About IST

Institute of Science and Technology, popularly known as IST Chandrakona, was established in 2005. It is a private self-financed engineering and technical college located in Chandrakona Town, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal. Sponsored by the Gopsai Avinandan Sangha (a society registered under the West Bengal Societies Act). The institute is officially approved by the AICTE, New Delhi, recognized by the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of West Bengal, and recognized by the UGC under section 2(f) & 12(b) of the UGC Act, 1956.
