Admission: The teachers at Shimla campus are amazing! They're super friendly even though they're really busy. Some of them even offer extra help outside of class. You can always ask them questions, but make sure they're not too busy. The class sizes are good, not too big - around 60 students per teacher. Plus, they pick the best students to help out the others. If you go to the seminars, you'll learn a lot. They have this new credit system now called RUSA (CBSC). It's 6 semesters of 6 months each, which is way better than the old system with 1-year semesters and 3 terms. It's much easier to follow now.

Placement: This course is distance education from Himachal Pradesh University, Summerhill Shimla. If you're not from Shimla, don't expect campus placements. But locals might get interviews and notifications. You can apply for UG posts like accountant. Out of the 7-8 students I know, 2 boys got placed, so less than 40% success rate. Salaries are not great in the state, maybe around 8-16 thousand rupees based on your skills. Don't expect many job opportunities unless you're in places like Baddi, Nalagarh, or Parwanoo. ICEDEOL offers various UG and PG courses, but companies usually hire for general positions like sales or clerical work. Regular HPU classes have more opportunities than ICEDEOL. If you get your admit card before exams, consider yourself lucky.

Campus: Studying at ICEDEOL has its perks because you can study outside Shimla. I attended tutorial classes in Dharamshala taught by government professors. The teachers were good, but the course only lasts a few weeks. They'll send you books, forms, a library card, and study materials. You can ask questions, but it's hard to get them on the phone. The classrooms and labs are okay, typical for a local college. ICEDEOL is part of HPU, so the canteen and sports facilities are good. There's even an SBI branch on campus. My friend, who stays in the hostel and studies B.Sc, mentioned that sometimes there are water issues in winter due to freezing pipes. However, the seniors and party workers are helpful.
