Admission: The teachers here are really good at teaching and they prepare us well for the industry. The exams are fair and we usually get good grades. Senior students from different departments like Biology, Chemistry, Math, and Physics help us out with study sessions.

Placement: The placements could be better. Students land internships at top institutes like IIT, IISC, and NITS. This course is great for PhD studies. Many students go on to do their PhD abroad in countries like Germany and France. There are also opportunities for PhD positions from this college.

Campus: They've got everything covered Wi-Fi, library access, a cool lab, and classrooms with good ventilation. Plus, the food options are great. You can eat in the mess or grab something from the eateries on campus. And if you're craving something specific, you can always order through Zomato or Swiggy. It's super convenient!

Admission: The teachers here are a mixed bag. Some are super friendly, while others keep their distance. Each teacher decides what to teach in their course, and they can change the grades each year. The first two years are a breeze if you put in the work. The next three years, when you focus on your major, are more challenging but still manageable. Most students pass without a problem. The course material is really current and keeps up with the latest research.

Placement: IISER Mohali is different from regular engineering colleges because they focus more on research. Most students here choose to do PhDs instead of aiming for placements. Even though they don't offer packages, some students land jobs in R&D departments. A lot of students also want to become professors or work in education. You can even leave with a BS degree without finishing the whole BSMS course. They hook you up with internships for research opportunities in India and overseas.

Campus: The lifestyle here is not super fancy, but the hostel and mess at IISER Mohali are pretty good compared to other colleges in India. There are different mess options, some you subscribe to and some you use coupons for. The food is okay and they change up the menu often. The Wi-fi speed can be fast, like 200-300 mbps in some spots, but it depends on how close you are to the routers. The library at IISER Mohali is huge, 7 stories tall, and it's air conditioned. Some floors are open all night. There are two buildings just for labs and classrooms. Lectures happen in a complex with about 7 halls of different sizes. There's a big health center, but it's not used much. You can get basic healthcare there and see therapists if you need to. The two canteens are alright, they do the job. There's a sports complex and a community center. The sports facilities are good for tennis, volleyball, cricket, football, badminton, and basketball. But for table tennis, kabaddi, and other sports, not so much. Overall, life at IISER Mohali is comfy and good enough.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and know their stuff. They all have Ph.Ds and some even did post-doc work. The teaching is okay, nothing mind-blowing. The courses are great if you're thinking about studying abroad. They really prepare you well for the industry.

Placement: Our institute doesn't have a placement cell, but some students do end up getting jobs in various industries. Like my friend who got a job at Reddy's laboratories. Most students here go for a Ph.D. after finishing their course, often abroad.

Campus: The Wi-Fi at our school is okay, but it can be spotty sometimes. The labs are pretty good, and we have big lecture halls. The library is huge with lots of books, and they'll get you any book you need. The food options are diverse, and we have good sports and medical facilities too.

Admission: The teachers here are super friendly. They really challenge us with high teaching standards that make us think hard. The course covers all kinds of research methods from everywhere. If you stick to the course material, the exam is a breeze and most people pass. The pass rate varies by course, but it's usually about 30%.

Placement: The course focuses on research, so we don't really get prepared for jobs in industries or product-based roles. Around 90% of students here end up pursuing further studies. Our college is a top science institute in India, so a lot of students choose to study abroad after graduating.

Campus: At first, you'll have a roommate in your room. Each room has LAN and bunk beds. The bathrooms are usually clean. The food in the dining hall is pretty good compared to other colleges in India. There are two cafeterias that serve lunch, dinner, and snacks all day. The health center is open 24/7 in the dorms. You can play almost any sport or game here.

Admission: The professors here are really smart with PhDs and stuff. They make good tests and teach well. The classes get super interesting once you pick your major. The first couple years set you up for the rest. By the end, you're ready for the real world.

Placement: Our group hasn't graduated yet, so no placements or salary info yet. Many students go for PhDs and you can get JRF scholarships. The top recruiters for us are usually application-based industries. They don't offer roles or salary packages here. But almost all students get internships every year.

Campus: The classrooms have AC and Wi-Fi, which is great. Our library is top-notch and always clean. Third-year students get their own rooms in the mixed-gender hostels. The Wi-Fi works there too. The food in the mess is just okay, but you can always eat elsewhere. Our college offers a wide range of sports to choose from.

Admission: The professors here are all active scientists. They do research and teach at the same time. They not only cover the course material but also share their research with us. The curriculum is great we learn about every scientific field in the first two years. By then, we figure out what we like and can pick our major from the third year onwards.

Placement: At IISER Mohali, most of us aren't here for big paychecks or jobs. We're all about learning and digging into research. It's cool to see that about 80% of students end up scoring a PhD spot in big-name places like MIT, Stanford, and Howard. In my senior group, 136 out of 174 students jetted off to do their PhD overseas! The rest are rocking their PhD programs at top Indian spots like IISC Bangalore, TIRF, IITs, and CSIR. It's a real hub for research minds!

Campus: IISERs in India are pretty new, so they've got all the latest tech in their buildings. The hostels are tall, with 8 floors and 4 lifts each. Wi-Fi is awesome all over campus, super fast at 300 Mbps. Each hostel has its own mess with different yummy food options. There's a cool football stadium, 4 badminton courts, a basketball court, tennis court, and 2 volleyball courts. They even have their own hospital with top-notch doctors. Food is tasty, facilities are great overall, it's a solid place to study.

Admission: The teachers at this college are all super qualified with PhDs and experience from top Indian or foreign universities. They teach really well. The classes aren't too crowded, so you get lots of attention. The labs are top-notch and you get to work in them, which is awesome.

Placement: A lot of us went on to do a PhD at universities abroad or top schools. Some students chose different paths in science like medical writing, science journalism, or entrepreneurship. And a few even started prepping for Indian civil services.

Campus: When I started college, they were still working on the buildings. The labs and classrooms had all the latest stuff. By the time I finished in 2014, everything was done. We had all the things we needed at the college. Each student got their own room.

Admission: The teachers at IISER Mohali are really good. They know a lot about our course. They have experience teaching and they make sure we understand everything. The course curriculum is great and prepares us well for working in the industry. Exams are not too difficult. The teachers also support us with research projects.

Placement: Around 40-45% of students in our course at IISER, Mohali, get placed. The average package is between 4 to 7 LPA. Companies that focus on research and development come for placements. They offer roles like researchers, project heads, and research interns. There are also internship opportunities available for students.

Campus: I love IISER Mohali because they have top-notch facilities for our course. Everything we need is right here on campus - Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, sports, you name it! The campus itself is so beautiful, and the hostel facilities are great too. The food in the mess hall is tasty, and there are plenty of sports facilities for us to use. Overall, it's a great place to study and live.

Admission: The teachers at this college are top-notch. You gotta have a post-doc to even apply for assistant professor here! That's how you know they're legit. Most of them studied at places like MIT, Stanford, Harvard, and other awesome schools. So yeah, the teachers here are really something.

Placement: IISERM doesn't have a placement cell, unlike some other IISERs. Those IISERs have it because they are close to industries. This helps students get internships at places like IISER Pune, Kolkata, and Bhopal. Since IISERM doesn't have many industries nearby, their main focus is on preparing students to become future scientific leaders. Most IISER graduates go on to do a Ph.D. abroad, and many return to India afterward. This shows that IISERs play a key role in training Indian scientific talent to tackle 21st-century challenges.

Campus: The campus has amazing facilities, like the huge 8-floor library with tons of books. Everything you need is here at IISER Mohali since it's a residential campus. Hostel life is great, you could easily spend five years there. Plus, nearby cities like Chandigarh and Himachal are perfect for exploring and having fun.

Admission: The teachers here are really smart and know their stuff. They teach and do research in their labs at the same time. Some teachers are better than others, though. In the first two years, we study all the main subjects (PCMB). Then in the third year, we get to pick a major.

Placement: At this college, they don't help with job placements since it's all about research. After getting our BS-MS degrees, a lot of us go for Ph.Ds in top schools in India and overseas. For internships, we usually apply to Summer Research programs or reach out to scientists we admire through email.

Campus: The library is amazing with 7 floors and tons of books from different departments like Physical, Chemical, Biological, and Math. The classrooms are cool with AC and lots of space. Labs are top-notch for research. Wi-Fi on campus works well. The hostels are big with 8 floors each, but the rooms are a bit small. There are 2 canteens, a health center, and a sports complex. Each hostel has its own mess with plenty of seating.
