Admission: The teachers at International Maritime Institute are really helpful and know their stuff. They teach us well. The subjects we study are practical and get us ready for working in the industry. The exams we have to take are not too hard, so it's not too stressful.
Placement: I got placed in marine engineering at the International Maritime Institute, and I'm pretty happy with the opportunities. About 40% of us landed jobs, with the highest package being 12 LPA. The lowest was 3 LPA, and the average was 5 LPA. The top companies hiring were Fleet Management, Synergy Group, and others. It's a good spot for a career in marine engineering.
Campus: The marine engineering program here has great facilities. Everything from Wi-Fi to the library is top-notch and well taken care of. They also have sports tournaments which are a lot of fun. Overall, it's a good place for students.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really nice and easy to have fun with. They're great in both teaching and just hanging out. The course lasts for 4 years and is from Indian Maritime University. The chief engineers and other faculty are awesome too.
Placement: Our college only has 4 big companies that come for placements. Each of them hires around 3 students. Lately, not many major companies come here because there are already lots of people looking for jobs. This makes the interview process harder. But the college keeps wanting more students to join because it helps them financially. Once you pay the fees, they don't really care if you get a job or not.
Campus: The hostel rooms are decent, but it's a bummer that 4 students have to share each room. The beds could be better, though. The food is okay, but don't expect anything fancy. Sunday's meals are pretty good, though. Sadly, there's no AC in the hostel. Our college is pretty small, only covering 1,000 square yards. The gym and rec room are not great. The library is good quality. There's a swimming pool that you can see from the hostel and classrooms. It's not perfect, but you'll get used to it.

Admission: The teachers at our college have a lot of experience and come straight from the industry. They really know their stuff. The classes can be busy, but the schedule makes it manageable. The pass rate is 50% for both practicals and exams.
Placement: I love this college because they help us get jobs in companies like Fleet Management, Scorpio, Dockendale, MMSI, and Synergy. Everyone in my batch got placed, which is awesome. The college even helps us get pre-sponsored by those companies. Some other companies also come here for placements. Love it!
Campus: The hostels have Wi-Fi, but there's a 1 GB limit per day. They're nice and have air-conditioning, plus they have things like western toilets and geysers for hot water. The food at IMI is great, with lots of different cuisines to choose from, including veg and non-veg options.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful, super qualified, and know their stuff. They're great at teaching. If you work hard, you'll do well in the Shipping industry. They even help out when you're doing extra work.
Placement: My college is all about training for merchant navy jobs. It's like preparing to work on ships in the trading industry. They guarantee 100% job placement, which is super cool. The main courses are DNS and B.Tech in marine engineering. If you go for DNS, you'll even get sponsorship before you start. The highest salary for a Captain is 10 Lacs a month! As a cadet, you can expect to earn between 30,000 - 50,000 per month. Big companies like Maersk Line and M.Sc. Dockndail come here to hire students. It's the best institute in North India for sure!
Campus: This college has everything you need. They treat you like a cadet here. The classrooms and hostel are nice with AC and good furniture. Since it's a navy training place, the food is top-notch to keep you in shape. They have lots of sports to play and good medical care too. They really focus on keeping us fit and healthy here.

Admission: The fees at this college are pretty good compared to others. The DNS program costs around 6 Lacs and B.Tech is around 16 lacs. The teachers are all experienced sailors and their teaching is top-notch.
Placement: At IMI, all DNS cadets already have sponsors. There are lots of chances to get hired in different courses too. Big companies visit campus, making it easier for average students to land a job. You just need to have a 70% score to be eligible, which is doable with a bit of effort.
Campus: The campus has top-notch facilities. The food is good. All classrooms have Wi-Fi. The library has lots of useful books and magazines for Merchant Navy students. There are many sports to play like cricket, volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, Kho-kho, and more.

Admission: The teachers at this college are super knowledgeable and helpful. The semester exams can be challenging, but the faculty overall is really great. I wish the course had more hands-on experience rather than just theory. One downside is that the shipping campus is only available at campus 1, so students in DNS miss out on practical ship work experience.
Placement: The DNS course is awesome because you get placed in a company before even starting college. Big companies like Fleet Management, Dock and Dale, PIL, Synergy come to our college for placements. Everyone gets placed, which is amazing! This course prepares us for what we'll be doing on the ship. Love it!
Campus: The college's infrastructure isn't as great as some other maritime colleges in India. But the hostel food is good and the place is clean. However, the medical facility and canteen could be better. Also, the 2nd campus doesn't have games and sports facilities. Plus, there's only a swimming pool on one campus.

Admission: The teachers here are really experienced, coming from the Indian Navy and Merchant Navy. They have a lot of time at sea. Only captains teach us, and they're super knowledgeable. They're like role models for us cadets. The course is designed for our jobs, so everything we learn is useful when we work on a ship. It gets us ready for the industry's demands.
Placement: Our college guarantees 100% job placements for our course because only sponsored students can join. Big companies like Maersk Line, MSC, Fleet Management, Scorpio, Dockendale, and Synergy hire students from our course. The average salary for an 18-month cadetship is about 450 USD. How much you make in merchant navy depends on the ship you're on and the company you work for.
Campus: International Maritime Institute is really great. It's the best in India. They have a ship on campus with a working engine, which is cool. The hostels are new and have AC rooms. Plus, there's Wi-Fi in the hostels. The library has books on navigation, history, and magazines. The labs have all the tools we need. The food in the mess is delicious and clean. There's also a canteen on campus. In the classrooms, we have smart boards. A doctor comes every day. The only downside is that there aren't a lot of sports facilities because the campus isn't very big.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really great. They know their stuff and teach well. When it comes to semester exams, they give us good practice to get ready for the final IMU exams. You need at least 50% to pass the DNS course here. The academic block is a bit small, but it's okay.
Placement: My batchmates went for interviews with a company, but they still haven't heard back. Companies like M.Sc. Fleet, Demico, and Wallem come every year to pick new hires. Most students, around 98%, end up getting selected by these companies as cadets.
Campus: The hostel is in good shape. They clean the washrooms every day, which is nice. I like that they keep everything clean. They have a small football field and good courts for volleyball and badminton. The mess is good too.

Admission: The teachers here are really experienced. They used to be captains in the navy. The study stuff they give us fits what we need for jobs. The exams are okay, not too hard. About half the students pass.
Placement: I went to International Maritime Institute, which is connected to Indian Maritime University in Chennai. They train DNS students for jobs at sea. The cool part is, all of us got jobs right after finishing. Most of us, like 98%, were sponsored by big shipping companies like D'amico, Feet Management, Wallem Shipping, M.Sc. PIL, MMSI, and others. We get to work as deck cadets and train at sea for about 18 months. It's a great place for anyone looking to start a career in the maritime industry.
Campus: The stuff they've got for our course is awesome. We've got an aviation lab, bridge simulator, seamanship lab, and even a real ship on campus in North India. It's like the real deal! The hostel is cool too, with super fast Wi-Fi at 200 Mbps. It can house about 250 students. The rooms are nice, with beds and closets. The food is great too, made by real chefs. They serve both veg and non-veg food in the mess for up to 200 people. It's all good stuff here!

Placement: I really recommend International Maritime Institute if you're interested in joining the merchant navy. There are lots of companies that come for placements and offer sponsorship opportunities. It's a great place to kickstart your career at sea.
Campus: The hostel here is awesome! They've got everything you need to study. The food is tasty, and all the rooms and mess are air-conditioned. Bathrooms are clean, and they have RO purified water.
