Admission: The teachers and classes are great because they prepare us for future jobs. The courses cover everything we need for industry. Plus, we can choose elective courses in our favorite subjects and even interview at companies we like. It's really helpful for our career goals.
Placement: In my branch, lots of students get placed in different companies around 80%. Some students go for a master's instead of placements. Others do off-campus stuff or join family businesses. Companies like Alstom, Micron, Inductotherm, etc., come to hire students. It's cool to see so many options after college!
Campus: The classrooms here are amazing, and the campus is really nice. We've got this big library with lots of books on 4 floors. Tech students don't have hostels on campus, but they can find PGs nearby. The medical facilities are good, and there's a sports ground for games. They're also planning to build a new sports complex in a couple of years.

Admission: At Nirma University, the professors are mostly from IIT. They are super helpful. The course curriculum really matches up with what's happening in the industry. One cool thing is that we get to go on industry visits every semester. It's awesome to see how what we're learning is actually used out there in the real world.
Placement: I loved my time at Nirma University! Everyone I know got a job after graduating. The mechanical engineering peeps are making bank the top package is around 15 lakhs and the lowest is 6 lakhs. Big names like TATA and RELIANCE come to recruit here. You can snag roles like maintenance engineer or supervisor. It's a solid place to kickstart your career.
Campus: The Nirma University campus is really pretty with lots of trees. It's big too. They have cool stuff like high-tech labs and air-conditioned classrooms with projectors. The seating is in steps, which is nice. They've got wi-fi, but it's just for laptops, not phones.

Admission: Most teachers here aren't friendly and don't know much. They just focus on selling stuff rather than teaching. The college rules mostly favor the faculty, not the students. The mechanical course covers all the important subjects. You can even take minors in CS, law, or management alongside mechanical. There's a gap between theory and practice, but GTU students manage to bridge it. Exams are okay - 70% is easy, 30% is tough. Passing is quite doable with an 85% pass rate. Around 10-15 students might need to retake exams.
Placement: Last year, I was in mechanical engineering at college. There were 110 of us looking for jobs, and 92% got placed. The average salary was 7.5 LPA. The highest package was 14 LPA, and the lowest was 6 LPA. Companies like Bosch, Tata Motors, and Amazon came to hire us. They offered roles in IT and management. In power and energy sectors, we worked on improving machine performance. In manufacturing, we focused on leading workers and cutting costs. We get internships after 6 semesters. I'm in the 5th semester now, so I don't know much about it yet. But companies like ISRO and Adani offer projects here. I'm currently working on a project funded by BIS. I'm analyzing materials used in transmission lines.
Campus: The facilities at Nirma are pretty good. There are sports areas for badminton, cricket, table tennis, volleyball, and tennis. Plus, there's a track for running. There are 4 hostels (h1, h2, h3, h4) with all the basics like beds, tables, AC, and washrooms. In the department, we have Wi-Fi, CAD software labs, CAM machines like CNC and VMC, and workshops with all the tools we need. The food in the mess and canteen is just okay. My friend even got sick once from eating there, so cleanliness could be better.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful, and a lot of them graduated from IIT. They know their stuff really well. At the beginning of the year, they email us the whole curriculum. Each semester, we have three exams, but they're not too tough if we keep up with our studies daily.
Placement: In my division, there's about 75 students. We have two divisions for civil department. The highest salary offered is 15 LPA, with an average of 10 LPA and the lowest being 6 LPA. Around 70% of us get placed, which is pretty good. Companies start visiting in 3rd or 4th year to hire students. Nirma attracts some really good companies for placements.
Campus: The campus at Nirma University is huge, with separate hostels for students. Each block on campus is dedicated to a different department. I like that there's an auditorium in each block. The hostels have all the facilities we need, including a mess for meals. It's a nice setup overall.

Admission: The teachers and alumni are really helpful and supportive. They guide us well in every situation. The exams are based on logic, not just memorizing stuff from books. The courses are designed to make us excel in our chosen fields. It's great for pursuing our interests too.
Placement: The tech department here offers a top package of around 83 LPA. Most students get packages between 8 to 11 LPA. Lots of companies visit to hire students. They also focus on social issues through service projects.
Campus: I stayed in the hostel meant for PG students, which is open to both boys and girls. There's also a separate hostel for B.Tech students. The campus has everything you need Wi-Fi, labs, air-conditioned classrooms, and three libraries. I love that these facilities are open to all students, not just those in specific programs. It's cool that students from other colleges can join in on the fun events hosted by the different clubs at Nirma University.

Admission: The teachers are really helpful and know their stuff. They do their best to help us out. The teaching is mostly good, but sometimes it's just okay. The course content makes sense. It's tough though, with 3 different parts to get graded on - CE, LPW, and SEE. You gotta do well in all of them to get a good grade. You need at least 40% to pass.
Placement: Most of the students have found placements already, with about 70% placed. The process is still ongoing. On average, the package is around 6 to 7 LPA. The highest package offered is 16 LPA. Companies like Torrent Power and Adani are hiring students. The popular role being offered is a graduate engineer trainee for electrical engineering.
Campus: The campus has great facilities. Some classrooms have air conditioning, while others don't. The labs are equipped with modern technology for simulations. Hostels are only for girls until the third year ends.

Admission: The teachers here are really smart and nice. They help us a lot and know their stuff well. The way they teach is great and fits with what we need to learn. Exams aren't super hard, but they do throw in some tricky questions. Most people pass with over a 90% success rate.
Placement: I'm in a course where almost 90% of students got placed. The top package last year was 52 LPA, and the average package was 8.51 LPA. Companies like IBM and Google came for placements. We also had Tata and Zomato visiting our campus. Many students landed internships, including some at Google and Zomato.
Campus: I love my college because it has awesome facilities. There are lots of departments and the campus is huge. All the classes and labs have Wi-Fi, which is great. The labs are top-notch too. The hostels are really nice and there are 3 canteens that serve delicious food. Plus, they have awesome medical and sports facilities and clubs.

Admission: The teachers are mostly Ph.D. holders and know their stuff. Some are laid-back, but others really try to help us understand. The lab work helps us get ready for jobs. Exams are hard, and passing is tough with only a 34% pass rate.
Placement: Most students in my batch get jobs every year, around 85%. The highest salary offered was 13 lakhs per year, while the average was about 6.16 lakhs. If you get a chance for an internship, most students grab it. The college is great at setting up internships with companies. In electrical engineering, students can even become the head of the electrical department in a company.
Campus: Some classes in our course are missing, especially in the summer, which is a big problem. But the ones that exist have nice furniture and facilities. The computers and labs are in good shape. The hostel rooms are decent, and the food is tasty but a little pricey.

Admission: In my Computer Science branch, the professors are really knowledgeable and hold Ph.D. degrees. The course is decent, but you gotta work hard to land a job after graduation. The coding scene is great here, lots of people into it. The course doesn't fully prepare you for the industry, so you gotta put in extra effort. The exams each semester are pretty manageable.
Placement: The job placements are decent, but not as great as last year due to the tough market. Big companies like Oracle and Deutsche Bank are recruiting students. Around 90% of students found jobs. The highest salary offered was 55 lakhs through off-campus recruitment, while the lowest could be around 3-4 lakhs.
Campus: The college has a nice campus with lots of trees, which I love. They have Wi-Fi all over the place, which is cool. There's a canteen called Mohani with good food at reasonable prices. Then there's another canteen called the law canteen, where the prices are a bit higher but they have fancy restaurant-like food. The library is awesome, they have Wi-Fi there too, and you can find all the books you need.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff and are great at teaching. They can be strict, but they're also super helpful. The class sizes are good, so you can get the attention you need. Just gotta follow the rules. The courses cover all the basics you need to know for the industry.
Placement: Most students get jobs in Electrical Engineering, around 80% of us. The pay is good, usually between 6-7 LPA, but some lucky ones can get up to 12-13 LPA. Jobs can be in maintenance or designing for big companies like TCS. Just keep your grades up, and you're all set for a job after graduation. Placement is solid here!
Campus: The campus has super-fast Wi-Fi everywhere. The canteen food is yummy and they have 3 canteens with different food options and timings. Vending machines are handy for snacks too. The classrooms are big and airy, with chalkboards and projectors for teaching. The labs have all the tools we need. They also promote sports and health with a 3-credit course on yoga.
