Admission: My admission experience at IIPE was well organised. Counselling steps were clear, staff helped during document verification, and registration went smoothly. Deadlines were communicated properly, so there was no confusion at any stage.

Academic: Our course curriculum is very relevant for today's jobs, just like what you find in IITs, so it prepares us well for the industry. Speaking of teachers, they are super qualified and smart, many of them studied at prestigious places like IITs and IISc. The semester exams are not too hard, they are moderate, and almost everyone passes, like 95% students usually clear them.

Placement: My Chemical Engineering department has really great placements. We had a 100% placement rate, which is super good. The internship placements were also 100%. The highest salary offered was 17.6 LPA by GAIL, and the average package students got was 9.8 LPA. The lowest one was 4.7 LPA. Lots of top companies come here for hiring, like GAIL, IOCL, HPCL, Rajasthan Refinery, Wipro, ONGC, HMEL, L&T, TCS, Halliburton, and Oil India Limited, plus many more.

Campus: Our college has really good facilities, like the Chemical Lab, Unit Operations Lab, Reaction Engineering Lab, and Heat and Mass Transfer Labs. The classrooms are modern too, with digital tools that help us learn better. About the hostel, it's excellent, and the food quality is also good. Right now, our college is at a temporary campus in Andhra University, but we will be moving to our permanent campus in July 2025.

Admission: Getting admission in IIPE was well streamlined. Counselling was organised, staff were helpful during document verification, and all notifications about deadlines arrived on time. From application to joining, everything went smoothly.

Academic: I like about my college is that our teachers are really dedicated. They always give us quality education. The curriculum they follow is made to get us ready for jobs, so we are industry-ready. Exams are not too hard, they are like medium difficulty, and the pass rate is very good here. If you just pay attention in class, you'll find the courses very useful and can easily score good marks in your semester exams.

Placement: For the academic year 2022-23, our college had really good placements. Around 95% of students got placed, and the highest salary package was 27 LPA, with big companies like ONGC, IOCL, and HLS coming to recruit. What's also great is that 23 out of 25 students got to intern at ONGC. Our faculty members play a big part, helping students even from 2nd and 3rd year get important roles. Many students here are also focusing a lot on improving their coding skills, and some have become really good at it. Plus, we look into other areas too, like SPE and AAPG.

Campus: Sometimes it's a bit of a walk because our college has two separate buildings, and they're like 400 to 500 meters away from each other. We do have transport from the hostel to the college campus, which is good. But between these two main buildings, there's no transportation given, so students have to walk to get to the labs and also to meet teachers in their rooms. Other than that, the college makes sure we have all the important stuff like labs, good Wi-Fi, and proper classrooms.

Admission: My joining process at IIPE was smoother than I expected. The application steps were easy, selection updates were clear, and document verification and registration moved quickly. Regular communication made the process stress free.

Academic: Teachers are really smart and know everything about their subjects. They are also very friendly, so you can easily talk to them about your studies or even personal stuff. The best part of academics is probably our course syllabus, it's very new and helps us get ready for jobs after our 4th year. Exams for the semester are not too difficult if you study for about three weeks in three months.

Placement: Every student here gets an internship, which is nice. Companies like HPCL, ONGC, and other petroleum ones take us. Talking about placements, they are really good. More than 95% of students get placed. The average salary is around 10 lakhs a year, and the lowest package is about 4 lakhs per year. The remaining students either go for higher studies at IIM or do their Masters abroad. Many big government companies, called PSUs, come to recruit from our college.

Campus: Talking about our college facilities, they're pretty good. Even though our main campus is still under construction and will be ready by June 2025, the current arrangements are excellent. So yeah, infrastructure is a small problem because of the ongoing work. Our hostel rooms are nice, they are all 2-seater rooms. For sports, it's a developing area for us. We use Andhra University's grounds, so we have a bit less freedom there. But we don't let that stop us from playing! We have an annual inter-IIPE sports meet and also join All India University-level tournaments.

Admission: My admission at IIPE through JoSAA felt very organised. Counselling was easy to understand, document verification was quick, and staff guided us clearly. Registration and fee payment steps were well communicated, and orientation helped a lot in settling in.

Academic: Our teachers here are super helpful and always around if students need anything. They make sure all our doubts are cleared. Also, these excellent faculty members give us really good chances, like doing projects and other activities. The semester exams are not too tough, kind of medium level. To pass each semester, you need to score 40 out of 100 marks.

Placement: When it comes to placements here, for the chemical branch, about 90% of students get placed. The highest package went up to 17.5 LPA, with companies like IOCL and HPCL offering it. Most people get around 8 LPA to 8.5 LPA, and even the lowest package is good, like 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Plus, everyone gets internships, 100% of us, in big PSUs like HPCL, IOCL, BPCL HRRL, CPCL, GAIL, ONGC, and more. Lots of us get jobs in companies like IOCL, HPCL, HRRL, and others. For AI-related courses, there are cool and unique roles too, like AI Researcher. Students here also get placed in IT, consulting, and manufacturing industries.

Campus: Talking about IIPE, right now it's in Visakhapatnam, but this isn't the permanent campus. The actual campus is being built in Anakapalli. It's not fully ready, but I think by mid-2025, it will be almost finished. Our hostel is good, with all daily facilities and Wi-Fi too. We have labs for all subjects, and the classrooms and library are also good. The college also gives medical facilities. The mess is quite expensive right now, maybe because we are not in our permanent campus yet. Every year, there are sports meets and different sports leagues too.

Admission: Getting admission at IIPE was a smooth experience. The online portal was easy to use, merit list checking was clear, and document verification after counselling was quick. Staff were supportive, and updates about fees and next steps came on time.

Academic: For exams, our college has two every semester. We have a mid-semester exam for 30 marks and an end-semester exam for 50 marks. These exams are not too hard, like medium difficult. Almost 90% of students clear them easily. Also, our teachers are really good, many of them come from top IITs. The course material is also very useful and up-to-date.

Placement: Placements in our college are pretty solid, like around 90% students get jobs. Big government companies, you know, PSUs like ONGC, HPCL, IOCL, GAIL and all, they come to hire from our campus. The highest salary someone got was 24 LPA. Average package is 9 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. Plus, almost everyone, 99% of students, got an internship in their seventh semester itself.

Campus: At our college, the infrastructure isn't very good, mostly because we don't have our own permanent campus yet. Even though we lack that, they do provide Wi-Fi, labs, and a library for students. We have a private hostel available right now. The mess charges are quite high there, but sadly, the food quality is very bad. A doctor also visits our hostel every Saturday, which is a helpful facility.

Admission: Communication during my admission process at IIPE was excellent. Updates about counselling and registration were shared on time, document verification was efficient, and joining felt stress free because everything was well informed.

Academic: Teachers here are really good and smart. Most of them have done their PhDs, and many even studied more abroad after that. Some even worked in big oil and gas companies, so they share real-life examples during lectures, which is super helpful. They give us assignments all the time, and most professors are very friendly and clear our doubts even after class. It's easy to talk to them about anything. The curriculum in IIPE is up-to-date and totally matches what the industry needs right now. The college also pushes us to go on industrial visits from our second year itself, which helps us see how things work in real companies. Exams at IIPE are pretty hard, so you have to study regularly if you want good marks. Also, they watch exams very strictly, so cheating is almost impossible.

Placement: In IIPE, placements are getting better. Since they added new courses like B.Tech Mechanical and M.Sc. Geology and Earth Science, we are all hoping for even more companies to come in the future. For the batch passing out in 2024, only B.Tech Petroleum and B.Tech Chemical Engineering students are there. As of May 31st this year, a good 94% of students got placed already, and more placements are still happening. For petroleum branch, the highest package was 20.71 LPA, and for chemical it was 17.3 LPA. The average salary for both branches is around 9 LPA. Many big companies come for recruitment, like HPCL, ONGC, Shell, IOCL, TATA Group, TCS, Reliance BP, and a bunch of others like Adani Gas and Accenture. This year, HRRL, a joint venture of HPCL and Rajasthan government, came for placements for the very first time. And for internships, all of us students get to intern at core industry companies like HPCL, ONGC, IOCL, GAIL, and HLS, which is great for practical experience.

Campus: Our college hostels are pretty good, with 24/7 Wi-Fi and electricity always on at IIPE. Since it's a temporary campus for now, the hostels are private ones that IIPE rents. They are really well-maintained and feel premium. Each room has space for two students max and comes with its own attached bathroom. Inside the rooms, you'll find a cot, mattress, bucket, geyser, cupboards, mirror, and all the other basic things you need. Classrooms here have AC, so it's always comfortable to study, and Wi-Fi is available for us students too. For labs, even though IIPE is on a temporary campus, most of the labs are already set up, but a few are still coming. All the lab instruments are kept in good condition, and we get help from lab assistants, professors, and even PhD scholars during experiments. This makes labs really interesting, and we can try new things under their guidance. If any lab is not here, IIPE ties up with other good places like IIT Madras and IMU Visakhapatnam to make sure we get what we need. The library has about 2,973 books and also gives us access to many online things like Royal Society Chemistry, SPE, and Wiley. There are computers in the library if we want to use the internet and read books at the same time. We can easily take books from the library to study in our hostels. When it comes to mess food, it's very hygienic, and the best part is we students get to decide the menu ourselves every semester, so we always have a good variety. For medical help, if any student falls sick, the hostel caretaker steps in to take them to the hospital and sort things out. IIPE also has its own doctor for regular check-ups, and everyone gets a Health Insurance card for any serious medical emergencies. Lastly, for sports, we can borrow things like bats, badminton rackets, footballs, volleyballs, and basketballs. The college often arranges different sports tournaments, so the sports scene here is quite good.

Admission: Joining IIPE felt welcoming and organised. Staff were cooperative during document checks and final registration, and the pre orientation session cleared many doubts. The entire admission process felt professional and smooth.

Academic: Our curriculum here is actually very good. The syllabus is completely made for the GATE exam, which is a big plus for us. Teachers also help us a lot with everything. Semester exams are not easy at all; they are tough, just like what you expect after clearing JEE Advanced. But still, 80% of students manage to pass them. Overall, we are quite happy with the whole curriculum setup.

Placement: In our college, about 70% of students found placements in the 2023-2024 batch. The highest salary package touched 20.70 LPA this year, while the lowest was 5 LPA, with an average package of 8 LPA. Many big companies like Halliburton, Wipro, HLS, Asian, Quant Phi, Worley, and Reliance came for recruitment. What's good is that a lot of us, almost 80%, also got internships at ONGC.

Campus: My college has excellent facilities overall. We are staying in private hostels because right now, we dont have our own permanent campus. These hostels are really good, with super fast Wi-Fi and well-equipped labs. Also, in the hostel itself, you can find gym facilities and lots of sports equipment to use.

Admission: Getting into IIPE was easier than I expected. The online application was simple, counselling was well managed, and staff support during document verification made registration easy. Clear communication throughout made joining hassle free.

Academic: In my batch, we have a really good pass percentage, around 97%, which is great. Our college also makes sure students get real-world experience by taking us on site visits to industries. About the teachers, they are very helpful, and most of them have their PhDs from foreign universities. The course syllabus itself is good, but it should really be updated to keep up with what the industry wants these days.

Placement: In 2023, about 97% of students got jobs, which is great. The highest salary offered was 26 lakhs per year, and the lowest was 4.8 lakhs per year. Top companies like ONGC, GAIL, IOCL, and HPCL hired from here. Almost 100% of us also got internships, mainly in oil PSUs and other private firms. Some even got senior engineer roles in these PSUs.

Campus: Our college has really good facilities like AC classrooms, fast Wi-Fi, and a library for all students. Talking about labs, they are just alright but not too great. For hostel life, every room gets an attached bathroom, a bed, and a table with chairs. Mess food is also decent, and a doctor visits our hostel every week. Plus, we have a sports room and a gym where we can play table tennis.

Admission: Applying to IIPE was a decent and smooth experience. Counselling rounds were organised, staff helped during document verification, and registration was simple with clear instructions.

Academic: In my college, the teachers are super helpful and really put in the effort for us. They hardly ever skip class, and they make sure classes are fun and we learn a lot. Not just book knowledge, but they also teach us practical stuff, which is super useful. Our coding scene is also really good here. We get chances to go to workshops at IIT Madras and even visit HPCL factories, which is a great way to learn things hands-on.

Placement: Our college has really good placements, no doubt. Many big companies like ONGC, HPCL, IOCL, and HCL come here every year to hire. We also see data analytics companies coming for recruitment. The percentage of students getting placed is very high, especially for those who score above 8 SGPA, they get placed super easily. Just remember, to crack these placements, you really need to work on your smart skills.

Campus: At our college, we have many labs like mechanical, electrical, computer, chemical, and even petroleum labs, plus a good library. The hostels here are super spacious, and the college location is really nice too. You'll find lifts in the hostel building, and each room is made for two students. Plus, every floor has two lounge areas for students to chill.

Admission: My admission at IIPE went very smoothly. Post JEE counselling was well managed, seat allotment was easy, and document verification was systematic. Staff helped with registration and fee payment, and orientation reduced all initial stress.

Academic: I really like about this college is how experienced the faculty is. Our teachers are super helpful and they know so much. They always push us to try new projects and think differently, not just stick to old ways. They also make sure we are ready for the real world and jobs after college. The professors here truly care about us students and always listen carefully to our worries and problems. They never mind if you ask questions or have doubts about the lessons. The course content is always updated with what's new in the industry. They teach all the basic things clearly, which helps us to think better and solve problems. Even the semester exams are based on what they teach in class, and these exams really help us use what we have learned.

Placement: The placements for our 2024 batch were really good, even when finding jobs was tough everywhere. Most students managed to get nice offers. For chemical engineering, the highest package went up to 17.3 LPA, and for petroleum engineering, it was even better at 20.71 LPA. What's also great is that 14 students from our batch got placed in big government companies like IOCL and HPCL. Many other major oil and gas companies, including Halliburton, HLS Asian, Reliance BP, and Total Energies, also come to our campus to recruit students from IIPE. Besides job placements, some of these good and well-known companies, like Halliburton, have started offering internships to current IIPE students so we can get good work experience and industry knowledge. Our students also often rank well in exams like GATE in their respective fields.

Campus: IIPE is right in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, which is a good location. Right now, our college is inside the Andhra University campus because our main building is still being made. But the good thing is, the college makes sure our studies don't get stuck because of this temporary setup. Our classrooms are big and have AC, plus projectors and everything else needed for lessons. We also have good labs with all the instruments we need for our course work. Even though it's a temporary place, there are proper conference rooms and computer labs available too. For hostels, it's double-sharing rooms, and each room comes with an attached bathroom. There are 4 hostels in total: 3 for boys and 1 for girls. Rooms have all the basic stuff like lights, fans, study tables, beds, cupboards, and shelves to keep our things. Plus, we get washing machines, a common TV, a gym, sports equipment, and induction stoves to share. The mess is inside the hostels and they clean it regularly to keep it hygienic. The best part is students get to decide the mess menu, and they have regular meetings to sort out any food problems. They really try to include different types of food for everyone.
