Admission: The courses at ISI are top-notch, just like what you'd find internationally. They're super modern and practical, which keeps us in the loop with the industry. The teachers are really nice and helpful. They teach in a way that's easy to understand and even throw in some extra info that's not in the books. The student-teacher ratio is great, around 10 students per teacher, sometimes even better. Plus, we get to do internships for real-world experience.

Placement: We don't do placements in Chennai because the first year is there. In the second year, we go back to Kolkata for placements. ISI has great placements with an average package of around Rs. 15 to 16 Lakhs per year. Big companies like Walmart, ANZ, Goldman Sachs, Samsung, and UBS come for campus placements, mostly offering analytics jobs.

Campus: The infrastructure at ISI-Chennai needs some work. Right now, we don't have our own campus, so we're staying at IIT Madras. It's a bit far from IIT, and there are some problems being a non-IIT student here. But the place has good facilities like labs, a library, video conferencing, Wi-Fi, and even a table tennis room. The food is also clean and good.
