Admission: My admission at IIITG was efficient and well-structured. Online registration and fee payment were straightforward, instructions for counselling and document verification were clear, and staff addressed doubts promptly. From merit list to final joining, everything was handled smoothly.

Academic: The course here is really good and makes sure you get good placements. Our teachers are also very experienced, with many doing their Ph.D. from top colleges like IIT and NIT in India. They are friendly too, so it's easy to ask questions and clear doubts. Semester exams are quite tough to score a 9+ CGPA, but if you study hard, you can definitely achieve it.

Placement: College placements are really good. We have a special placement cell that helps us a lot to get jobs. Around 97% of students get placed every year. The highest salary package someone got was 120 LPA, and the average package is around 17 LPA. Big companies like Amazon, TCS, Filpkart, and Games craft come here to hire students.

Campus: Our college campus is pretty big, spread across 67 acres. It has all the main parts like an academic block, two boys hostels, one girl hostel, and even a faculty block. There's also a student activity center and a nice lake. For facilities, the Wi-Fi is super fast, 1Gbps, and our library has a huge collection of books. The student activity center itself has a gym, a badminton court, and table tennis. Also, if there's any emergency, an ambulance with a medical kit is always available 24/7.

Admission: My IIITG admission process went very smoothly. After JoSAA counselling, I received my provisional admission letter quickly. On-campus document verification was organized, fee payment was hassle-free, and pre-joining communication set clear expectations before orientation.

Academic: In my college, the teachers are really helpful, super qualified, and know their stuff well. They explain things so simply that every student can understand, which is great for making us ready for the industry. But passing exams here is super tough, and the pass percentage keeps changing all the time so there's no fixed pass mark.

Placement: My college placements are awesome, that's actually the main reason I joined here. For my course, like 91% of students got placed, which is super good. The highest package someone got was 45 LPA and the lowest was 11 LPA. And guess what, 80% of students also landed internships. Lots of big companies like Amazon, Google, and Flipkart come to hire from here, so yeah, placement-wise it's a solid choice.

Campus: At our campus, facilities are quite good. We get 24-hour Wi-Fi and the library stays open for 18 hours, which is really helpful. We also have canteens, one in the academic block and a night canteen too. The food mostly served there is North Indian style. For non-veg, chicken and fish are available twice a week. Vegetarians can find paneer and potatoes.

Placement: For B.Tech placements at IIIT Guwahati in 2023, the numbers look great. The highest package went up to 120 LPA, and the average package was 15.5 LPA. Many companies came, making a total of 191 job offers. Around 89.19% of the B.Tech students from our batch got placed that year.

Campus: In my college, you will find the academic building is air-conditioned and stays open 24/7. Even the labs are kept open so students can study any time, and they are really well-equipped too. For books, our library has everything needed, and it's also very good. Plus, the college gives us 5G Wi-Fi and even a table connection for internet.

The average package was INR 17.2 LPA, with the highest touching INR 120 LPA, and the median package stood at INR 14.5 LPA.

Campus: From my experience here, the college Wi-Fi is good, like 30 Mbps speed. Our labs and library are kept very clean and well-maintained. Classrooms are also well-equipped, having everything a teacher might need. Hostel facilities are nice, with lifts and good buildings. For food, the mess and canteen give okay quality meals. A cool thing is they have their own ambulance if you need to go to the hospital, plus daily medicines are there. Sports grounds are still under construction but will be ready in a few months.

Campus: The college has really good facilities. Our hostel is great, and the labs are pretty decent too. We have three hostels for boys and one for girls.

Placement: In my course, there are around 70 students. When it's the fourth year, students really get into giving placement tests. They try to appear for almost all of them. Plus, they practice a lot on coding platforms like GeeksforGeeks, Codeforces, and Codechef to get ready.

Campus: It comes to campus facilities, there's a lot to improve. Many buildings are still under construction, so we don't have things like clubs or a gymkhana yet. For gym, students have to step out of the campus. Plus, there's no proper ground for games like football or basketball; only a cricket ground is available right now. Also, the roads inside the campus are full of big potholes and aren't well maintained at all.

Campus: Campus has Wi-Fi everywhere, which is super convenient. The classrooms are digital and nicely kept, and the labs have all the right equipment. In the library, you can find all your academic books and also other books you might like to read. The hostel rooms are well maintained; each one comes with a bed, a fan, and an attached washroom. The mess food quality is okay, and there are quite a few canteens across campus too. For any emergency, first-aid is readily available, and the institute even provides an ambulance.

Don't expect to rely a lot on the teachers here.

Campus: Honestly, if you are thinking about joining this college, just come for placements, seriously. The infrastructure here is pretty average, not really what you'd expect from a big, important institute like ours. For anything else, especially extracurricular activities, it's a strict no-go; you won't find much there.

Admission: Applying to IIITG mainly depended on my JEE Main score, and once results were out, the counselling process was clear. Each step from registration to receiving the final admission offer was properly outlined and easy to manage if followed carefully.

Academic: I picked the Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati for my Computer Science and Engineering course. My main reasons were the good academic stuff, the infrastructure here, and all the facilities. Also, I love cricket, and this college has really good sports chances for it, which was a big plus for me. To get admission, you need to score well in JEE Main and then go through the counselling process. For exams, we have two in each semester: one mid-semester exam and then one at the end of the semester. The way they have set up the academics is really structured to give us a feel for real-life challenges.

Placement: Placements at our college are getting super good these days. Even though COVID made them drop a little before, now they are just shooting up each year. Our placement cell really works hard for this and helps every single student. You know, many students even land jobs and internships in big companies like Google, Microsoft, Nvidia, and ISRO – just to name a few, there are lots more. The average salary package we get is also more than 17 LPA.

Campus: College campus at the Indian Institute of Information Technology is super big and the infrastructure here is also very good. We have a lot of classrooms, and all of them come with AC, which is nice. There is one main library available for students. We often have many cultural programs and enjoy them in our town hall. For food, we have two canteens right on campus, plus a few mini canteens just outside the college too.

Our teachers here are very helpful, and a lot of them have done their Ph.D. from IITs or even universities abroad. But yeah, the teaching quality can be different depending on who is taking the class.

Placement: The placement season is actually still happening, but so far, about 70% of students from both CSE and ECE branches have found jobs. This number includes placements from both campus drives and also off-campus efforts. For campus placements, CGI hired the most students with 22, and Deloitte was next, taking 15 students. We also had companies like Samsung, Natwest, Accenture, Tekion, and Alteryx come for recruitment. Plus, some of our seniors got awesome off-campus jobs at big product companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Google.

Campus: Honestly, the infrastructure at our college is not that good. There's an old boys hostel with seven floors and a small new one right beside it that got built a couple of years ago and has a slanting roof. The food quality in the mess is just average. We have a canteen near the academic block, and then there's also a night canteen, called Nescafe, and a night mess inside the hostel for students. Talking about medical facilities, it lacks a lot. While medicine is available in the hostel, there's no proper infirmary or a full-time doctor on campus. But one good thing is that an ambulance is always there on campus all the time.
