Admission: Entry into IIM Visakhapatnam felt like a well-planned journey. After clearing CAT, the shortlisting for PI and WAT was clearly communicated. The interview panel was professional, and the steps after the merit list, including document verification, were organized. Timely updates about the offer letter and registration made the provisional admission smooth.

Academic: The teachers here are really good and know a lot, plus you can talk to them easily. Some of our faculty even studied in IIMs, so they have awesome knowledge, especially in marketing and finance. Our course is made to help students grow in every way, not just with written exams. We also have group projects, presentations, simulations, and even marks for how much you participate in class. A 2-month summer internship is a must after you finish the first year. The class size is 140 students, and the course fees are 1,75,000 rupees for each year.

Placement: In IIM Visakhapatnam, placements are quite good actually. Many big companies and even new start-ups visit our campus to hire students. They offer a lot of opportunities across different fields like marketing, finance, and analytics. Last year, the highest salary someone got was 42 LPA, and the average package was around 14 to 16 LPA. Almost 85% of students here get placement chances.

Campus: From my experience, the hostel facility at our college is a must for all students, and it's actually one of the best on campus. Each student gets their own single room with AC, a bed, an almirah, and even study lamps, so you have everything you need for the two years. A really nice part is that all the hostels have awesome scenic views right from your window. Plus, every floor is well-equipped with fridges, washing machines, induction plates, and proper areas to dry your clothes. The food here is also quite decent, way better than what you find in most other places. You get all your meals covered – breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner – and they even make special dishes for special occasions.

Admission: Selection into the institute followed a structured path. Post-CAT shortlisting for WAT and PI rounds was clear, and the interview panel appeared professional. Receiving the offer letter after the merit list was a big moment. Online registration and document verification went smoothly, and the pre-joining orientation provided useful clarity.

Academic: Tecahers here are quite experienced and qualified, which is great. They really help students to understand things and gain more knowledge. Our college has all the facilities we need to get ready for the industry. Most students pass, like 95% pass, but still, some find it a bit tough to clear exams.

Placement: From my experience, the placements at our college are fantastic. All the students, every single one, got jobs here. Big companies like Symbiosis Technology and Wipro Limited came here for hiring. The salary packages were quite good too; the highest one offered in our course was 40 LPA, and the lowest was 7 LPA. On average, students got about 15 LPA for our courses. So yeah, 100% placement is true for us.

Campus: I like about our college is the awesome facilities and infrastructure for all the courses and departments. We get 24/7 Wi-Fi, and the labs, classrooms, and library are also quite good. Even the hostel is pretty nice here. The mess gives really hygienic food with many options, but yeah, it's a bit costly. Medical facilities and sports are available too.

Admission: Experience of my admission at IIM Visakhapatnam was streamlined and clear. From CAT-based shortlisting to the final personal interview, every stage was communicated well. Academic: For me, doing an MBA was the right choice because I wanted to switch from being a Digital Marketer to a Brand Manager. I really wanted to manage all the marketing stuff for a brand and help it get big. To learn this, I needed to know about customer behavior, brand management, traditional marketing ways, product pricing, and many more things. Our teachers are very qualified; most of them have PhDs from super good places like IITs and other IIMs. In a class, we usually have around 90 students with one teacher. The term exams happen on time, and honestly, they are not too tough to clear if you study regularly and prepare properly.

Placement: Our college has amazing placements, with a 100 percent placement rate at IIM Visakhapatnam. All students get placed which is great. You become eligible for placements from the 4th Term itself. Last year, around 180-190 companies visited our campus. The highest package offered was about 32 Lacs per annum, and the average package was around 16 Lacs per annum. My goal is to work in the marketing department of a reputed company as a Brand Manager.

Campus: In IIM Visakhapatnam, we have a really good sports complex with everything: a gym, basketball court, football ground, athletic track, cricket ground, pool table, and table tennis. So, lots of sports and extra activities can be done here. Our classrooms are super tidy and come with two TVs and two projectors for showing things. They even have cameras that follow the teacher, which is cool because you can watch a lecture from another room if needed. The library here is also great; it has tons of books on management if you want to learn more than just your course stuff. You can also find journals, newspapers, magazines, and even books about famous people's lives. Every year in February, we have our main cultural fest called Samaarambh. And for student issues, our Student Affair Council is always there to speak for us.

Admission: Admission at IIMV was managed efficiently from start to finish. Communication around interview rounds and the final offer letter was clear and timely. Document verification during registration was handled smoothly, with helpful staff support throughout, making the overall process easy to navigate.

Academic: Course is very well planned, and it's even mentored by IIM Bangalore PGP. This is a two-year program. For the first year, all students have the same subjects, but in the second year, we get to choose what we want to study. A lot of our learning comes from Harvard University case studies. The teachers here are super dedicated; they teach because they love it, even though they could earn more in companies. Their teaching is excellent, and they know all their subjects very well. We usually have two exams in a three-month period, and these exams are mostly about case studies. The only tricky thing is talking to the support staff because they only speak Telugu.

Placement: Talking about jobs, our college placement record is getting better each year, which is really promising. The highest package recorded was 42 lakhs, with the average package being around 16.5 lakhs. Good news is that 50% of the students get placed above this average. For the top 25% of the batch, packages are usually around 23 lakhs. We see big companies like ICICI Bank, Deloitte, KPMG, Yes Bank, EY, Anand Rathi, and Amul coming to campus. They offer roles like analyst, wealth management trainee, senior analyst, finance analyst, and IT consultant. Right now, not a lot of companies visit, but the overall placement scene is definitely improving.

Campus: Our college campus is pretty new and has all modern facilities. But honestly, the area it's in is quite empty and far from the main city, which makes it hard to get cabs or order stuff online. Also, since things are still being built, there's always construction noise that can be disturbing. Plus, networks like Airtel have problems on campus. However, the newly built library is really good and has all the study materials we need. I got a single room with AC, a fan, almirah, cupboard, mattress, a long mirror, whiteboard, and a pinboard, and they clean it daily, which is nice. For food, it's mostly South Indian, but at least we get chicken three days a week.

Admission: Application to IIM Visakhapatnam turned out smooth and transparent. Shortlisting based on CAT percentile and profile was clearly explained. The WAT and PI rounds were well-conducted with proper instructions. The admission offer arrived quickly, and both registration and document verification were efficiently managed by the administration.

Academic: Professors here are quite experienced and they really help us with our studies. If we need advice, they even give personal suggestions about our future, like what steps to take next. They also offer personal training if someone asks for it. So, the teaching quality overall is just great.

Placement: I'm doing the PGP course at IIM Visakhapatnam, and let me tell you, the placements are really good. Almost 100 percent of students got placed from our batch. Companies like Amazon and Flipkart came for placements, and they offered roles such as financial manager. The highest package someone got was 90 LPA, and the average package is around 25 LPA, which is quite good. Also, almost every student gets an internship in their final year from good companies, and they give proper stipends too.

Campus: I really miss my campus so much. You know, IIM campuses always have everything modern and updated for students. The classrooms and hostels here are excellent, always kept neat and super clean. Also, the food available is great and very hygienic. Plus, our campus has all the facilities you need, like sports grounds, a medical center, and even a supermarket right inside the campus.
