Admission: The teachers here are super knowledgeable and always willing to help out. The exams aren't a walk in the park, but if you study, you'll do fine. Most students pass without a problem. The B.Teach program is good, but I wish there were more options for specialized study.

Placement: I went to this college and they used to hire students directly to ISRO if their grades were above 7.5 out of 10. But now, they're not doing that anymore. The job placements are not as good as some IITs, but the placement team is working hard to improve it. Companies like Accenture and TCS come for placements. There's also a cool startup called AgniKul started by alumni, offering 8-10 LPA. The highest package is 14 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. On average, it's around 5-6 LPA. We have to do a summer internship between the 6th and 7th semester. You can intern at ISRO, on-campus, or at other companies. But doing multiple internships can be tough on your studies. So, it's your call.

Campus: The classrooms are big and can fit lots of students. The labs are in great shape. We have Wi-Fi 24/7 on campus. The library is awesome, with almost all the books you need. Hostels are tidy and well-kept. Bathrooms get cleaned daily, so no worries there. Medical help is available anytime. The food in the mess/canteen is delicious and hygienic. The sports facilities could be better, but you can still play if you enjoy sports.

Admission: The professors here are really helpful. If you're into learning, this is the place to be. The coursework is tough and exams can be challenging, but it's mostly hands-on which helps you get ready for the real world. The only downside is the attendance policy - you gotta hit that 80% mark.

Placement: The avionics course had the highest salary package at 23 LPA in 2024, while aerospace had 13 LPA. On average, avionics offered 13 LPA and aerospace around 6-8 LPA. I'm not really into engineering or physics, so I don't think there's a lot of job opportunities in this field. If you're thinking about coming here, do it for learning, not for jobs.

Campus: This college is great for students who love working in labs. The hostels may not be the best, but they're definitely better than NITs. The Wi-Fi here has some restrictions on gaming and certain websites, which is a bit of a bummer. The food in the mess isn't that great either, it's not as good as what you'd find in other colleges.

Admission: The teachers at this college really know their stuff, most of them are IIT grads. Some of them are pretty cool and helpful. The semester can be tough, but if you put in about 5 hours of study every day, you can aim for an 8 GPA. I think the pass rate is around 70%.

Placement: Most students in the past got placed at ISRO, but the 2025 batch doesn't have that connection. We're not sure how many companies will come for placements now. The good thing is we don't need an ISRO certificate to apply for jobs there anymore.

Campus: The Wi-Fi can be a bit shaky at times, but it gets the job done. Unfortunately, there's no Wi-Fi in the classrooms. The library is huge, with 5 stories and over 35,000 books mostly about space and our course. The literature section is a bit lacking though. Food is clean but not very delicious, at least it won't make you sick. Sports opportunities are improving on campus.

Admission: The teachers here are really great and know their stuff. They focus more on making sure we get things than just getting good grades. The course prepares us well for the industry and teaches us how to use important software. The exams are tough but fair, and most people pass with about a 90% success rate.

Placement: The placement rate is really good thanks to ISRO. The salary package is around 8 LPA. ISRO is the main recruiter and so far everyone has landed internships, mostly at ISRO centers or IIST. The roles available are optical engineer, system designer, tester, and laser technician.

Campus: The Wi-Fi, classrooms, and library are all great here. The library is top-notch, just needs better power backup. The hostel is good but quite far from the city. Food in the mess is tasty and they change the menu often. Overall, a good place to study!

Admission: The professors and staff at my college are all experts in their fields. They know their stuff and teach us well. The Aerospace course is top-notch - it covers theory, technical stuff, and hands-on work that gets us ready for jobs. It's a bit tough with all the classes, tests, labs, and projects, plus hard mid-term and final exams. But most students pass with flying colors - over 85% make it through.

Placement: I really liked studying at IIST. In 2020, our batch had a bond with ISRO, so if you had a CGPA above 7.5, you could get placed at ISRO. The salary packages ranged from 8 to 12 LPA. Before, ISRO used to be the main recruiter, but now there are many new space startups in Aerospace offering placements. During the 6th semester, we had to do a mandatory internship. This gave most of us in the 3rd year a chance to intern at ISRO centers. Almost all the interns got this opportunity, which was pretty cool.

Campus: The classrooms and labs at IIST are really nice. Most labs and some classes have air conditioning. Wi-Fi is available everywhere on campus. We have free medical facilities, sports, a gym, and other stuff. The sports facilities aren't amazing, but we have lots of activities like cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, basketball, chess, carrom, table tennis, and pool. The library at IIST is awesome. It's six stories high, air-conditioned, and open for 16 hours a day with millions of books, e-books, and journals.

Admission: The teachers at IIST are really good and they care about the environment. The semesters can be challenging, but they prepare us well for the industry. About 80% of students pass their exams.

Placement: Most students get placed, around 85%. Since IIST has fewer students, everyone gets great job offers. If you have a CGPA of 7.5 or higher, big companies like ISRO, Bosch, Benz Mahindra, and Tata might hire you.

Campus: I really liked that the campus has 24/7 medical facilities. There are two white canteens there. You can play all kinds of sports, and they have tournaments every year. The mess serves both North and South Indian food. Plus, the campus is really green and nice.

Admission: The teachers at IIST are all really good and they have a small class size, which is nice. It's cool because they can get to know you better. The courses cover things that are actually useful, and we even learn about space-related stuff. Plus, now freshmen can choose from different minors, which is pretty cool.

Placement: Most students with a CGPA above 7.5 end up working at ISRO. Other cool companies like agnikool and SkyRoot also hire students. Around 80-90% of students get placed, but some prefer to pursue further studies.

Campus: The course infrastructure is top-notch. The library has tons of books, and there's 24/7 5G Wi-Fi. The food is okay, but there are lots of food places nearby. The sports facilities are great and getting better all the time. Plus, B.Tech students now get credit for sports, which is cool.

Admission: The courses were super helpful with real-life projects as assignments. The semester exams are pretty tough, but it's important to be accurate in this field. The pass rate is a bit low, though.

Placement: ISRO used to have good placements until 2024. But after the bond with the college dropped, things changed. This year, only 34 out of 62 students got selected by ISRO. The rest found placements in other startups, with salaries between 8-38 LPA.

Campus: The college has a great student-faculty ratio of 7:1. The space lab is awesome for working on projects with professors. No need to worry about CGPA restrictions. The hostels are roomy and the food is pretty average.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff and are super helpful. Besides them, every subject has two assistant teachers who can also help you out. Sometimes there are tutorials, especially for core subjects. The semester exams aren't too tough; just pay attention in class and study for a couple of hours daily to get a decent CGPA. The only tricky part is the core subjects, but if you work hard, you can still do well.

Placement: Getting a job in ISRO after finishing the course at IIST is totally doable. ISRO looks for students with a CGPA above 7.5 and who are disciplined throughout college. In our batch (aerospace), there were 75 seats and over 40 students landed jobs at ISRO. ECE and engineering students had similar success rates. Apart from ISRO, companies like Agnikul Cosmos, TCS, TATA Elxsi, and more also visit for placements. The highest salary last year for aerospace was 13 LPA and for ECE it was 23 LPA. Median salary is around 10.5 LPA.

Campus: The college's infrastructure is top-notch since it was established in 2007. The department buildings are super modern. I was really impressed by the lab facilities at IIST. There are over 30 labs that work great. You'll always see Ph.D. students in there. I even got to visit the space lab and do some hands-on work! The classrooms are awesome with AC, a digital projector, and comfy chairs. The library is good too, but it's a bummer that it's open only from 8:15 am to 9:00 pm. I wish it was 24/7 for those late-night study sessions. Wi-Fi across the campus is great, with decent speed everywhere. The hostel rooms are nice too with three beds, three cupboards, and a table/chair setup. The food in the mess is alright. I'm from up North, so I have different tastes. But they offer a good variety and quality for everyone.

Admission: The teachers here are super supportive and really know their stuff. They've got loads of experience too. The aerospace engineering course here is top-notch in India, and the college made the curriculum themselves. The exams match up nicely with what we learn in class, and they make us think hard.

Placement: The campus placement is awesome with an average package of about 15 LPA. Big companies like ISRO and Mercedes Benz come for recruitment. We have to do an internship in the third year, which is mandatory. The college even sponsors international internships, covering all costs. The top positions after graduation are like grade A scientist and more.

Campus: The teachers here are from different parts of India and have top degrees. Some studied at Ivy League colleges. The classrooms have AC and Wi-Fi. The library is awesome, with 6 floors and lots of books. Hostels are okay, not AC though. The food in the mess is hit or miss.
