Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and really into what they do. They always show up for class and make sure it's interesting and useful. They teach us not just book stuff but also practical things, which is cool. The coding vibe at our college is awesome, and we even get to go to workshops at IIT Madras. Plus, we get to check out HPCL factories, which is pretty neat for learning.
Placement: The placements here are awesome! You just gotta work on your skills. Big companies like ONGC, HPCL, IOCL, and HCL hire students every year. Data analytics firms also show up. Lots of students with 8 SGPA or more get placed easily. It's really good!
Campus: The college has all the labs we need mechanical, electrical, computer, chemical, and petroleum. The library is great too. The hostels are big and in a good spot. There are lifts in the hostel, and every room has two students. Plus, each floor has two lounges. Cool setup!

Admission: The teachers at our college are amazing, many from top IIT's. The course is good and the exams are fair - one in the middle and one at the end of each semester. They're not too hard, and most students pass with around 90%.
Placement: The college has awesome placement opportunities, with around 90% of students getting placed. Big companies like ONGC, HPCL, IOCL, GAIL visit our campus for hiring. Almost everyone in our batch found internships in the seventh semester. The highest salary offered is 24 LPA, while the average is 9 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA.
Campus: The college doesn't have a permanent campus, so the infrastructure isn't great. But they do offer Wi-Fi, labs, and a library. There's a private hostel on campus, but the food quality isn't good and it's expensive. We do have a doctor who comes to the hostel every Saturday.

Admission: The teachers are really nice and know their stuff. The course content is good, but could use some tweaks. It's practical and gets you ready for work. Exams are okay if you go to class. Maybe they should make the last semester less busy.
Placement: Almost all students found jobs after college. The top salary is around 24 lakhs a year. The lowest is 4 lakhs. Companies like Oil India and GAIL India come for placements. Everyone gets internships in the oil and gas industry. The main job roles are executive trainees at Oil India and GAIL India.
Campus: The facilities are all there, but the hostel buildings aren't that great. The food is okay, but it's from outside vendors and not the best. The medical services are basic, but you can get discounted checkups at good hospitals like Medicover and Apollo. There aren't many sports or games available on campus.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff and are super helpful. They always push us to think creatively and work on cool projects. They make sure we're ready for the real world too. They listen to us and help out with any problems we have. It's great how they encourage questions and curiosity in class. The courses are up-to-date with what's happening in the industry. We learn the basics well and they teach us how to think critically. The exams line up with what we learn and help us apply our knowledge.
Placement: The job placements for our batch (2024) have been really great, especially with not many opportunities available. Most of us got good job offers. About 14 students from our batch got hired by big companies like IOCL and HPCL. The highest salary packages were around 17.3 LPA for chemical engineering and 20.71 LPA for petroleum engineering. Companies like Halliburton, HLS Asian, and Reliance BP also hire students from our college. They even offer internships for students to gain experience. Some students from our college do well in exams like GATE too.
Campus: IIPE is currently at Andhra University until their new campus is ready. The classrooms are big and have AC, projectors, and all we need. The labs have everything for our coursework. We're in a temporary building with conference rooms and computer labs. Hostels are shared with attached bathrooms. There are 4 hostels - 3 for guys and 1 for girls. Rooms have all we need, like beds, study tables, and storage. We also have washing machines, a gym, and more to share. The mess is clean, and we decide the menu in meetings. They have food for everyone's taste. Overall, it's a good setup for us students!

Admission: The professors here really know their stuff and are super helpful. They teach really well and you can easily talk to them. The course content is all current and will get you ready for the industry if you pay attention and stay curious in class. Exams in the semester aren't too tough if you understand the concepts and pay attention in class. Most students end up with pretty good grades.
Placement: The average pay here is about 8 LPA, with the highest going up to 25 LPA. PSU's are the main recruiters for both branches. In Chemical Engineering, companies like IOCL, HPCL, and GAIL come every year with packages around 18 LPA. For Petroleum Engineering, ONGC is the top PSU offering the best package. Besides PSU's, only a few good private companies come, but the pay isn't great. The college tries hard to get students internships, mostly at PSU's, but a lot of them end up unpaid.
Campus: The labs here are pretty good. The classrooms have nice technology, and the library has lots of books on different subjects. The college and hostels both have good wi-fi. The hostel is okay, but the food isn't great like most colleges. The sports facilities aren't great if you play a lot.

Admission: The teachers are really helpful, and most of them got their Ph.D. from universities abroad. The course is good, but it could use more industry-related stuff. We get to go on field trips to see how things work in the real world. I passed with about a 97% in my class.
Placement: Around 97% of students at our college get jobs. The highest salary offered is 26 LPA, while the lowest is 4.8 LPA. Companies like ONGC, GAIL, IOCL, and HPCL come for placements. Everyone almost gets internships, either in oil PSUs or private companies. They offer roles like senior engineer at PSUs.
Campus: Our college has AC classrooms, good Wi-Fi, and a library which is cool. The labs are just okay, not great. Each room comes with its own bathroom, study table, and chairs. The food in the mess is decent. A doctor comes to our hostel every week. We also have a sports room and a gym with a table tennis setup.

Admission: The teachers here really care about giving us a good education. The classes get us ready for jobs in the real world. The exams are fair, not too hard. If you listen in class, you'll do well in the tests. It's easy to get good grades here.
Placement: In the 2022-23 academic year, almost all of us got placed, which was awesome! The highest salary offered was 27 LPA by companies like ONGC, IOCL, and HLS. 23 out of 25 of us did internships at ONGC, which was a cool experience. Our teachers really helped us land great jobs in our 3rd and 2nd year. Besides job stuff, many of us are working on our coding skills and getting really good at it. And some of us are checking out other cool things like SPE and AAPG. It's been a good ride so far!
Campus: The college has everything we need like labs, Wi-Fi, and classrooms. But there are two buildings kinda far apart, like 400 to 500 meters. They have transport from the hostel to college, but not between the buildings. So, we gotta walk to the labs and faculty rooms.

Admission: The teachers are really helpful here. I like that there aren't too many students, so we can talk to professors one-on-one if we need help. The courses follow the GATE syllabus, so if we work hard, we can do well in the GATE exam. It's a good place to study.
Placement: Most seniors got good jobs in top PSUs like ONGC, HPCL, IOCL, GAIL, and other big companies. Almost everyone got placed. Some analytics companies also come to campus for hiring. The college offers internships to all students too.
Campus: The college hostels here are awesome, way better than any other college. I live in a twin room with enough space and my own bathroom. The Wi-Fi is really good too. The labs are cool. Basically, everything about this college is top-notch. And the library has lots of books to choose from.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and have a lot of experience. I'm studying petroleum engineering and the labs are pretty nice. The semester exams are tough, though. The pass rate is decent. They give good lecture notes and the teachers are certified with good experience.
Placement: Most students got jobs after college. The highest salary is 28 LPA, lowest is 7 LPA, and average is 11 LPA. The average package is decent, but some government jobs pay less. Teachers are certified, and labs are good. The campus is still under construction, so it's not fully ready yet.
Campus: The Wi-Fi here isn't great, it's pretty weak. But the classrooms are awesome and the hostel is nice. They've got good Wi-Fi and fun games to play. The food in the mess is good and the sports facilities are decent, though a bit disappointing.

Admission: The teachers at IIPE really know their stuff. They all have their Ph.D. and many did extra studies in other countries. Some even worked in the oil and gas industry before teaching, so they give real-life examples in class. They give assignments often and are super helpful in clearing doubts after class. You can easily talk to them. The course is up-to-date with what's happening in the industries. They even encourage us to visit companies from the 2nd year onwards. It's cool to see everything we learn in action. Exams here are no joke. You gotta study hard to keep your grades up. And they watch us closely during exams, so no cheating allowed.
Placement: IIPE has added new branches like B.Tech Mechanical and M.Sc. Geology and Earth Science, so more placements are expected in the future. Right now, only B.Tech Petroleum and B.Tech Chemical Engineering students are graduating in 2024. As of May 31, 2024, 94% of students have jobs, and placements are still happening. The highest salary for Petroleum is 20.71 LPA, and for Chemical Engineering, it's 17.3 LPA. On average, both branches get around 9 LPA. Companies like HPCL, ONGC, Shell, TCS, and many more hire from IIPE. This year, HRRL, a joint venture of HPCL and the Rajasthan government, came for placements for the first time. Every student at IIPE gets internships in top companies like HPCL, ONGC, and more.
Campus: The hostels at IIPE have 24/7 Wi-Fi and electricity. They're like private hostels with good maintenance and nice rooms for 2 students. Each room has a bathroom, cot, mattress, geyser, cupboards, mirror, and basic stuff. In the classrooms, there's AC and Wi-Fi for studying comfortably. The labs are cool with well-maintained instruments. Students do experiments with lab assistants, professors, and Ph.D. scholars. If a lab is missing, IIPE teams up with other institutes like IIT Madras, IMU Visakhapatnam. The library has 2,973 books and e-resources like Royal Society Chemistry, SPE, Wiley. You can use computers for internet and book study. And you can borrow books to read in your hostel. The mess food is clean and students get to choose the menu each semester. For medical stuff, the hostel caretaker helps sick students get to the hospital. There's an institute doctor and health insurance for emergencies. You can play sports like badminton, football, volleyball, and basketball. The institute also hosts sports tournaments. Sports are a big deal here.
