Admission: The course is intense, but the material is interesting. It's tough to finish in just nine months. Most professors are friendly and some are really helpful. If you put in the effort, the exams are manageable. A few professors go above and beyond to support you when needed.
Placement: Finding placements can be tough, especially during Covid. There weren't many good companies hiring when I was looking. It's important to keep your options open and work on your CV. They don't allow internships during the course, so it's a good idea to do them before starting.
Campus: The Delhi campus is really nice. It's close to JNU and has lots of greenery, which makes it a great place to study. The library is good too. They have a great collection of books, including some rare ones that are hard to find anywhere else. The building is well-designed and detailed. Love studying here!

Admission: The teachers and classmates at this college were awesome. They really put in a lot of effort and it showed. I just wish we could learn more stuff, like current events. It would be cool if we could do more hands-on learning alongside the theory. But overall, it's a great school.
Placement: The recruitment for our batch in 2018 didn't go as we hoped. Some big media companies we wanted to work for didn't show up for hiring. But, most of us still found jobs in good media companies. I'd say around 60% of us got placed during the process. The starting salary was around Rs 15,000 per month.
Campus: The college provided us with a library, Wi-Fi, classrooms, and common hall, which was really great. The mess could use some improvement though, as there have been complaints. Hopefully, they'll make some changes for the new students. We had a lot of fun playing cricket and badminton on campus. It was a blast!

Admission: The teachers here are really nice and honest. The education you get is good, but lots of students skip class. They have stuff in the curriculum that looks good on your resume and actually helps. It's key to check in on how you're doing in college. The exams at the end of the semester are pretty easy, and most people pass with a 90% rate.
Placement: The college is great for advertising students. They help you get placed in cool companies like advertising and PR firms. You can even work in public or private communication agencies. They offer jobs like editor or reporter. The pay is good too, starting at 2 LPA and going up to 7 LPA.
Campus: The campus wasn't huge, but the facilities were great. The bathroom was clean which was nice. Some folks didn't like the food at first, but it grows on you. Personally, I enjoyed the meals in our hostel. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.

Admission: Exams are held each semester, including mid-terms for internal assessments. Mid-terms can be challenging to ace. The curriculum is solid and helps build a strong foundation. Second-year students get to work on various projects. The teaching quality is pretty good overall.
Placement: The college has a great track record in advertising placements, with around 85% of students getting jobs in advertising, PR, and corporate communication roles. You can get roles like editor or reporter after you graduate. It's cool to see so many opportunities in these fields after studying here.
Campus: The college campus is well-kept with ongoing maintenance. We have a garden, library, classrooms, dean's offices, admission and administrative departments all in one building. They also provide medical assistance, Wi-Fi, and laundry services. It's convenient having everything in one place!

The semester exams are pretty tough, but if you study hard, you can pass with no problem. Most students pass with over a 70% success rate. Overall, the teachers and professionals here really know their stuff and guide us well.
Placement: I really like Indian Institute of Mass Communication. Most of us in our batch get good jobs at cool companies. Companies like Chaloner, 24 Seven Talent, Market Pro come for placements. The highest salary is around 25 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA. On average, we get around 10 LPA. The college helps us a lot in starting our careers. They suggest roles like editor, writer, and others.
Campus: The college keeps everything in good shape with regular maintenance. Our department area has a garden, library, classrooms, dean's offices, admissions, and admin offices. They also offer medical help, Wi-Fi, and laundry services. It's all well taken care of.

Admission: I really like IIMC because they give us lots of opportunities to learn. The schedules aren't boring at all. They bring in experts from the industry to teach us. The teachers here are all experienced and well-known in the Indian media scene.
Placement: IIMC is a top-notch journalism school. Placements were pretty good for my seniors. Starting salaries in journalism aren't high, so most students got around 3 to 4 LPA. The highest package was around 11 to 12 LPA for advertising and PR. Big media companies like Times Now, Hindu, India Today come to hire students. They offer roles in print media and reporting. We all have to do internships at media companies as part of the course. The college's placement cell is super active and helps us land jobs.
Campus: I really like the infrastructure at IIMC. The college has free Wi-Fi for students, and we have some awesome media labs for journalism practice. The library is huge with top-notch media books, giving us access to info from all over the world. They take mental health seriously here there's a psychiatrist every Wednesday to help students out. The hostel and mess are great, making it feel like a second home. The single rooms with balconies and green surroundings are lovely. The boys' hostel could use more space though. Overall, it's a fantastic place to be.

Admission: The teachers are pretty good. Some of them are visiting faculty, so classes can be hit or miss. It's important to put in effort on your own. The curriculum is useful, but you really need to take charge of your own learning. Be proactive and make the most of the resources available to improve your skills.
Placement: Most students found jobs on campus until 2019. But in 2020, because of corona, placements are happening online. Once things get better, offline placements will happen. We haven't heard good news about placements yet, so it's hard to say how they're going.
Campus: The campus here has everything you need, from classrooms to labs. The infrastructure is pretty good. The canteen serves good quality food at a reasonable price. And there are beautiful gardens and everything is clean. Plus, you can enjoy nature around campus, and the staff are really helpful.

Admission: The teachers are awesome and really helpful. They teach well, but they care a lot about attendance. The stuff we do in class can go on your resume, which is cool. It's a good idea to see how hard you're working in college.
Placement: Our course had about 50 seats, and it was tough to pass 3 rounds and get into IIMC. Because of corona, the placement drive wasn't great, but some of us still got placed in media houses. Even now, the college is working hard to get placements for students. Being an IIMC student is cool because JNU is right nearby. IIMC is like the best place for journalism, and they give us lots of media exposure and take us on cool trips.
Campus: The campus has awesome facilities. When you walk in, you'll see a lovely garden and a playground. The library is nice, and the classrooms are cool with AC. The girls' hostel is pretty good overall, but the food in the mess isn't great. The vibe of the college is really cool.

Admission: A lot of students here are from the media industry. They teach us about different stuff. If you put in the effort, you'll pick up skills for later. The teachers get us ready for the real world.
Placement: A bunch of our classmates landed jobs in news channels and websites around 30%. The highest salary was Rs. 30,000 a month, while the average was Rs. 20,000. The lowest was Rs. 16,000. Big companies like Zee, Doordarshan, and ETV Bharat come to our campus for hiring. Not many students do internships because they jump into job hunting after finishing their courses. Since they're newbies, they mostly get trainee roles, not top positions. Some end up as copywriters, video editors, show producers, or social media handlers.
Campus: The college has top-notch infrastructure. Classrooms are nice and cool with AC. The library is massive with tons of books to choose from. There are over 15 newspapers to read. Wi-Fi works well. Both boys and girls have good hostel options. The food is healthy and the campus is big. We have access to a cricket ground, badminton court, and indoor games. Medical help is also available.

Admission: The teachers at IIMC really know their stuff and they're super helpful. The courses are practical and get you ready for jobs in media and communication. The exams were tough but most people passed, about 95% of us.
Placement: At IIMC, most of us got placed after graduation. Everyone also landed internships, like gigs at the Times of India as reporters. It's cool to see everyone getting job opportunities!
Campus: Studying at IIMC, we had classes in nice classrooms, but there was no Wi-Fi. The library was small, with only a few computers. The hostels were clean and had everything we needed. The food in the mess and canteen was okay. However, there were no medical facilities or sports facilities like basketball, cricket, or a gym.
