Admission: Communication from IIM Ranchi remained consistent. Shortlisting for WAT-PI was transparent, interview slots and merit list updates were timely, and registration with document verification went smoothly due to supportive staff.

Academic: For my IPM course here, first three years we get a BBA degree, and then the MBA degree. The course structure for the first three years is quite diverse, with subjects like humanities, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, economics, and accounts. These different subjects really help a student develop completely. The whole course runs on a tri-semester system. We get credit points for every single subject we clear. The competition is really tough though, all because of the relative grading system they have.

Placement: Talking about placements at IIM Ranchi, it's pretty solid with a 100% record for the MBA batch. Here, we have two main MBA programs: a general MBA that covers all specializations, and then a separate MBA program specifically for Human Resources. For the year 2020, the highest salary offered within India was 26 Lacs, while the highest international offer touched 56 Lacs, with the average package standing at 15.11 Lacs. Our IPM batch is the first one, but our placements will happen alongside the regular MBA batch, so there won't be much difference there. During the IPM course, students do 3 internships. For the MBA batch, the average stipend for internships was 95,000 rupees, and the highest someone got was 3,26,000. In total, 94 companies came for placements. Some of the big recruiters were Asian Paints, Dell Technologies, JP Morgan, Chase & Co, Mahindra, Titan, L&T, Yes Bank, Cognizant, KPMG, and Accenture.

Campus: Our college, IIM Ranchi, has a really good new campus now. It's a huge place, 70 acres big, and they've made it with a vertical design. All the new students are studying here. Before this, the college started in 2010 and was in a temporary building at Suchna Bhawan, and our hostels were quite far at Khelgaon. But now, everything is at the world-class new campus. We have all the important stuff here like medical help, sports facilities, a swimming pool, and a canteen. The infrastructure is seriously top-notch.

Admission: Coordination during admission at IIM Ranchi was strong. After clearing CAT, the PI and WAT rounds were structured, shortlisting and final offers were clearly communicated, and the online portal made verification and fee payment simple.

Academic: The curriculum and how they evaluate us here is really holistic, which is great because it's not just about one exam. Speaking of studies, our teachers are very good. They've even given guest lectures at Ivy League places like Harvard Business School and published many books. They're always ready to help clear any doubts we have.

Placement: For placements here, many companies visit our college to hire students. Almost all students from our course managed to get placed, which is good. A lot of students even got PPOs. This time, placements were a bit challenging because our batch has so many students. Still, the highest salary package offered was 67 LPA. The average salary package was 19.4 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 18 LPA.

Campus: From my experience, our college infrastructure is quite good. We get all the important things we need here. Our classrooms have AC and smart boards, which helps a lot. The library also has a lot of books, especially non-fiction and management journals, and they keep adding more. If students want new books, they can tell the library people and they usually get them.

Admission: Structure at IIM Ranchi felt well planned from start to finish. After the CAT score, shortlisting was clearly communicated, the Personal Interview was thorough, and updates about the merit list and offer letter were timely. Document verification during registration was efficient, followed by a smooth orientation.

Academic: The college gives you all the practical skills and knowledge you need, which depends on what course you choose. Our teachers are really helpful in class. Semester exams are usually at a medium level, not too tough. Students here also need to learn at their own pace. The cutoff for admission or passing generally falls between 60% and 75%.

Placement: Our college placements are pretty good. Almost 97% of students are in our course. The highest salary offered was 29 LPA, while the minimum was 7 LPA, with an average of 17 LPA. Big companies like Axis Bank, Tata Motors, and Microsoft visit our campus. Also, a lot of students, about 92%, got internships. Top roles offered include HR and Manager.

Campus: Right now, IIM Ranchi doesn't have its own proper campus. Our hotel, which has good facilities, is located in the Khelgaon Housing Association. The classrooms also come with all the necessary stuff we need. The academy building and the guest house are actually in separate spots. So, students take college buses to travel from their hotels to their classes.

Admission: Stages in the IIM Ranchi admission process were clearly defined after CAT shortlisting. The WAT and PI were well organized, communication remained timely, and receiving the offer letter was straightforward. Document verification during final registration went smoothly.

Academic: Teachers here are really good, they know a lot about their subjects and are always helpful. Academics are taken very seriously in our college. The professors decide how our marks are given, mostly through quizzes, group presentations, and two main exams. Exams can be tough sometimes, but if you pay attention during lectures, you will find them doable.

Placement: Almost everyone from our college gets placed each year, which is a great thing. The average salary package here is around 17 lakhs. Last year, the highest package someone got was 32 lakhs, which is really impressive. Reputed companies like Infosys, Deloitte, and Accenture come here to hire students. Most of the students who get placed usually land up in good management positions.

Campus: In my opinion, our campus is quite beautiful and it gets the job done well. The hostels and the mess food here are actually good, they match up with the high fees we pay. But since the college is newly built, some things are still not fully developed, like the playground, the community area, and a few other buildings. Also, the college management is not that effective.

Admission: Professional conduct throughout the IIM Ranchi admission journey built confidence. Interviews were well handled, the merit list arrived on time, and registration with document verification was seamless. Orientation onboarding was also well planned.

Academic: I must say, the faculty at IIM-Ranchi truly makes this college special. Their hard work and vision are clear in how they built this college from the beginning. They felt like a part of our small family and were super approachable, very qualified, and knew a lot. They taught us in modern ways, using PPTs, giving online quizzes, and sharing knowledge digitally, even having discussions outside class. We had a great student-faculty ratio, about 20:1 for permanent teachers. The college also made sure we got good industry exposure through internships, live projects, industry visits, guest lectures, and experts from companies teaching us. Our course curriculum is very current, with some challenging subjects that really make you think. It's impressive how it covers today's business problems and helps us develop new ways of thinking by understanding the basics. The management and board deserve a lot of credit for creating such an excellent curriculum.

Placement: PGDHRM 2012-14 batch was the first HR batch ever. For summer internships, most of us, around 75-80%, found good HR roles. When it came to final placements, this number dropped a bit, with nearly 65% getting placed. Overall, our placements were a bit weaker compared to the PGDM batch. This was because many companies have a rule to only visit colleges that have been around for some years. But we still got core HR jobs from many types of industries like pharmaceutical, banking and finance (BFSI), power, manufacturing, government (PSU), and consulting firms. The average salary for students placed through campus was between 5 to 6 LPA.

Campus: The facilities at IIM Ranchi are really top-notch. Classrooms are super modern, they have a great library and e-library, plus a big convention hall. Everything is done in white and green colours, which makes the whole campus look professional yet welcoming for a B-school. The hostel was totally different, a separate world. It was located away from the city crowd, in a really pretty area of Ranchi, peaceful and self-sufficient. We got single rooms, which was nice because you had your own space but still lived in a community with everyone. For food, the mess served four meals a day. Honestly, only breakfast and evening snacks were mostly good to eat. But don't worry, there's also a canteen for midnight snacks, and their food was much better and tastier. Now, the main campus was right in Ranchi city, opposite the CM's house. But the hostel was like 10 km away. This made commuting a bit tricky. Good thing is, students had a dedicated committee, and the college gave enough transport so everyone reached classes and got back to the hostel without any problem.

Admission: Flow of admission at IIM Ranchi felt easy to follow. Updates on shortlist status and interview schedules were timely, post-interview registration steps were well explained, and document verification was efficient. Staff support made joining comfortable.

Academic: From my experience at college, the professors are genuinely great. They are quite friendly and knowledgeable, so it's easy to talk to them if you have doubts. The quality of teaching here is really good too. Our course syllabus is very relevant and useful. We have 6 major exams every year, thanks to the term system. You need to score at least 35% to pass. Also, attendance is a big deal here; you must have 80% attendance to avoid problems.

Placement: Placements here are quite decent. For this course, only social internships are offered, and many students got internships through this. Our department also organizes regular summer internships.

Campus: At our college, the hostel facilities are really good. You get beds, wardrobes, chairs, and tables in the rooms, and they even have double occupancy options. The washrooms in the hostels are also kept well. For those who prefer, there are many rented rooms available just outside our campus. Inside the college, all classrooms have internet, which is super helpful. These classrooms are well-furnished and come with things like podiums, on-seat mics, smart boards, and ACs for comfort.

Academic: Course curriculum at our college was very good and made students ready for jobs. Also, the semester exams were not that hard to clear. Our college faculty was truly one of the best. All the professors were really qualified, knowledgeable, and had a lot of experience teaching. They always gave us top-notch education and training.

Placement: At our IIM college, all the MBA students get a chance for placements. Around 60-65% of students actually get jobs after their course. The average salary package offered was usually between 5 to 10 LPA. Many big companies like Capgemini, Cognizant, HUL, Walmart, Flipkart, and IBM come to hire students from here.

Campus: At IIM Ranchi, the infrastructure for our course is really good. Students here get all the best facilities right on campus. We have Wi-Fi, good labs, a nice library, a canteen, and a mess. The hostel facilities are also of good quality. Plus, all modern things like sports and medical services are available for us at the college.

Admission: Transparency in the IIM Ranchi process stood out. The PI and WAT stages were well managed, merit list communication was prompt, and online registration after the offer letter was straightforward. Document verification at joining was efficient.

Academic: What I really like about our college is how many different subjects they offer. Like, you can study stuff from science, humanities, and even commerce all in one place. We have things like Physics, Biology, psychology, sociology, literature, accountancy, economics, and lots more options. And the best part is, our teachers are super experienced and always very friendly to talk to.

Placement: This year, placements at IIM Ranchi were really good, like 100% students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 32.21 LPA, and the average package was 16.17 LPA. Also, the top 25 percent of students got good packages around 22.17 LPA. Many big companies like Flipkart, Accenture, Cognizant, Aditya Birla, and ICICI Bank came to recruit here.

Campus: Rooms at IIM Ranchi are set up like apartments, which is super good for privacy since each one even gets its own kitchen. The food quality here is also very nice, with them serving tasty and healthy meals to everyone. Sports facilities are just okay, not great but not bad either, just average. The main thing is that our campus is temporary and it's located inside a housing society, so students do have some restrictions because of that.

Academic: The course curriculum here is very good and useful for the industry. It makes students almost ready for jobs. But you know, no college can make us 100% job ready because every company wants different things. Talking about our teachers, most of them are well-qualified and know a lot. They are also very helpful to students. So, the teaching quality here is better than average.

Placement: From what I've seen, our college's placements are really good. Almost everyone, like 98% of students, gets placed here, which is amazing. The highest salary someone got was 27 LPA, and even the lowest was 8 LPA, which is quite decent. On average, students usually get around 12 LPA packages. Big companies like Flipkart, Deloitte, EY, and IBM come to our campus to hire. And not just jobs, 100% of us also got internships, with top companies like Flipkart, Deloitte, EY, Ola, and Wipro offering them. Most of us landed roles in HR consulting, recruiting, learning and development, and HR business partner positions.

Campus: Hostel at our college was definitely the best thing. They give everyone a personal room and it has all the facilities you need. We also had good Wi-Fi access. The food quality in the mess was actually above average, which was nice. Medical facilities were there too. On the downside, we didn't have proper classrooms, labs, or a good library. Also, there wasn't a proper canteen or sports facilities available for students.

Academic: Our teachers here are just awesome. They are very helpful and really smart, plus they understand everything. They guide us always, in every way.

Placement: The placements at our college are really good. For this course, they also offer summer internships to students.

Campus: Our college has a really beautiful campus with a peaceful and good environment. The classrooms are excellent, and the hostels are good too. For sports and fitness, there's a playground, a swimming pool, and a gym facility available here.
