Admission: Clarity defined my IISc application experience. The online system was straightforward, merit list announcements were prompt, counselling and document verification were smooth, registration was quick, and orientation helped settle everything efficiently.
Academic: Course curriculum is really relevant, and the institute conducts many good activities. The teachers here are super skilled and very cooperative. They have loads of experience and are always helpful, plus they use different ways to teach us. Good thing, the semester exams are also not that difficult.
Placement: Many big companies come to our institute for hiring students. This is why about 75% of students from my department get placed here. For packages, the highest someone got was 8 LPA, the average was 6 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA.
Campus: Our department has good facilities and infrastructure, seriously. The classrooms and labs here are always clean and comfy for us. We also get Wi-Fi access, which is super handy for studies. Plus, they have good sports and medical facilities available for everyone. And the library? It's full of so many books to read.

Admission: Sequence after selection at IISc was streamlined. Offer letters and verification details arrived on time, registration counters handled tasks efficiently, and pre-joining orientation outlined next steps clearly.
Academic: My teachers here are quite helpful and know alot, they can easily solve any problem you have. But getting through the two-semester exams is very tough, the questions they ask are really hard. This master's degree course usually lasts for 1 to 2 years.
Placement: Many big companies like TCS, Wipro, and Accenture visit our college for placements, and they also provide good internship chances for students. For admission, students need to submit important documents like their qualification certificate, degree, LC, and mark sheets from 10th and 12th class.
Campus: There are so many facilities like good classrooms, labs, a big library, clean bathrooms, and even a lift. We also have a nice garden, a gymkhana, and drinking water machines for everyone. The faculty here often organises different sports and many other events for all students to enjoy. Plus, the food in our canteen is really tasty and quite healthy for us.

Admission: Experience at IISc during admission was surprisingly smooth. After applying, merit list checking was easy, campus document verification was well-managed with helpful staff, registration was clear, and orientation gave a solid overview, streamlining the entire journey.
Academic: Our college teachers are really good and know their stuff well. All of them have PhD degrees, and they're super cooperative and responsible with us students. We also get to do lots of extracurricular activities here. The exam system is semester-based; every year we have two CA tests and two main semester-end exams. Plus, every single subject includes practical work, which means we do assignments and projects.
Placement: Placements here are really excellent, I must say. So many companies come for jobs, much more than other colleges around. You'll see big names like LnT, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Jindal Steel, Wipro, TCS, and A2Z Solutions visiting us. The college also has a special placement cell. They do a great job in helping students get ready for these opportunities and land good jobs.
Campus: The course curriculum here is really good, especially for my accounts and tax subjects. They covered everything in a lot of detail, which was super helpful. We also had regular classes that helped us a lot as we were just coming from school. Exams are held every semester, so we have internal tests twice a year. When it comes to the hostel, the food is really great, a solid 9 out of 10. Gym facilities are also quite good, 8 out of 10. The hostel building and other general facilities get a 7 out of 10. Strictness is like 5 out of 10, not too strict, but sometimes some rules can make students feel a bit aggressive.

Admission: Path to IISc admission involved rigorous stages. After clearing the entrance and interviews, the merit list arrived promptly, document verification was detailed but organized, and provisional admission with fee payment flowed smoothly into registration and orientation.
Academic: Teachers are super helpful and always ready to assist with our studies. They're all highly qualified, many with Masters degrees from really good universities. What's cool is they really focus on making us industry-ready. The curriculum for my course is very relevant, preparing us well for industry visits and all. Now, about exams, some semester papers can be really tough to clear, with only 34% passing, but the teachers do offer a lot of extra help then. On the other hand, the exams for this particular course are quite easy, leading to a high pass percentage of 80%. All our teachers are so knowledgeable and have amazing teaching skills.
Placement: At IISC Bangalore, around 60% of students from my course found placements, which is quite good. The salary packages offered for us ranged from 3 LPA as the lowest to 20 LPA as the highest, with the average being 4 LPA to 5 LPA. More than half, over 50%, of students in this course also got internships. Many students, roughly 40% across the college, secured placements in research programs. The main companies that hired were from research and information departments. Overall, our college provides average placement chances for students.
Campus: The facilities and infrastructure here are pretty nice. Students can use Wi-Fi, we have proper classrooms, and a good library is also available. The food made in the college is also of good quality. For health issues, medical facilities are there. And for fun, sports and games are also played.

Admission: Experience of applying for IISc was smooth overall. The online portal was user-friendly, steps from document submission to offer letter were clear, and post-selection registration with verification was efficient, supported by consistent communication.
Academic: Our teachers are first and foremost researchers, then professors. They have so much knowledge. These teachers also let us come to their lab for doubts, especially during lecture times. The courses they teach are very useful and help students get ready for the industry. But, the biggest issue is with exams. We have exams almost every week, sometimes 1 to 3 times. The exam pressure is seriously too much here. It can get boring when you are always writing and getting ready for exams. On the bright side, over 99% of students pass without needing any re-exams.
Placement: For M.Sc Chemical Science, the job scene here is not that great because it's a very new course. Only about 10% of students actually get placed, mostly because many prefer to go for a PhD instead. The highest salary someone got was around 13 LPA, with the lowest being 3 LPA, and the average salary package is 8 LPA. Most of the companies that come for recruitment are related to batteries; for instance, last year two students got jobs at Ola. If you are looking for internships, you usually have to apply to other institutes like IITs and IISERs, where many students get their internships. For your M.Sc project, you'll join a professor's lab at IISc to do research work with them.
Campus: The classrooms are super modern, they are actually like seminar halls. Our labs are also very advanced. The Wi-Fi speed is good too, usually around 100 Mbps. The JRD Tata library is excellent and it is open 24x7, only closed on Sundays. Every student gets their own single room in the hostel here. For food, we have five messes, two serve non-veg and three serve veg options. There are also two canteens for more food choices. If you get sick, there is a health center with very kind doctors and nurses. For all kinds of sports and games, we have a gymkhana.

Admission: Entry into this institute was well-organized. The online application portal was user-friendly, and once selected, the schedule for document verification and fee payment was clearly outlined. Staff were very supportive during registration, patiently guiding us through the final steps before orientation.
Academic: In my course, the teachers are quite helpful and they have good teaching qualities. But honestly, sometimes they are not very knowledgeable about everything. The course curriculum is really relevant for today's jobs and makes us ready for the industry. Our semester exams are pretty easy. Because of this, more than 95% of students pass and get good marks.
Placement: For my course, around 80% of students get internships. Placements are also good for our course. The top salary offered was 10 LPA, but the average package is just 4 LPA. Most of the companies that come for recruitment are Indian.
Campus: In my department, the facilities and infrastructure are really good. We pretty much have everything students need, including good medical and sports facilities for everyone. The quality of coding here is also good. Just one thing, Wi-Fi is not available for my course.

Admission: Efficiency stood out during my IISc admission. The application system was simple, interview calls were prompt, campus verification was organized, staff were cooperative, and final registration enabled a seamless transition.
Academic: Faculty here is really top-notch and super motivated. They are like superheroes for us students. You can always go to any teacher for clarifications because they are very open-minded and sensible. Every teacher has their own lab too, where they do all their research work. With so much experience, they never disappoint us when giving guidance for our project work.
Placement: IISc is mostly about research, so a lot of students here want to study more instead of getting a job right away. Even though we have a good placement cell that helps students, not many go for placements. Students can apply for placements in their last semester if they have enough credits. Last year, only 6 students tried for jobs, and 5 of them got placed with an average salary of 15 lacs per year. Most other students either stayed at IISc for their Masters or went for a Ph.D. in their subject. It's really cool because out of 100 students, 60 got into top international universities in places like the USA, Europe, and Australia for their Ph.D. to do more research. These universities include big names like University of Michigan, Oxford University, Caltech, and University of Los Angeles.
Campus: University has super good hostel facilities. Hostels are divided into blocks, and for UG students, it's E, U, and S blocks. Rooms have everything you need like beds, fans, cupboards, and lights. In E block, two people share a room, but in U and S blocks, you can get a single room. They assign rooms randomly on the first day you come to campus, and it's super cheap, just 5000 rupees a month. The hostels are right in the middle of campus, so classrooms are very close. And the food here is also really good. We have five messes: A and B for North Indian (veg and non-veg), C and D for South Indian (veg and non-veg), and E mess which has a mix of everything. Students themselves decide the menu through a mess committee. They give us four meals every day: breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. For festivals, they make special dishes, plus desserts and drinks.

Admission: Structure of IIScs admission steps was very organized. Online application clarity, timely merit lists, efficient verification and registration, and helpful staff support made onboarding smooth and confidence-inspiring.
Academic: I like for course is that the curriculum is very relevant, so it really prepares us well for industry visits. The teachers here are very helpful, qualified, and they know a lot about their subjects. Their teaching quality is also super good. For the semester exams in my course, they are not too tough, and because of this, about 70% of students pass.
Placement: Placements for my course are quite good here, with a high percentage of students getting placed. Many top recruiting companies are interested in hiring from our program. The salary packages offered usually range from 3 LPA, which is the lowest, up to 16 LPA. Also, a lot of students, around 80%, manage to get internships in big companies like Wipro and even Railways.
Campus: Students get Wi-Fi, nice classrooms, and a big library here. The food in the college canteen is also very tasty. They also provide medical facilities for everyone. Plus, students here play lots of sports and games.

Admission: System followed by IISc admissions worked smoothly. The application portal was clear, interview and merit list communication was timely, verification was efficient, and staff ensured seamless onboarding through to orientation.
Academic: The teachers here are really helpful, to be honest. Many of them actually come from top research institutes globally, which is cool. They teach most of the courses really well here. The curriculum is set up so you are super ready for a future in academia. Exams can feel difficult, but it's usually simple to pass them if you just follow along. No one I know has ever failed a course here.
Placement: From my experience, our college has a placement cell, but I haven't personally used it. We get many good companies coming for placements, for example, Airbus. About internships, students can easily do them for three months without any special permission. For longer internships, you just need to get permission. I'm not sure about the stipend amount because most Maths students here usually don't choose to do internships. Since I also haven't done any internships, I can't give much detail about them.
Campus: The campus Wi-Fi works great in all the main places. We have one of India's biggest libraries here, plus some really top-notch research facilities. Classrooms are quite simple, but they get the job done for sure. Our hostel rooms are also basic, you get a shelf, a cupboard, and a study table, but for the price, they're actually pretty good. And let me tell you, IISc has the best messes in the whole country! There are five messes with so many different food options. The menu changes a lot, and most of the food items are just amazing.

Admission: Depth of the IISc admission process was notable. Entrance tests and interviews were demanding yet fair, selection communication was prompt, and verification with registration was clearly guided by supportive staff.
Academic: At our college, we have plenty of teachers, so there's no issue with how many students are there per teacher. Almost all the faculty I've met are really good and qualified in their subjects. They know a lot. You can talk to them easily too; they are very approachable. Just send them an email, and you can meet them almost anytime. Plus, they use the best ways to teach us, which helps a lot with studying.
Placement: Placements at IISc are much better these days, especially after they started the campus placement cell. The average package here is around 25 LPA, which is quite good. But you will notice that the placement percentage is a bit low, and that is because most students from IISc actually choose to go for higher studies. I am also one of them, planning for more studies.
Campus: At our college, the campus setup is pretty chill. We have comfy furniture and 24/7 Wi-Fi access all over. The library is awesome, stacked with so many books and journals for us to study. Labs also have all the tools we need. Plus, sports and medical facilities here are good. Now, about the hostel, it's just average. And the mess food, honestly, it's neither tasty nor hygienic.
