Admission: The teachers here are a mixed bag - some know their stuff and are helpful, while others not so much. Teaching overall is okay. The course content is solid and the exams are not too hard. With 3-4 days of studying, you can pass them without too much stress. The pass rate is around 90%, which is pretty good.
Placement: In my college, most students get jobs after they graduate. The highest salary offered on campus is around 9 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and IBM hire a lot of students. The job scene is okay, but it's not as good as before because of the recession. Some students also get internships, but I'm not sure how many. In my course, we can become Data Scientists, Cloud Engineers, IT Specialists, AI Engineers, Data Analysts, and more.
Campus: The library at my college is pretty good, with Wi-Fi and all. But the Wi-Fi in my department's building is kinda unreliable. Some students get hostel rooms based on merit, but not everyone. The rooms in the hostel are not that great though.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful. They're all qualified and pass the entrance exams to get in. The course they teach is super relevant to the industry. You'll definitely get a shot in the industry after studying here. The exams each semester aren't too tough, just average. Most students, about 80%, pass them without any trouble.
Placement: Around half of the students landed jobs in top companies after graduation. The mechanical course has a highest package of 9 LPA and a lowest package of 3 LPA. Big companies like Tata Group, Godrej Group, Reliance, and Larsen and Toubro recruit from our college. A good number of students also got internships at Tata and Reliance. The job role offered is usually as a mechanical engineer.
Campus: The college facilities are great! The classrooms are comfy with good furniture. The Wi-Fi and library are awesome. The hostel facilities are okay, not the best. Food quality is pretty good. There's a nearby medical center. And they've got a nice sports ground too!

Admission: The teachers at my college are super smart and many of them have written their own research papers. They really like teaching and are happy to give extra classes if we need them. But sometimes they're too easy on us, which makes some students not take things seriously. This means we sometimes don't finish all the topics in the curriculum. The exams are okay, they cover most of what we learn, but we end up having to study some parts on our own.
Placement: I'm studying Computer Science Engineering at Jabalpur Engineering College. The placement options are okay here. Most CS and IT students get good placements, but students from other branches also get decent offers, just not as many. The highest package on-campus is around 10 lakhs, and off-campus it can go up to 22 lakhs. This college is great if you want to go for higher studies or prepare for exams like GATE. The fees are low, and there are lots of scholarships available too.
Campus: For internships, you can start in the third year, but group projects happen from the second year. The college's infrastructure is okay, but it's a bit old. They've built new stuff lately, so it's getting better. No big issues with facilities here. The classrooms are big, and the library's open from 10 AM to 5 PM. Hostel rooms are nice, and they're only 3000 INR a year, which is a steal. You share a room with one other person. There's power all day, but no Wi-Fi. Good deal compared to other colleges in Madhya Pradesh.

Admission: The best thing about this college is the teachers. They're all Ph.D. holders or NEAT qualified. They're really helpful with both academics and personal stuff. The semester exams aren't too hard. Most questions are repeated from previous years. There are 70 marks for theory, 30 for practical, and 20 for semester exams out of a total of 150. The rest of the marks are for attendance and student behavior. You need at least 22 marks out of 70 to pass the theory exam.
Placement: The college didn't have great placement results. Only about half of the students got jobs in companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and Capgemini. The highest salary was 12 LPA, and the average was 3.5 LPA. Sadly, the college doesn't help with internships, so students have to find them themselves.
Campus: The college campus is huge, covering 250 acres. The buildings are pretty old, but the AI department building is well-maintained. Wi-fi is available everywhere, and the library is massive. The classrooms are spacious and have good air conditioning. There are 8 boys hostels and 3 girls hostels on campus. The food in the mess isn't great, I'd rate it a 6 out of 10 for quality and hygiene. Each hostel has its own sports ground. The campus and hostels are full of greenery, making it a really eco-friendly environment.

Admission: The professors here really know their stuff and are super helpful. They all have Ph.D.s in their subjects. The teaching is pretty good, like at most colleges. Students work hard to get job opportunities and look for internships. The semester exams are a breeze at this college.
Placement: Around 70% of students usually find jobs each year. IBM gives the best offer at 12 LPA. The lowest offer is about 3.5 LPA, and the average is around 6 LPA. TCS, Wipro, Reliance, and IBM are the top companies that hire here. Overall, the job scene is decent.
Campus: The college's infrastructure is okay, not amazing because it's been around since 1947. There's a huge library with lots of engineering books and good Wi-Fi. But the hostel buildings aren't great and you have to share rooms with others.

Admission: The teachers here are pretty cool. Most of them are guest teachers, so they're pretty chill and listen to us. The course content gets updated a lot to keep up with AICTE standards. But honestly, the notes they give us aren't always enough to pass exams. I usually end up watching YouTube or taking online classes to study on my own. The exams aren't super hard though. If you put in some effort, you can definitely pass with no problem.
Placement: The placement scene for core branches isn't great, but for CS and IT, companies like TCS and IBM come to hire students. The highest package is around 10 LPA, with an average of 3.5 LPA. Most students end up as GETs, but not many students from other branches make it past the cutoff.
Campus: The library has a lot of books, but they're old and not taken care of. There are only a few books mentioned in the syllabus. The labs for subjects like EE have old machines that don't work well, and the lab sessions aren't very useful.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff and teach well. But it's a bummer that they don't use any cool tech stuff like digital boards in most classes. The labs are kinda outdated too. Seems like they've been doing things the same way for ages.
Placement: Our college gets visits from big companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys for placements. Companies like Mahindra also come to hire students. Although the college doesn't arrange internships, students work really hard to get them. The average salary offered is around 7 LPA, with the highest salary going up to 12 LPA.
Campus: The Wi-Fi sucks everywhere hostels, campus, and even the library. My department building is pretty new, just a year old, but the facilities are lacking. The labs are just okay. The cool thing is students run the mess, so if you don't like the food, you can switch up who's in charge. They've got different hostels for each year group. So first-years, second-years, third-years, and fourth-years all stay in separate places.

Admission: The professors here are super smart, most of them got their PhDs from IITs. They really care about us, especially our HOD, MS Bhavna Jhariya. She's always thinking about how we're doing. The stuff we learn might seem a bit old, but it's still useful. Exams can be tough, but you can get through by cramming the night before. By the end of the program, you'll be ready for a job. Right now, though, the job placements in EC aren't the best.
Placement: Placements have gotten a lot better lately. Our new principal, Mr. Rajeev Chandak, is really doing a great job. About 80% of students found jobs this year, mostly in IT. It's a big step up from previous years. The highest pay package is around 15 LPA. On average, students are making between 5 to 6 LPA. There's still room to grow in other areas besides IT. Overall, the college is on the right track.
Campus: The EC department may not have the newest facilities, but the teaching quality is top-notch. The atmosphere is really disciplined and peaceful. The hostel is clean and there's no ragging happening. However, the food in the hostel is not great at all. You might want to find other options for meals.

Admission: The teachers here are pretty good. They all have Ph.D.s, but most students rely on other resources too. Exams happen on schedule, and you need 22 out of 70 to pass. Most students start studying just a week before exams.
Placement: When it comes to placements, things were tough during Covid-19, but they're getting better now. The placement rate is a bit low, but it's picking up. The average salary offered is around 5 to 6 LPA. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Zensar, IBM, Reliance, and Persistent are the top recruiters.
Campus: The Wi-Fi in the hostel isn't great you only get a few MB of data at a time. Each department has its own lab, and they're all in good shape. The library is big. The college canteen is alright, but the hostel mess food is not that good.

Admission: The professors here are really helpful and know their stuff. They all have their Ph.D. and are experts in their subjects. The teaching is top-notch, and the courses really help us understand the basics. The exams are fair, not too tough if you study. You just need a 33% to pass, which is doable if you put in the work.
Placement: Around 40-45% of students here land good jobs after college. The top salary offered is about 12 LPA, while the lowest is 3 LPA, with an average of 4-5 LPA. Big companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, IBM, Capgemini, and Tech Mahindra come to recruit students here.
Campus: The college has a great department setup for each field with expert teachers. The classrooms are big and nice. They have labs for all subjects too. The hostel is affordable and offers decent amenities. The food in the mess is pretty good. The sports scene is awesome, with a cool sports fest organized by the hostel and seniors. Students really get into the competitive spirit here.
