Admission: Getting into IMI felt structured and stress free. The application portal was easy to use, interview schedules were communicated clearly, and the verification team was supportive throughout. The orientation session later helped clear all remaining doubts.
Academic: Our teachers are super helpful, you know. They are really smart and know a lot, so they get us ready for our exams very well. The things they teach also make us completely ready for jobs in the industry. For our batch, because it was the COVID time, the exams were open book, and the difficulty was set just like that only.
Placement: For our batch, the placements were really good, like 100% got placed. Big companies such as JSW, Amazon, Pwc, and KPMG came to our campus for hiring. They mostly offered jobs for consultant and risk advisory roles. The highest salary package someone got was 20 Lacs, while the lowest was 4 Lacs, and the average package stood at 6.5 Lacs.
Campus: At our college, the hostel food has a good variety of options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian eaters. Also, we have good facilities for both outdoor and indoor sports right on campus. Even though there isnt a dedicated football ground, you can play all other sports here. When it comes to infrastructure, our college is top-notch with excellent Wi-Fi, labs, and a well-stocked library.

Admission: The admission journey at IMI was organised at every stage. Interview rounds, merit list updates, document checks, and orientation were all managed clearly, which reduced a lot of anxiety.
Academic: What I like most about our college is how good the teachers are. They are all very experienced, and some of them are even famous professors who are known all over the world. The way they teach is really engaging, so we learn a lot and it's all about practical things. We also have many clubs like the Marketing club, Finance club, Operations club, Eco Club, HR club, and Strategy Club, and these clubs make learning super fun.
Placement: Talking about placements, they are really good here and keep getting better each year. New companies join our college for recruitment all the time, adding to the ones already coming. We have 100% placements, which is awesome. Many types of companies come, such as those from Banking, Finance, IT, Services, FMCG, Retail, and e-Commerce sectors. They offer decent salary packages. During my time, companies like ICICI group, Globaldata, Deloitte, Spencers, Bajaj Capital, HDFC, Amazon, ITC Ltd, Reliance Textiles, and GMR came for hiring. Even companies from the RP-SG group, like CESC and Philips Carbon Black, recruit from our campus.
Campus: From my experience here, the college campus is really colourful and nice to look at. Everything inside is fully air-conditioned, and the Wi-Fi internet works super good all over the place. All classrooms have projectors, which helps a lot for lectures and presentations. Our library has lots of books and journals, plus we get e-book subscriptions too, and the best part is we keep getting them even after we pass out. They have options for both day scholars and students who want to stay in the hostel. Hostel rooms are single, come furnished, and even have their own balcony with daily cleaning. For fun, there are indoor and outdoor sports, and chill-out lounges in the hostel. We also have many student groups like social-welfare club, sports club, and hostel committee, which keep everyone busy with extra activities outside studies.

Admission: My joining experience at IMI was stress free. From application and interview scheduling to receiving the offer letter, everything was communicated clearly. Document verification and registration were well managed, and orientation gave helpful insights.
Academic: From my experience, the teachers here are super knowledgeable and also very particular about studies. They always help out if any student needs it, whether for research work or just regular course stuff. It's not just classroom teaching; they do many case studies too. This really helps us develop a real-life problem-solving mindset and learn practical things.
Placement: For the PGDM 2019-21 batch, almost 100% of students got placed in 2021. This was a huge success for our college's placement drive. Even with the pandemic going on, our campus managed to have a really good placement season this year, with many of the best companies coming to hire.
Campus: The facilities here are quite good. We have awesome digital classrooms and the entire campus has Wi-Fi, which is super helpful. Our library is well-stocked with books, and there are many computers with fast internet always. If you like sports, they have a volleyball court, table tennis, badminton, poker, and other cool stuff too.

Admission: My admission experience at IMI was well managed. From merit list updates to registration and document checks, everything was clearly explained. Staff were supportive during counselling, and orientation helped a lot.
Academic: I like about this college is the faculty. Our teachers are super experienced, they have worked in companies and also studied a lot. They don't just give lectures; they always make sure we talk and discuss things in class. And the best part is, they are always ready to help us with anything, even when class is over. The course content is also always getting updated so we learn about stuff that matters in today's world. We mostly learn using case studies, many of them are from Harvard and Ivey, which really helps us connect with the business world. Apart from our regular teachers, visiting profs from all over the world also come here to teach. The college also keeps having events with industry experts throughout the year. This helps us know about the latest market news and all the new tech or methods out there.
Placement: When you compare it to other colleges that are in the same league, IMI Kolkata has a really excellent placement record. In 2021, the placements were quite good here, and students got a highest package of 20.7 LPA. The average package was 8.55 LPA. Most of the job offers came from consulting and financial services companies. Big names like JSW Steel, Deloitte, Amazon, Genpact, HDFC Bank, and ICICI Bank, plus others, visited our campus for final placements. What's even better is that the placement numbers are just getting better every single year. The college has this active placement committee that works hard to make sure students are ready for the industry.
Campus: Our IMI-K campus has really great infrastructure for all students. The hostel buildings are very clean, which is super important these days. All our buildings are air-conditioned and have the latest facilities. We have good classrooms, a well-stocked library, meeting rooms, and a big auditorium too. The food at the canteen and hostel mess is always excellent and tastes good. For fun and fitness, there's a badminton court, volleyball court, and a fully equipped gym. Inside, we can play carrom, table tennis, and even pool.

Admission: Applying here was straightforward and well planned. Interview schedules and provisional offers were shared clearly, document verification was managed properly, and final registration went without confusion. Everything felt systematic.
Academic: What's really good about IMI Kolkata is that our teachers are super qualified and they have so much experience in their subjects. The college also makes sure we get to visit different industries often. This helps us a lot to see how things actually work in the real world, you know. For exams, the difficulty level changes a lot every semester. Sometimes it's quite easy, and sometimes it gets really tough. So, it's hard to say how the exams will be in the future.
Placement: From my experience, our college is quite good for getting jobs and internships. Almost every student got an internship, and most of these were in marketing and sales roles. For final placements, nearly 90% of us got placed right from campus. The highest salary package offered was 18 LPA, with the lowest being 4 LPA. Top companies like Deloitte, PWC, ICICI, EY, and Kantar came for recruitment, and most students ended up in the finance sector.
Campus: The Wi-Fi here is excellent, and you can easily find any book you need in the library. Our classrooms are always kept clean and well-maintained. Talking about the hostel, the food quality is really good, and the people working there are very polite and helpful. There are also lots of sports activities available right in the hostel, like table tennis and volleyball.

Admission: The admission process at IMI felt very smooth overall. From application to merit list updates, everything was clearly communicated. Document verification was quick, registration was easy, and orientation gave a good overview of what to expect next.
Academic: Professorts here are super smart and know a lot. You can learn so many things from them because they really share their knowledge with us. Since our batch is not huge like in other colleges, our teachers give full attention to each student. They even arrange extra tutorials if someone needs more help on a specific topic. This helps a lot to get us ready for the real job world. Our course curriculum is designed in a cool way too; most classes are based on real company case studies. This means we get to understand actual business problems and even try to solve them. Learning across different subjects also gives us more exposure before we finally join companies.
Placement: Talking about jobs and placements, our college is seriously good. Almost everyone in our batch got placed, which is great. The highest package someone got was 20.7 LPA. On average, students got around 9.12 LPA, and even the lowest package offered was 8.71 LPA, which is not bad at all. A lot of students, like almost 50% of us, got placed with an average salary of 10 LPA. Our college really stands out for placements compared to others. Big companies like JSW Steel, HSBC India, TresVista, IFFCO, Byju's, KPMG, EY, and Amazon come here to hire us. The college's placement committee works super hard to make sure everything runs smoothly for getting us jobs.
Campus: Our college has a really good atmosphere, and the campus itself is very well-maintained. The buildings here are quite modern, like a cutting-edge type setup. We have hostel facilities for all students. Inside, the hostel rooms are good, they come with AC and Wi-Fi connection. Boys and girls get separate residential buildings, which is nice. For studies, our library is full of many books, so students can always learn new things. And for staying active, the gym is big and has all the equipment you might need. Plus, we have awesome sports facilities for things like cricket, badminton, volleyball, and even table tennis.

Admission: My admission journey at IMI was hassle free. Interview dates were shared on time, document verification moved quickly, and the offer letter came without delays. Registration and orientation covered all details clearly.
Academic: Our teachers are very supportive and helpful, students can always approach them with any doubts. We have a total of 6 trimesters here. Exams are held every trimester, besides the internal assessments. The difficulty level for these exams is moderate, and a 40% score is needed to pass. The course curriculum is quite relevant, making sure we are industry-ready, and industrial visits are also conducted on time.
Placement: What I like most about our college is the placements. Almost 98 to 99% of students got placed, and the salaries were really good, from 4.5 LPA to a high of 22 LPA. Big companies like JSW, Deloitte, PWC, and ICICI Bank came to hire us. Everyone, I mean 100% of students, also got internships at cool places like Amazon, Nephro Plus, Gocommet, and Outlook. We even got roles like team lead, risk and advisory, analyst, and tax consultant.
Campus: Our college has really good facilities for everything. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned, which is super comfortable. For those in the hostel, rooms are cleaned every day, which is nice. The mess food is also good, they have options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian people. Plus, medical facilities are there if anyone needs them. I really like the sports setup; it's great and managed well by the student sports community. We have about 10 different sports to choose from here.

Academic: Our teachers are very smart and know their subjects really well. They're also super helpful, clearing our doubts even after class time. Because of this, our classes feel very interactive, and it's easier for students to understand everything. For anyone needing more help, they set up tutorials too, which is great.
Placement: Almost all students from our batch got placed, like around 100%. The highest salary someone got was 20 LPA, and the average salary was about 9.12 LPA. Even for half of the students, the average salary package reached 10 LPA. The lowest package offered was 8.71 LPA. Our seniors got jobs in various fields such as marketing, finance, HR, analytics, and operations. Top companies like ICICI, HDFC, JSW Steel, and SVP come to recruit here. Plus, the college helps with internships where you can earn a stipend from 10,000 to 1,00,000 rupees per month.
Campus: The facilities here at our college are really good, meeting all student needs. We have 24-hour Wi-Fi, which is super helpful. Admission: Getting admission at IMI went smoothly from start to finish. After my interview, the offer letter came without delay, the online registration and fee payment were simple, and document verification during orientation was handled efficiently by helpful staff. It felt like a well-planned beginning.
Academic: At IMI Kolkata, the college really makes sure our course curriculum is up-to-date. They keep changing it based on what the industry needs right now. The teachers here are highly qualified and have lots of experience, always ready to help students whenever we need them. Our whole course is split into trimesters. For exams, 30 percent of the marks come from the final end-trimester exam. The rest of our grades are from assignments, group projects, case studies, and how we perform in class.
Placement: From what I've seen, our college's placements are quite good. For the 2024 passouts, the highest salary package hit 20.38 LPA, and the average package stood at 12.02 LPA. Many big companies like Amazon, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, LINC, OYO, Coca-Cola, RPSG Group, and others come to our campus for both placements and Summer Internship Programs (SIP). For this year's SIP, the highest stipend was 1 lac rupees, and the average stipend was Rs 50,500.
Campus: The first month here at IMI Kolkata is called orientation. They make sure students feel at home and understand the rules, especially for the hostel. Before proper classes, we have some prep classes to get us ready. IMI Kolkata is a full package, giving us new syllabus that's good for jobs and also lots of activities to make our manager skills better. The college has all modern things, like new classrooms, a big auditorium, and everything else we need. Our hostel is inside the campus only, right next to the academic building and the RPSG House. There are separate parts for girls and boys, and different room types so we can pick what we like. The hostel follows very strict rules to keep everyone safe and stop any problems. Also, there's a doctor on campus we can see for free, and psychologists are also there to help with our mental health and well-being.

Admission: The admission process at IMI Kolkata felt very systematic. Interviews and merit list announcements were clear, document verification was handled well, and registration support was strong. Orientation helped me feel prepared.
Academic: From my experience here, we get a lot of assignments, projects, and presentations. These really help us learn how to speak confidently and also how to use different softwares. Our teachers are super helpful too, and they make sure we understand all the concepts well, especially since some of our classes were online.
Placement: From my experience at IMI Kolkata, the college really makes big promises about placements during admissions, telling us we'd get 100% jobs in any field we want. If you look at their website or LinkedIn, you'll see names like Coca-Cola, Intel, and HUL coming for placements, which sounds great. But the truth is, most companies that actually came were Byjus, HDFC Life, SBI Life Insurance, and other finance or loan companies like ICICI Securities, Planet Spark, and HSBC. The placement head, Mr. Rohit Singh, even pushed students to choose marketing as their main specialization, clearly to get us into sales jobs. They mostly rely on selling insurance or course-selling companies for sales roles and even make students apply for companies they don't want to join. Only a very few FMCG companies like Linc, Jockey, and Xiaomi visited, and they hired just 6-7 students. It's crazy, there were about 8-9 boys in the HR department, and none of them got an HR job. When I asked the college about this, they shamelessly said companies don't want male candidates in HR. For internships too, it was mostly magazine-selling companies, and they were mostly unpaid. I even had to spend Rs. 2800 from my own pocket just to get an internship certificate from one such company they pushed me into. I really feel like I got scammed by IMI Kolkata. They took my 12.30 lakh rupees, but I didn't get any proper job. Now they're just forcing me to consider jobs for Rs 15,000 per month or with Byjus. When I finally talked to the placement chairperson about all these issues, he just flat out told me they don't offer 100% placements or guarantee jobs, that they only bring a limited number of companies, and they won't call any more for students.
Campus: This college has a very big campus in Alipur, and it looks really beautiful. Inside, you will find everything you need like classrooms, IT labs, finance labs, and a big library. They also provide separate hostels for both boys and girls. Because of the covid situation, our batch had to complete our full education online.
