Admission: Most professors are helpful and supportive, which is great. However, a few can be a bit full of themselves. The course curriculum is awesome it's practical and relevant. You can learn a ton and it'll help you out later on. The semester exams are pretty challenging. The courses are top-notch, taught by excellent faculty. We used to get hands-on experience, but because of COVID, things are more limited now.
Placement: The college doesn't help with job placements, so if you want that, go to an engineering college. But if research is your thing, IISER Berhampur is a good pick for you.
Campus: The college has Wi-Fi, a library, and computer labs which is cool. But the hostels are cramped and don't get much fresh air or sunlight.

Admission: I really like IISER Berhampur because the teachers are top-notch. They come from different places around the world and have great qualifications. The courses are designed to prepare us for jobs in the industry. The exams are challenging, but that's a good thing. The education here is top-notch because the teachers are chosen from a national exam.
Placement: IISER is a great place for research, not just for getting a job. It's not focused on Engineering like other colleges. There are lots of career paths to choose from. You can have a successful and respected career here. You might even get a chance to work with big companies like Google and Adobe for research. Around 85% of students do internships at different places.
Campus: IISER has top-notch facilities in India. The campus has modern classrooms, labs, and a library with tons of books and journals. The whole place has Wi-Fi and fast internet. The hostel rooms are nice and the food is good quality. Plus, they've got all the sports and games you could want.

Admission: I really like IISER because the teachers here are top-notch. It's a really important college in India. The classes and teaching are amazing. The exams are just right, not too hard or too easy. Most students pass with flying colors. We all got in through a tough national exam. The teachers are super smart.
Placement: IISERs are all about excellence, not just placements. But some students do go for placements. Big companies like Google, Microsoft, and Adobe come for placements, along with research companies. Around half of students land internships in research centers, universities, and other companies.
Campus: IISER Berhampur has top-notch infrastructure. They've got everything you need fast Wi-Fi, a library stocked with all the books you'll ever need, and access to loads of journals online and offline. The food in the mess is amazing, and they've got great medical facilities, sports, and games too. Each hostel has a basketball court, and there are indoor games available as well.

Admission: I really like Pune campus at IISER. It's one of the top IISERs. The college has a great course structure and partnerships with universities abroad. IISER is a great place for studying science.
Placement: IISER is awesome for studying science. It's even better than IITs for becoming a scientist. You get to do lots of research and pick your major in the 3rd year. IISER is a great place to become a top-notch scientist.
Campus: The mess has specific times for meals, but it's right next to a canteen that serves food all day. They have breakfast, regular meals, and snacks at different times. The place is great for science and math students.

Admission: The professors at this college are really top-notch. They come from awesome schools worldwide. They teach really well. The exams each semester aren't too tough because they give you such a good education. The teachers and everyone else on campus are super nice and always ready to help out.
Placement: Most students here end up getting internships, which is cool. IISER isn't really known for placements, though. It's all about getting a top-notch education and contributing to the country. You can make big bucks after graduating from here. It's all about research. Once you're done, you can work at any research center worldwide.
Campus: The facilities here are top-notch, better than any other colleges in India. They have a five-year integrated BSMS course. The campus is fully residential and Wi-Fi enabled, with fast internet. Each hostel has a computer lab, library, and food. The food is really good. There are medical facilities, sports, and a gym available too.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome, they all studied abroad and really know their stuff. The first and second years cover basic science stuff well. Then we get to pick our major for more in-depth study. Exams are tough but they help us learn and show what we know about science.
Placement: In my course, a good chunk of students (around half) land internships abroad. And from that group, half already have jobs lined up. The rest are either going for a Ph.D. or doing post-doctorate studies. This college is big on research. The top salary offered is about 46 LPA, while the lowest is Rs.37,000 per year which is what Ph.D. students get as a stipend for working on projects with professors.
Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi and really cool labs. Our hostels even have computer labs and gyms. There's a library super close to our hostel, right on campus. Our rooms are awesome we get Ethernet, beds, and closets. The rooms are big and bright with a nice view of nature.

Admission: The teachers here are mostly nice and good at teaching, except for a couple of them. Exams in the semester aren't too hard. If you go to classes and study seriously, you'll pass without a problem. The questions stick to what's taught in class. Grading is fair most of the time, but sometimes it's a bit unclear, depending on the teacher. But, don't stress about grades too much. Just focus on studying, and you'll do fine. Just trust the teacher with the grades.
Placement: IISER isn't the place for placements. It's more about preparing you for research, especially a Ph.D. Some students might go into teaching. Chemistry students could aim for pharma jobs, but that's on them, not the college. Don't expect great job placements at IISER. If you work hard, you could end up in a solid Ph.D. program.
Campus: The college's infrastructure is decent, not the best but works fine. The hostel rooms are really nice, most of them are singles. The labs are good, but we don't have a permanent campus yet. We have to travel 25 km to a transit campus for labs until next semester. Recently, we've been having a lot of Wi-Fi problems, hopefully they'll fix it soon. The library needs more books for sure. Classes are held in different places like the dining hall, guest house, and health center until the academic block is ready in future semesters. The temporary places are nice though. Food quality has been going downhill, but they promised to change the mess contractor soon. Hopefully, it'll improve. There are sports facilities both inside and outside the hostel. Inside, we have a gym, basketball and badminton courts. Outside, there's football and tennis. They're also building a cricket stadium.

Admission: The teachers are awesome and know their stuff. They're nice and like to chat with students. The education here is top-notch and all the courses are right on track with the program. The semesters can be challenging, but it's all about how well you grasp the material. Getting good grades is doable since it's all based on how everyone in the class is doing.
Placement: At this Science research institute, students usually go abroad or to other higher institutions for their PhD and post-doc degrees before looking for a job. After getting a BSMS degree here, there aren't any job placements available. Campus placement isn't a thing either. But those who do their PhD and post-doc end up becoming research scientists or professors at good institutions.
Campus: The college has a great library, Wi-Fi, computer labs, and Science labs for students. The hostels are comfy and have first aid kits. They serve three meals a day, but we need to get snacks from the canteen. There's a medical block on campus and a hospital nearby for emergencies. We have cultural and sports events every year that everyone loves.

Admission: The professors at IISER Berhampur are really good. They know their stuff and most of them studied abroad. Each semester, we gotta earn credits to pass our exams. It's a cool system.
Placement: At IISER Berhampur, the main focus is on research, not placements. Most students aim for Ph.D. in top institutions in India or abroad. Lots of internship chances are available because IISERs have partnerships with many institutions, even overseas. Recently, a senior got into Ph.D. at Cornell University in the US. Many friends have done internships at places like CSIR, IITs, and IISC.
Campus: Classes are happening in the temporary campus right now, but next year we're moving to the new campus. The temporary campus has awesome stuff like 24/7 Wi-Fi, electricity, and water. The labs are even better than some IITs! We've got a great library with access to top journals and research papers. Hostels are decent, but we have to share a room with one other person. In the new campus, we'll have single rooms in the hostel. The food in the mess is good, and sports facilities will be top-notch in the new campus. Plus, we have medical staff on campus for emergencies. Overall, it's a pretty cool place to study.
