Admission: Entry into IGIMS after NEET felt straightforward. The online counselling portal was easy to use, merit list updates were timely, campus verification was handled efficiently by supportive staff, and orientation made joining smooth.

Academic: Our college syllabus is actually based on what AIIMS teaches, and the NMC guides all of it. The teachers here are super qualified, and each department even has really skilled senior and junior presidents. Plus, they make sure our exams happen on time, following a fixed schedule that NMC approves right at the start of our course.

Placement: Everyone in our batch got an internship, which is a good thing. For these internships, we usually received about 30,000 rupees as a stipend. However, a downside is that our college does not have any placement facility available. In our batch, there are 120 students in total, with 76 boys and 44 girls.

Campus: The infrastructure at our college is really good. There's one big academic building where each department has its own separate block, all on different floors. For students, we have four hostel buildings that can accommodate around 600 undergraduate students, and this includes girls' hostels too.

Admission: Experience at IGIMS during admission was positive. Counselling schedules were shared promptly, verification took time but stayed organised, registration felt seamless, and the initial orientation reduced stress.

Academic: At IGIMS Patna, our campus is really huge, covering 130.20 acres. They are also building a new 500-bed hospital and two new hostels for junior and senior residents, which is great. Plus, there is a new recreation center for both boys and girls students. The semester exams here are not very hard, and almost 90 percent of students pass. The college also has the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology.

Placement: So, at IGIMS Patna, you can study all sorts of medical programs from Diploma to Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and even Doctoral level, all related to Medical Science and research. This place is pretty well-known, it started way back in 1983. Plus, it has UGC recognition and is affiliated with MCI, which is good. They really focus on giving us great medical education, and they have experienced teachers who help us learn a lot of knowledge and skills for that.

Campus: Our college has really great infrastructure and gives us all the important facilities we need. The library here is fully equipped, and you can find a wide variety of books for everyone to read. For staying, there are separate well-furnished hostels for both boys and girls. These hostels have all the things to make students feel comfortable. Also, we have a cafeteria right on campus where students can chill. They serve good quality and hygienic food there, and the prices are quite reasonable too.

Admission: Transition into IGIMS felt hassle free. NEET counselling was well planned, verification desk staff were supportive, fee payment and registration steps were explained clearly, and overall support stayed strong.

Academic: Our teachers here are quite supportive and helpful. They also know a lot about their subjects.

Placement: In our college, all students get placed in good hospitals, which is great. Also, the salary packages are pretty decent for everyone.

Campus: The facilities here are really great. The hostel is available 24x7, which is super convenient, and the mess food is actually better than expected. We also have a library that's open all the time for students. The Wi-Fi connection is seriously the best, and our classrooms are also quite good. Plus, the overall connectivity around campus is strong.

Academic: Our teachers are really experts at teaching us things. They are all very educated, which helps them explain concepts clearly to students. In classes, they use high-tech stuff for lectures. Plus, different departments often have many seminars that make learning super easy for everyone.

Placement: IGIMS is actually one of the best colleges you can find in Bihar, offering really good, A-class education. They started the UG courses back in 2011, and that was the very first batch for MBBS students. It's pretty cool because almost all the seniors from that 2011 batch are now doing their PG studies in well-known colleges across different states. Even a student from the 2012 batch scored a great rank, around 404, in NEET PG 2019. This college definitely stands out.

Campus: My college, IGIMS, has a really big campus. It's actually the second biggest in terms of area, just after DMCH in Darbhanga, Bihar. The infrastructure here is very well built and modern. For instance, the new MBBS boys' hostel has four lifts, with two lifts for each wing of the hostel. Also, a helipad is currently being built on the roof of our cancer department building.

Admission: Journey through IGIMS admission felt structured. State counselling steps were clear, staff supported well during verification, seat allotment was followed by smooth registration, and orientation wrapped things up nicely.

Academic: In this college, our teachers are very skilled and they give good guidance. We get a lot of exposure starting from the first year itself. Since it's an autonomous college, you don't really have to worry about exams and results too much because they provide chances to improve yourself. Plus, our professors are quite good when it comes to handling exams.

Placement: What I like is that even though it's a medical college and we don't have typical campus placements, we do get a stipend. During our mandatory MBBS internships, students get up to Rs. 20,000. So, placements like other courses aren't really a thing here. But all our old students, I mean the alumni, are well-established doctors now.

Campus: In my experience, our college has the best clinical practice among all government medical colleges in Bihar. We also have really good buildings and facilities, with new machines and tools for learning. The professors here are very skilled too. And the hostel is quite big, so lots of students can stay there easily.

Academic: In our college, the faculty is really good. All of them are highly qualified and very skilled. It's cool because sometimes guest teachers from places like AIIMS Delhi and PGI come to take special classes and seminars. For exams, we have about 9 semester exams that happen every six months. Plus, there are also 4 professional exams. The passing percentage for these exams is 50%.

Placement: When it comes to jobs, my college doesn't offer direct placements. However, it's pretty easy to become a medical officer after you pass out from here. The usual salary for this job is around 60,000 rupees each month. Many students also decide to do postgraduate studies in various subjects once they finish their MBBS.

Campus: College infrastructure is really good and they are making it even better all the time. The campus is huge, spread out on 132 acres. We get Wi-Fi all over the campus. Hostels are nice, and our labs have all the latest instruments. The library is fully air-conditioned, so it's comfy. There's also a big ground right opposite the boys' hostel. In the main college building, we have four lecture theatres, all with AC.

Academic: I like is how the course curriculum is really relevant for getting a job later. We even do hospital rotations as nursing interns, which is great. Semesters are not that difficult here. Our teachers are quite knowledgeable and they teach properly. But, honestly, they dont really bother if you study hard or not. If you pay attention in class, it's good, otherwise, it's also okay. You'll have a busy schedule with duties and classes, so studying daily might be tough. Sometimes, you might need to study all night before exams.

Placement: From my experience, 100% of students here get placed because there is a reservation quota for us. The salary offered is really good, around 90k rupees every month. Mostly, it's IIMS Hospital that hires us after we finish. For the internship part, they give 12,000 rupees as a stipend, and it lasts for one and a half years. We usually start as a Nurse, but over time, you can grow to become a Department Nursing Officer, which is a good career path.

Campus: College course is pretty good. We get Wi-Fi access here, which is super useful. There are proper labs for everything like bio, chem, computers, and all practicals, plus a library too. Not all classrooms are digital, but some of them are modern. The food in the mess is just okay, and the canteen doesn't offer many choices. But it's cool that we can go out if we want something else. For sports, you can play games like badminton or football, just remember to bring your own equipment as the college won't give it. They do have medical assistance available if anyone needs help.

Academic: The course curriculum here is very practical and useful. Our teachers are really good, like better than other government colleges in Bihar. They are all highly qualified and have lots of experience, so the teaching quality is top-notch. We get to learn a lot, especially how to diagnose and handle patients in the ward, which gives us full exposure.

Placement: In medical colleges, we don't have typical placements like other courses. After finishing our internship, students either prepare for their postgraduate entrance exams or they can choose to work as interns at a hospital. But speaking of future opportunities, it's pretty good here. This year, a lot of students from our college actually got into postgraduate programs, which is what we consider good 'placement'.

Campus: In our college, the medical facilities are actually among the best you can find in Bihar. We have a really big library and every department has its own labs too. The Wi-Fi here is pretty good and strong, but just for students and the teachers. Also, a new college building is currently under construction.

Academic: At IGIMS, our teachers are very experienced and know a lot about different medical stuff. Our course runs for four years, and in that time, we have 8 semesters. Each semester has two sessional exams. To pass these exams, you need to get 50% marks, which is normal for medical studies.

Placement: Talking about jobs, our college doesn't have direct placements. Instead, we have to clear exams like NORCET, RUHC NORCET, Railway NORCET, and lots of other exams. After we pass these, we get selected as a Nursing Officer. The starting salary for a Nursing Officer is pretty good, 70k to 80k, but it depends on the place we join.

Campus: Our campus has really good facilities for everything, including academics. The library is awesome, it's packed with a lot of books on different topics. For food, the cafeteria is great because it has clean and affordable meals. Also, all our classrooms and the main auditorium are fitted with modern multimedia tech for better learning.

Admission: Admission at IGIMS felt organised overall. Merit list display and counselling rounds were communicated clearly, document verification was thorough yet efficient, registration went smoothly, and the orientation gave a helpful overview.

Academic: Our teachers are super experienced and know their stuff really well. They totally focus on classroom learning and even tell us to read more books. For teaching, they use modern ways too. MBBS is one of the hardest courses in India, everyone knows that, but still, 90% students pass in my college.

Placement: The seniors who passed out from our college have done really well in their careers. How much money you get after MBBS mainly depends on how much you learn and study. Many of our respected seniors are working as junior residents at AIIMS Delhi, which is a big achievement. Also, a good number of them got jobs in private hospitals like Apollo and Vedanta. Last year, all the students, 100% of them, got their internships easily.

Campus: In our college, the infrastructure is quite modern. The academic building has central air conditioning and Wi-Fi, which is very helpful. We also have a big three-story library, it can fit all students easily and comes with Wi-Fi too. For practicals, the labs are well-equipped, and the staff working there are well qualified.
