for CSE is 120 LPA, which is pretty awesome. The average salary is over 16 LPA, but for CSE students, it's even higher at 18 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Gameskraft, and Atlassian come for placements, which is cool.

Campus: The library is small, but we can use CSE labs for studying. The labs have really good facilities. The classrooms are great, and the Wi-Fi works well. The whole academic block has top-notch facilities and central air-conditioning. Hostel rooms are better than some IIT hostels, but the mess food isn't that good. Medical facilities are not very strong. They're working on upgrading the sports facilities in the future.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful. They mostly have Ph.D.s from IITs or foreign universities, which is cool. But some teachers are better at teaching than others. The stuff we learn is mostly useful, but some subjects might be outdated. To get ready for the industry, you gotta focus on DSA, Web dev, and AI/ML in your own way.

Placement: The job placements are going pretty well right now. About 70% of students in CSE and ECE have already got jobs through on-campus and off-campus interviews. The top companies hiring students are CGI with 22 placements and Deloitte with 15. Other companies like Samsung, Natwest, and Accenture are also hiring from our campus. Some lucky ones even got jobs at big companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Google outside of campus.

Campus: The campus buildings need some work. There's an old 7-floor boys' hostel and a newer one next to it with a slanted roof. Food is okay. There's a canteen by the classes, plus a late-night Nescafe and mess in the hostel. Medical help is lacking, but there's medicine in the hostel and an ambulance on standby.
