Admission: The best thing about IGE is the faculty and the course content. We have great teachers who teach us a lot, although a few are not as good. The courses are interesting and help us learn more about our field. The teaching is good, but many teachers speak Bengali, which can be tough for non-Bengali students. The ratio of students to teachers is around 5:1, and we haven't had any real-world experience yet.

Placement: The college doesn't have placement cells yet, but there's talk about setting them up because of NAAC affiliation. Some seniors landed jobs in good companies through their own hard work and good grades. The college doesn't offer internships. If students try to get internships elsewhere, the authorities don't help and may even reject applications. There aren't many seminars throughout the year, and the few we have are controlled by the principal. He decides on the topic, slides, and even what we should say. If he doesn't like it, he cuts it short with a simple "get out."

Campus: The college doesn't have great facilities for sports or events. The labs are okay with some good tools like PCR machines and photometers. But the computers are bad only one CPU for lots of monitors. No medical help on campus. The classrooms are just average, like a regular school. The food in the canteen is not good and kinda dirty. The hostel rooms are terrible dirty, no water filter, and cats everywhere. And there's not even a proper trash can in the whole building.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful, qualified, and know their stuff. Each student gets a mentor teacher to guide them through everything. The teaching is top-notch and they make sure everyone learns the course well. The curriculum is spot on and they teach with honesty. The semester exams have important questions that you've covered in class. Everyone passes with flying colors here!

Placement: Most students in our college got placed, around 91%. The highest salary offered was 8 Lacs, while the lowest was 2.5 Lacs. The average package was around 3.5 Lacs. Some top hospitals where our students got placed are R. G. Kar Hospital and R. N Tagore Hospital. Almost 89% of us got internships for industrial training at companies like Albert David Ltd, Caplet India Private Ltd, Stadmed Pvt Ltd, and Jupit. The main roles here are about honesty, awareness, and being prepared for tough exams without cheating.

Campus: The college I go to has free Wi-Fi all the time, which is great. Our BMLT lab has different types like Anatomy, Physiology, and Biology labs. It's really helpful for learning the BMLT course. The classrooms, bathrooms, and the whole place are always clean. The library is on the 3rd floor with a lot of books and places to sit and read. We even get National Library memberships. There are 9 clubs like sports, painting, and photography. We also have free MAR point courses. The canteen serves healthy food at affordable prices. Medical facilities and lots of sports and games are available too. Overall, it's a good college with everything we need.

Admission: The teachers here mostly have Ph.Ds and know a lot about their subjects. They like teaching in Bengali. The syllabus isn't too big and is very practical. The study materials given by the teachers are good enough no need for private tutors. In the last year, we have to do two projects: one on biodiversity and another as a dissertation.

Placement: I didn't see any job placements for undergrads at this college. Most students aim for further studies to get better-paying jobs. Internships aren't required for undergrads, but if you want one, you'll have to find it on your own.

Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi, with 35 MB data limit. But in some areas, the limit is 1 GB. There are labs for chemistry, bio-chemistry, micro-biology, genetics, and computers. In the library, you can borrow up to two books for a week. If you're late, it's Rs.2 per day. Hostel options are available for girls and boys, with Wi-Fi. They serve breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Be back in the hostel before 7 pm.

Admission: The professors are really great they're helpful and know their stuff. The only issue is that they mostly speak Bengali in class, which can be tough for non-Bengali students to keep up with. Other than that, everything is okay.

Placement: The college doesn't have any placement cell yet, so they don't offer any placements. Students have to find job opportunities on their own after completing M.Sc by taking exams at other colleges. The college might set up a placement cell in the future.

Campus: The facilities here are okay. There's no central AC, and the library is not great. It's tough to find books for genetics class. We don't have a sports area, but there's a big pond for mosquitoes and fish. The lab is good for research though.

Admission: The teachers here are really smart - a lot of them have PhDs and are NET and GATE qualified. They come from different countries like Bangladesh and different states in India. If you want to do an internship or training, you have to find a private lab on your own. The course info is all on the website. NAAC visited in 2018. The teachers are nice and you learn a lot from them. Just gotta work together with them.

Placement: I didn't see any job placements, but if you're a top student in your course, you can become a lab assistant. If you have NET and a PhD, you could even become an assistant professor. Just a heads up, the institute director doesn't provide any letters for training or internships. Sometimes getting your scholarship form attested can be a hassle. On the bright side, the teachers here are really good and treat you well if you're focused on getting a good education.

Campus: The lab facilities and equipment for masters and graduation are good. There's Jio Wi-Fi on campus and projectors in classrooms. Some labs and the e-library are air-conditioned. There are hostels for both boys and girls, but the quality isn't great.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really great. They know their stuff and are always ready to help. Their way of teaching is top-notch compared to other colleges in India. The lab facilities here are amazing too. Plus, the number of students in each class is low, so everyone gets attention. The course content is really good too. That's what I love most about this college.

Placement: There aren't many job placements available at this college. Companies visit occasionally to recruit students, but it's not very frequent. However, many students who graduate from here end up getting accepted into top colleges and universities for further studies. A lot of students also aim for jobs like lab assistant or research fellowship after they finish their studies.

Campus: The classrooms are nice at this college. The campus has Wi-Fi everywhere which is great. The library is full of books and resources. They even have an e-lab for bioinformatics. Plus, there's a computer lab too. The food in the canteen and the hostel are just okay.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They're super helpful during and after class. They're always there to support us. Most of them know their stuff really well and have done a lot of research. I'm in the 3-year genetics program with 6 semesters.

Placement: After finishing B.Sc. (Genetics), placements are a bit hard to come by. But if you go on to do your Masters, there are more job opportunities waiting for you in different industries. Lately, a few students have been landing jobs right after their B.Sc. Some companies even come to the college to hire students.

Campus: The campus is nice, though not as fancy as Amity, VIT, and other private colleges. The labs are top-notch, and they even have a new gym for students. Plus, there's a playground for chilling out. Overall, the vibe here is cool. They have different buildings for each lab, which is pretty convenient.

Admission: The teaching at this college was really good. The staff were all supportive and understanding. The curriculum covered all the latest stuff in our field. Our teachers were super friendly and knowledgeable.

Placement: I was really happy with how many students got placed from our college. They said 91% of students got jobs. The highest package was 8 LPA, lowest was 2.5 LPA, and average was 3.5 LPA. Some of the top hospitals that hired students were R. G. Kar Hospital and R. N. Tagore Hospital.

Campus: The college had everything we needed - good classrooms, lots of books in the library, labs with all the equipment, and even sports and fun stuff to do. It was easy for both students and teachers to get to the college because of the transport options. Genetic engineering was a popular course, so having all the right facilities was important. The college made sure everything was well-kept and working properly.

Admission: The professors at our college have different levels of qualifications. Some are really good, but others don't have the right qualifications. Only a few professors are helpful, while many don't show up much for classes. The labs don't have all the equipment we need, so we can't learn hands-on skills properly. This makes it tough for us to be ready for jobs in the industry. The semester exams are done well because the papers come from the university, not the college. This makes the exams more serious and fair for everyone.

Placement: The campus was always full of students, but the job placements weren't as promised. The facilities were really bad, and they didn't even talk much about placements. They didn't offer any internships, just some paid ones that we had to find ourselves.

Campus: The facilities at the college were just okay, not very impressive. Wi-Fi wasn't available, and the labs were lacking equipment. Classrooms were basic, some had projectors. The hostel conditions were really bad, security was lacking. The food in the mess wasn't great. Medical facilities were not good either. On the bright side, they did encourage sports and games.
