Admission: The teachers here are super smart and know their stuff. They've been around the block and the courses are set up to help us land good jobs. Even ECE students get to learn some CSE stuff for better job prospects. We get a good mix of hands-on learning and book smarts.
Placement: The placements at NIT Trichy have been pretty good so far. But since we didn't have our permanent campus yet, they weren't the best. Now that we have our permanent campus, I'm sure the placements will be even better. Plus, being in a great location should help too.
Campus: The campus is brand new, so everything is modern and we have all the facilities we need. The buildings are really well-made and safe. The hostels are high tech with sensors everywhere. They're clean and have good ventilation. The food in the mess is also good and they keep it clean.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and always ready to clear up any doubts. They know their stuff and teach really well. The course content is practical and gets us ready for the real world. The semester exams can be a bit tough, but it's all good.
Placement: Most students here get placed after college, with salaries ranging from 7lpa to 27lpa. The average is around 12lpa. Big companies like TCS, Amazon, and Infosys hire us. But finding internships is tough. We have to apply on websites like Internshala and Unstop. There aren't many options for internships here.
Campus: Our campus is pretty new, but our facilities are top-notch compared to other colleges. Wi-Fi is available everywhere, and the hostel rooms are way better than most. The classrooms are nice and quiet, but the library is on the smaller side. The only downside is that there are no washing machines in the hostels, so we have to do our own laundry. The food in the mess is okay, but right now it's all vegetarian maybe they'll add non-veg options later on. There's no canteen yet, but we do have medical facilities on campus.

Admission: The teachers are nice and know their stuff, but there are a lot of new teachers, so the teaching isn't great. The courses at ECE don't really prepare us for working in the industry. Exams are super easy, and almost everyone passes. We have classes from 9:20 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon, at least once a week. This schedule leaves us time to focus on other activities outside of class.
Placement: In my batch from 2019 to 2023, most students got jobs in ECE. The highest package was INR 15 LPA, the lowest was INR 7.87 LPA, and the average was INR 9.7 LPA. The median package for ECE was around INR 8 LPA. Celebal Technologies gave the highest package to an ECE student. You can find all this info on the IIIT Trichy website.
Campus: The labs have all the equipment we need, campus-wide Wi-Fi is a plus, and the hostels are kept clean. The mess food is good, and there's a team managing it. They serve non-veg three times a week (2 times eggs, 1 time chicken). The canteen is small but new, offering a limited menu for now. Doctors visit three times a week. We lack a proper ground since the campus is new. The library is there, but it needs more books and upkeep. Laundry is a hassle with just a few machines in each hostel. And we could definitely use more trees around campus.

Admission: The teachers at our college are pretty good, but they're not amazing because they just became permanent faculty this year. They teach well. The course curriculum is not great because it's outdated and needs to be updated.
Placement: Around 40% of students find jobs after they graduate. The job help isn't great for everyone. This year, the college had fewer job opportunities compared to last year. The job support could be better, but it's not easy to fix.
Campus: We've been at NIT Trichy since day one, but our college doesn't have a set campus. We've had a lot of tough times, like losing our hostels. The Wi-Fi and other facilities are pretty bad, but at least we have sports facilities.

Admission: The professors really know their stuff and are well-qualified. The course content is solid. They got rid of the useless classes and added the best ones. Grading can vary depending on the teacher. You gotta have at least 80% attendance.
Placement: Most students got placed, and some are going abroad for further studies. The highest package off-campus is around 27 lakhs per year, while on-campus it's 20 lakhs. Some students aiming for better options are choosing to study more. Finding internships on campus is a bit challenging.
Campus: The Wi-Fi on campus is really good, and each room has its own router. We also get 1gbps optical fiber LAN, which is awesome for fast internet. The labs are improving, and the classrooms are nice. The library is still under construction, though. The food in the mess is alright, just like in other hostels. They give medical insurance to all students, which is a great benefit. They're also working on building sports and games grounds, which should be ready in a month or two. Can't wait to use them!

Admission: The teachers here know their stuff and are friendly. They're easy to talk to, not scary. The teaching is okay, not amazing. But the course doesn't really get us ready for the job world. The exams aren't super hard, like JEE. You can actually pass by studying just a week before. The passing rate is around 33%, or it changes based on how well the top students do.
Placement: Most students in my course landed jobs after college around 82 percent, to be exact. The pay is pretty good too, with the highest salary at 20 LPA, the average at 10 LPA, and the lowest at 8 LPA. Big companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and others came for placements. And lots of us got internships at companies like ADP, Razor, and Elcot. It's a great opportunity to kickstart your career!
Campus: The Wi-Fi here is super fast, like 1GB per second fast. The labs have most of the equipment you need. The classrooms are cool because they're pretty new, only built two years ago. The library is okay, but they don't have all the books yet. There's a canteen on campus, which is handy. They have a nurse and a doctor for medical stuff. The ground isn't great, not very clean for playing. But the food in the mess is good, whether you like North or South stuff.

Admission: The teachers here are really great they know their stuff and are always ready to help. The way they teach is top-notch. The course content is spot on and gets us ready for job interviews. Exams can be a bit challenging, but if you pay attention in class and understand the material, you can do well. Everyone manages to pass their exams, which is a relief.
Placement: Most students get placed, around 80-90%. The highest salary is 27 LPA, lowest is 4 LPA, and average is 8 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Hexaware, Capgemini, and HP hire students. Internships are cool, with Rs.30,000 stipend from companies like TCS and HP.
Campus: The college has good facilities. There's free Wi-Fi, neat classrooms, labs, and a library with lots of books. The food from the mess and canteen is tasty. They also have medical facilities. Every year, they organize a sports day with other IIITs.

Admission: The teachers here are really smart and super helpful. They know a lot and teach really well. The courses are up-to-date with what's happening in the real world. The way they teach and the stuff we learn is top-notch. The curriculum is well-organized too.
Placement: Most students here land jobs, while others go for further studies. The highest salary offered was 12 Lacs, with the lowest being 4 Lacs and an average of 6 Lacs. Paytm hired a lot of us, and almost everyone got an internship. The most common job title for us is Graduate Engineer Trainee.
Campus: The college has everything you need: Wi-Fi, E-Labs, a library, high tech classrooms, playgrounds, and indoor stadiums. The hostel facilities are top-notch. You can get all kinds of food. Plus, there are night canteens and a 24-hour ATM. They also organize fun fests regularly.

Admission: Most teachers in the first year are from NIT TRICHY. The rest are temporary, but they're young and eager to teach. They may lack experience, but they're really enthusiastic and helpful. The course curriculum is like the one in NIT Trichy. You can always count on them for support.
Placement: Since I'm in my fourth year, I can't speak about placements yet. But I'm sure they'll be great because we have support from NIT TRICHY's placement cell. Since our college works in PPP mode, we also get help from our partner companies. Some students have already landed internships through the college.
Campus: The campus at NIT Trichy is huge, so we've got all the facilities we need. We've got 24/7 Wi-Fi, a sports center, and good medical facilities. The classrooms and hostels don't have AC, but they're well-maintained and nice.

Admission: The teachers who are filling in are not that great. The teaching isn't that good. Before, some teachers didn't have Ph.Ds. Now they're using NIT labs. They're bringing in new permanent teachers who are more qualified.
Placement: Placement was okay. In the first batch, not many students got placed. Most of the offers were for software roles, even for ECE students. No core companies came for placements. The lowest package was around 3 Lacs. Only a few students got internships through the college. Others had to find internships on their own.
Campus: The classrooms at NIT Trichy are in good shape. Girls have separate quarters from the main hostel, but the boys' accommodation isn't great. They stay at a nearby college, which is a two-hour journey from NIT.
