Admission: Admission journey stayed positive from start to finish. Online form filling was simple, interview updates were timely, verification was efficient, and staff support during registration stood out.
Academic: I like about IIFM is that the faculty here is top-notch, and the course curriculum is also designed very well. They make sure to check student performance quite often with quizzes, assignments, group tasks, and exams. Every student also gets a dedicated faculty mentor who tracks their progress and gives all the help they might need.
Placement: College IIFM really shines when it comes to placements and internships. They always make sure students get into good companies, and this year was no different, with 100% placement, just like last year. Internships were also pretty good. For packages, the highest this year went up to 13.75 Lacs, and even the lowest was decent at 4.93 Lacs. The average package was around 7.15 Lacs. Students got roles like managers and coordinators in many different fields. We also have this dedicated placement and internship committee, with both teachers and students on it. They work hard to bring in new companies every year and keep our old recruiters happy, so they keep coming back. The list of companies that hire us is quite long, but some big names include Samasta Microfinance, WWF India, Microsave, Sambodhi, Swades microfinance, and IDBI Bank.
Campus: At IIFM, the facilities are quite good for us. The hostels are nice, and you can share rooms there. We have a good mess too, which is managed by the students. Our classrooms are big enough for all students and have everything needed for studies. If you need to study late, the computer labs are open 24/7, and the library also stays open till late with many good books and journals. Plus, there are decent sports facilities and IIFM even has a gym for everyone.

Admission: My journey at IIFM stayed stress free. After making the merit list, registration was quick, verification was systematic, staff supported well during counselling, and every step was communicated clearly.
Academic: The practical stuff and field trips we had were super helpful. They taught us so much and showed us exactly how things work in the real industry. Plus, our teachers are really smart and passionate about their subjects. You can easily talk to them if you have any doubts.
Placement: Placements are pretty good here. Lots of students from our college got jobs with decent salary packages.
Campus: Our college has really good and beautiful buildings. The classrooms are also nice. For girls, the college and hostel give a very peaceful environment, no arguments or anything. And the food in the mess and canteen is quite good too.

Admission: Flow of admission at IIFM felt structured. Communication from application to merit list was excellent, verification during counselling went fast, and orientation helped a lot.
Academic: My teachers at IIFM are truly the best part of the college. They have so much experience in research, teaching, and training, you really won't find this kind of faculty anywhere else. Because of their knowledge, students here at IIFM get to understand different sectors right from the ground up, which then opens up many new opportunities for us in the future.
Placement: My experience at IIFM, placements are always strong. This year too, for the senior batch of 2017-19, placements were 100%. The highest salary package went up to 13.5 LPA, and the average package was a solid 7.5 LPA. Many different types of companies come, covering fields like development management, livelihood conservation, wildlife management, microfinance, and consultancy. So, lots of good options for everyone.
Campus: At IIFM, the facilities are really good, especially for the fees we pay. We have a big library and a computer lab that's open 24x7. There's also a sports complex and medical facilities if we need them. Plus, Wi-Fi works in every corner of the campus, which is super useful. The hostel rooms are quite spacious, and the sanitation is also well-maintained. Overall, our campus is beautiful and has everything a student needs. What's also great is the food in the mess and canteen; it's very tasty. Many students here say it's much better than what they experienced in their previous colleges.

Admission: Applying to IIFM through the portal felt smooth. Interview shortlisting seemed fair, communication about WAT and PI was clear, and post selection registration with orientation went well.
Academic: In my experience here, all the teachers are very good and know their subjects well. They make our classrooms lively by doing practical things like case studies and open learning days. So, the whole course is made to really train students to be hard-working.
Placement: IIFM has a super strong record of 100% placements since it began. For example, the 2016-18 batch got an average salary package of 7.15 Lacs. The highest package was 13.75 Lacs, and the lowest was 4.93 Lacs. All the big companies from environment, development, wildlife, and also FMCG sectors visit IIFM for offering jobs and internships.
Campus: The IIFM campus is truly one of the prettiest in our country. It was made by a very famous Indian architect, Anant Raje. All our classrooms are really modern, with speakers, projectors, and all the necessary equipment. Both students and teachers get 24/7 Wi-Fi and LAN facility here. Hostel life is awesome for any IIFM student, as the rooms are big and kept very clean. Plus, our mess is run by students only, so we always enjoy the best food.

Admission: Applying to this institute felt efficient and well managed. The portal was easy to use, verification queries were resolved quickly, updates about dates were regular, and onboarding felt welcoming.
Academic: Our teachers here are really good and know their stuff well for the course. The IFS officers teach all the forestry subjects, and for other subjects, the faculty make sure we understand everything properly. We follow a trimester system here, so there are 6 semesters for our 2-year course. For our total score, they count end-term exams, mid-term tests, regular quizzes, class tests, and assignments.
Placement: Our placements are quite nice actually. For our course, the highest package went up to 14 LPA, and the average package was 8 LPA. The placement cell did a great job handling the 2021 campus placements. Around 30 companies came to hire, and some big names like IDFC Bank and WWF were among them. I even got a decent package from WWF myself, which was a good experience.
Campus: What I like most about IIFM is its amazing infrastructure. Our classrooms are super modern, with all the smart class stuff. And guess what? We have Wi-Fi all over the campus, so internet is never an issue, even in our hostel rooms. The hostels are pretty good too, with rooms shared by two students. Each room has its own washroom, almirah, table, chair, and a comfy bed. There are three hostels in total, separate for boys and girls. Our library is awesome, it's multi-story, fully air-conditioned, and has so many books and journals. The mess food is also very hygienic and healthy, and the mess committee does a great job organizing everything. Plus, there's 24/7 medical service right here on campus, which is a big relief.

Admission: Selection and admission steps felt thoughtfully managed. Counselling rounds, verification, and final submission were organised well, with consistent support from the admission cell throughout.
Academic: The teachers here are really good, some of the smartest people in the country. They always help students and push them to do their best. Plus, our course structure gets updated regularly, all thanks to our alumni who are now experts in various industries.
Placement: IIFM really shines when it comes to placements and internships because they have a 100% record for both. It is great to see that the average salary is always growing each year. For the 2018-2020 batch, the highest package was 14 LPA, and the average salary came out to be 7.8 LPA. Many good companies like Kantar, WWF, IDFC First Bank, Sambodhi, Annapurna Microfinance, and CEEW come here to hire students.
Campus: At IIFM, the classrooms are really good, they are modern and have smart class setup. You get WiFi all over the campus which is super useful. The hostels are nice too. Rooms are for two people and have their own washroom inside. Also, each room gets an almirah, a table, a chair, and a bed. And yes, hostel rooms also have WiFi connection.

Admission: Overall experience at IIFM felt very organised. The merit list was released on schedule, counselling instructions were clear, verification moved efficiently, and staff support during registration and orientation made joining easy.
Academic: In our college, the teachers are very experienced and really know their subjects well. Many of them hold PhDs from famous institutes, and some even worked as IFS officers before. But one thing is, the course curriculum needs to be updated with the newest trends. This way, we students can be fully ready for jobs in the industry.
Placement: The placements here are quite good. Roughly 90% of students in our batch found jobs. Someone even got a 15 LPA salary package, and on average, students got around 7.5 LPA. A lot of us got placed with livelihood missions in different states, and also in NGOs and consulting firms. For internships, about 95% of students got them, mostly in research-based organisations, NGOs, and MFIs.
Campus: Campus infrastructure is really amazing. The hostels are super good, very clean, and roomy. You get good food in the mess because our student committee looks after it. Also, there's a gym and a sports complex right on campus.

Admission: Joining this college felt simple and well planned. Seeing my name on the merit list was a relief, counselling was handled smoothly, document verification was quick with helpful staff, and registration with fee payment was clearly explained before a useful orientation.
Academic: Professors are really good. The course material is relevant, which is nice, but I think it needs more practical or application-based teaching. We mostly learn theory here; only industrial visits and a few field trips give us some real-world exposure. On the bright side, there's a very strong focus on research at our college. Passing exams is pretty easy, almost everyone gets through. Also, because the batch sizes are big, it means scoring good grades is relatively easier.
Placement: So, like, for the 21-23 batch, everyone got placed which was eighteen students in total. But honestly, the college didn't really help much with placements. Instead, they even made things harder for some students. The Placement Committee is led by a super smart professor in the college. Students are asked to run the Student Placement Committee, but they don't get much say, especially when it comes to promoting the FM branch over other chances. The highest salary someone got was 21 LPA (if they had 3 years of experience), and the lowest was 7 LPA for freshers. The average was 14.2 LPA, and the median was 12 LPA. But honestly, I doubt future batches will get such good results because they suddenly increased the batch size a lot without checking if there are enough jobs in the market. Our batch got internships and placements from places like Trove Research (now MSCI Carbon Markets), Galaxy Surfactant, Hindalco, Vedanta, PwC, KPMG, Century Textile, GAIL, The Kabadiwala, Urban Company, UP Forest Depth, Goodera, Care India, GIZ, VNV, EMC, Acuity Knowledge Partners, and Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd. For placements, companies like Morningstar Sustainalytics, SnP Global, Ramboll, Vedanta, Infosys, Hindalco, Birla States, IORA, Kansai Nerolac, and PwC came. People got roles like Consultant, Manager, and Analyst.
Campus: Everything at our college is super good, only the Wi-Fi is terrible. Our classrooms are beautiful and always get good natural light. The library is also full of books you need. The mess has all the important stuff, even a lawn to hang out if you have free time after food. The canteen here is pretty much useless, but don't worry, we have a Sanchi Parlour. It has almost everything you might want when you're hungry. Chandu Bhaiyya runs it, and he's seriously one of the best people you'll meet here.

Admission: Experience after clearing the entrance felt calm and organised. Counselling was smooth, verification staff explained fee and registration steps well, and official updates were always timely.
Academic: Our college curriculum is planned really well. Every year, we have a 20-day field visit, which is a great experience. The way they teach us here is mostly through case studies. All our teachers have lots of experience in their field and are very supportive. Plus, each student gets a faculty member as their own mentor, which is a big help.
Placement: Our college has 100% placements, which is great. Last year, students got an average salary package of about 6 LPA. Many top companies from the environment, development, and wildlife fields visit IIFM quite often to give out job offers and summer internships. We even have a placement committee that is totally run by the students themselves.
Campus: Our college building is really nice, it was even made by a famous architect. All classrooms are super modern, with projectors and speakers and everything we need. Also, there's a special computer centre for students. The hostel rooms are awesome, and they give us good LAN and Wi-Fi there. Plus, the mess food is just like home-cooked meals, which is great.

Admission: Process here felt transparent and student friendly. Application steps were clear, WAT and PI communication was prompt, verification was organised, and offer letter arrived on time.
Academic: At IIFM, the teachers are really experienced and know their subjects very well. They guide us properly so we can build a strong profile. The college really focuses on case studies, and these cases are from top global colleges like Harvard, Yale, LBS, and Wharton. It's a very good thing for our learning.
Placement: What's amazing about IIFM is their placements are always 100% since the very beginning. Our students get to work in many different places like the State Forest Departments. Some also join big Small Finance Banks or Microfinance institutions. You can also find them in State livelihood Programmes and even top NGOs. The roles we get are usually in senior management, which is great. This gives us chances in a special field, not just here in India but also internationally.
Campus: The college mess at IIFM is totally run by students, and anyone can get involved in managing it. Speaking of facilities, the classrooms here are super modern and have all the latest stuff. Plus, our students always do really well in the National Forest Meets each year, which makes the institute proud.
