Admission: Experiencing the IISc admission process was surprisingly smooth. The portal was easy to use, and after the interview, the offer letter arrived promptly. Document verification was efficient, and the instructions for online registration were clear. Support staff were helpful throughout.
Academic: Faculty at this college is incredibly qualified and highly motivated to help students. They have their own labs for research and guide students very well during projects. They are always approachable and provide clear explanations when needed.
Placement: At our institute, most students actually want to go for higher studies since it's very research-focused. This is kind of unique. Even so, we have a proper placement cell on campus that helps students who want to join companies. You can sit for placements in your last semester, as long as you've got all your credits. Last year's numbers show that only 6 students went for placements, but 5 of them got placed, with an average package of 15 lakhs yearly. The big majority of students, though, chose to continue their education. Many either stayed at IISc for their Masters or went for a PhD. In fact, 60 out of 100 students got into top international universities in the USA, Europe, and Australia for their PhDs, aiming to contribute to scientific research. These universities are big names, like the University of Michigan, Oxford University, Caltech, and the University of Los Angeles, among others.
Campus: The hostels and food facilities at our college are pretty good, I must say. The hostel blocks are split up for different students, with us UG students getting E, U, and S blocks. Each room comes with a bed, fan, cupboard, and light, so they're well set up. In E block, you share a room with one other person, but U and S blocks have single rooms available. Which room you get is totally random, and you find out on your very first day on campus. They are super cheap too, only 5,000 rupees a month, and the best part is they are right in the center of campus, making it easy to get to classes. For food, the quality is really excellent here. We have five messes: A and B serve North Indian veg and non-veg, C and D have South Indian veg and non-veg, and E mess offers a mix of everything. Students themselves decide the menu through a mess committee, which is cool. We get four meals daily: breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. On festivals, they make special dishes, and there are always deserts and beverages included.

Admission: Admission here was quite streamlined. The online application was user-friendly, and the shortlisting process felt transparent. Interview scheduling and timely communication about my offer letter made the journey smooth. Document verification during registration was efficient, leading to a hassle-free start before orientation.
Academic: My teachers were very knowledgeable and genuinely supportive. All of them had Masters degrees from good universities, so the teaching quality was excellent. The curriculum prepared us well for industry visits. While semester exams in college are generally tough, the exam for our course was easier, and around 80 percent of students passed.
Placement: What I noticed at IISC Bangalore is that about 40% of students actually got placed in research programs. For our course, the college offered average placement opportunities. The companies that usually hired were from research and information departments. Average package wise, it was around 4 LPA to 5 LPA. A really good thing was that 60% of students from my course managed to get placed. The salaries for this course went from 3 LPA up to 20 LPA. Plus, more than 50% of students got internships too.
Campus: The food quality in our college mess is pretty good. Also, the facilities and infrastructure are nice. We have Wi-Fi, proper classrooms, and a library that students can use. Medical facilities are also available for everyone. And yes, sports and games are played here too.

Admission: My admission at IISc involved a thorough interview process. Waiting for the merit list and offer letter felt like ages, but the online application portal was user-friendly. Document verification was very organized, and registration went smoothly. The orientation session was helpful, making the overall joining experience clear and well-guided.
Academic: From my experience, the teachers here are super helpful and really smart, with many even holding a PhD. The teaching quality is good, and the courses prepare us fully for the industry. Our semester exams are tougher than other colleges, but they genuinely help us improve. You need to score above 9 CGPA to pass, and overall I had a good experience.
Placement: From my experience, the placement situation at IISc has really gotten better since they started the campus placement cell. The average salary package here is around 25 LPA. But honestly, many students from IISc choose to go for higher studies, just like I am planning to do. That's why you might see the placement percentage looking a bit low. This is pretty much my take on the placements here.
Campus: My college has pretty good infrastructure, way better than most other colleges in the city. We get Wi-Fi everywhere on campus, which is super helpful. Classrooms are always clean, and even the washrooms are kept neat. The library has a really good collection of books too. Sports facilities here are quite good. But the hostel is not that great, and honestly, the food there is the worst thing.

Admission: Entering IISc required going through a rigorous selection process. The online registration was straightforward, but the aptitude test and interview rounds were challenging. Communication from the admissions office about interview schedules and results was timely. Document verification was quick and staff helpful. A demanding but well-managed journey.
Academic: What stands out for me in this university is how excellent the teaching staff is. Every faculty member has a PhD, and they are always supportive and responsible. We also get plenty of extracurricular activities. The semester system includes two CA tests and two main exams, and each subject comes with practical work like assignments and projects.
Placement: Our college has really good placements and job opportunities. Many companies come here for placements, actually way more than other colleges in our class. Some big names like LnT, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Jindal Steel, Wipro, TCS, and A2Z Solutions visit, and there are even more companies too. Also, we have a placement cell right in the university. They help students a lot to get jobs and prepare us well for all the chances that come our way.
Campus: The course curriculum here is really good, especially for accounts and tax, they teach everything in great depth. That was super helpful for me. We had regular classes too, which was perfect since we were all new to college after finishing school. Exams are semester-wise, so we get internal assessments twice a year. For hostel life, the food is amazing, definitely a 9 out of 10. Hostel infrastructure and facilities are decent, both rated 7 out of 10. The gym is also pretty good, an 8 out of 10. Sometimes the strictness is a bit much, it's like a 5 out of 10, and some rules can make students feel annoyed.

Admission: Submitting my documents for IISc admission was very straightforward. Qualification papers, degree, LC, and 10th and 12th results were checked quickly. The staff at registration were helpful and clarified steps instantly. Overall, the process felt well-organized and easy to follow.
Academic: This masters program lasts one to two years, and the exams are extremely difficult. The questions are challenging, but the teachers are very knowledgeable and always available to help. Their guidance makes the tough course easier to manage.
Placement: To get into this college, you need to show some important documents. These include your qualification papers, degree certificate, LC, and your 10th and 12th class results. Many good companies like TCS, Wipro, and Accenture visit our campus for recruitment. These companies also provide internships to students which is really helpful.
Campus: In our college, we get a lot of good stuff. There are nice classrooms, labs, a big library, and clean bathrooms. We even have a lift, a garden, and a gymkhana for sports. Plus, drinking water machines are everywhere. The teachers here really try to organize many sports and other events for all of us. Oh, and the canteen food? It's seriously tasty and good for health too.

Admission: Processing my IISc admission was quite organized. The online application portal was easy to navigate, and all steps from shortlisting to the interview schedule were communicated clearly. Once selected, the document verification was efficient, and final registration happened quickly. It made the joining experience hassle-free.
Academic: Most teachers are approachable and friendly, and they are highly qualified in their subjects. You can meet them anytime by sending an email. Their teaching methods are effective, and the college has enough faculty to maintain a good student teacher ratio.
Placement: In IISc, the placement scene has really picked up after they started the new placement cell. The average salary here is pretty good, like 25 LPA. You know, most students from IISc prefer to go for higher studies, so because of that, the placement percentage might look a bit low. I am also planning to do my higher studies from here.
Campus: Our college has really good infrastructure, with comfy furniture for students and Wi-Fi that works 24/7 all over the campus. The library is full of books and journals, which is great for self-study. All the labs are also well-equipped with whatever tools we need. Plus, the college gives good sports and medical help. On the downside, the hostel is just okay, and the mess food is not good at all – it's neither tasty nor clean.

Admission: Completing my admission at IISc felt streamlined from the start. The application and selection process, though rigorous, was clearly communicated. Joining formalities were efficient, with staff being helpful during document verification. Overall, a smooth onboarding experience.
Academic: In our program, teachers are more like researchers first and professors second, and they really know their subjects deeply. They encourage us to visit the lab if we have doubts. The classes prepare us well for industry work. Exams are the biggest issue because we have one to three tests almost every week. It gets tiring, but more than 99 percent of students still pass.
Placement: About placements here, for M.Sc. Chemical Science, they are not that great since the course is quite new. Only about 10% of students get placed because most prefer to go for a PhD. The highest salary someone got was around 13 LPA, with the average being 8 LPA and the lowest at 3 LPA. Most of the companies recruiting are related to batteries; for example, last year, two students joined Ola. For internships, people usually apply to other places like IITs or IISERs and get them there. A top role for us often means joining a professor's lab for an M.Sc. project, sometimes even at IISc, to work on research with them.
Campus: Every student gets their own single room here, which is great. For food, we have 5 messes; two of them serve non-veg and three are for veg food. There are also two canteens if you want something else. If you ever feel sick, we have a health center on campus where doctors and nurses are very kind. For sports and games, there's a gymkhana too. Coming to academics, our classrooms are really advanced, just like seminar halls. The labs are also very modern. And the Wi-Fi speed is good, about 100 Mbps. Our JRD Tata library is also very good, and it stays open 24/7, closing only on Sundays.

Academic: Our teachers are very knowledgeable and supportive, making the overall teaching quality excellent. This course is slightly difficult and requires at least 40 percent marks to clear. Evaluation includes assignments, class tests, mid semester exams and viva. The labs and research facilities help students stay productive.
Placement: In my course, 20% of students got internships this year with companies like Reliance and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited. For job placements, about 20% of students also got placed. The highest salary package was 15 LPA, the lowest was 10 LPA, and the average package came out to be 12 LPA. Our college really focuses on good teaching and also doing a lot of research.
Campus: At our college, we have a good library and labs that are well-equipped for research. The classrooms are also nicely arranged. Campus offers Wi-Fi, pure water, and 24/7 electricity, which is available in both the hostel and department. We get healthy food, and there's a health center on campus for any needs. Plus, there are lots of options for indoor and outdoor games and sports.

Admission: My admission at IISc involved a clear application process, though interview scheduling required a bit of follow-up. The provisional offer and subsequent document verification were handled efficiently. Joining felt seamless after fee payment, and orientation details arrived just in time. Good support from the admission cell.
Academic: Passing semester exams in my course is not too difficult, with about 70 percent of students clearing them. The curriculum is very relevant and prepares us well for industry visits. The teachers are helpful, qualified and confident in their subjects.
Placement: For my course, around 80% of students get internships in big companies like Wipro and Railways. Placements are also really good here. Many top recruiting companies come to hire from our course. The salary package usually goes from 3 LPA up to 16 LPA.
Campus: The facilities at our college are really good. We get Wi-Fi, and the classrooms are nice. There's also a library for all students. The canteen food is also very tasty. A medical facility is there for any emergency. And students can play many sports and games in the college.

Admission: Applying to IISc felt quite efficient. The application portal was intuitive, and communication regarding my interview and subsequent offer letter was always prompt. Document verification was a breeze, with staff guiding us well. The final registration and orientation felt very organized, making for a smooth start.
Academic: Teaching quality here feels strong because many of our teachers have PhDs and explain topics very well. The course gives us solid industry preparation. The semester exams are tougher than what most colleges have, but they help us grow academically. Passing requires more than a 9 CGPA, which pushes us to work hard.
Placement: Many students at IISc go for higher studies, which is why the placement percentage might look low. But, campus placement conditions really got better after the campus placement cell started here. The average salary package was good, around 25 LPA. Personally, I am also planning to go for higher studies after this.
Campus: What I liked most about our college was its infrastructure. It's truly the best when you compare it to other colleges in the city. We had Wi-Fi available all over the campus, which was really useful. The classrooms were always very clean, and the library had a good stock of books too. Even the washrooms were kept clean. However, the hostel facilities were not up to mark, and frankly, the food served there was quite bad. But for sports, the college was pretty good.
