Admission: The teachers here are super qualified and really know how to keep us motivated. They're always around to lend a hand with studying, personal stuff, or any issues we're dealing with. Plus, they're great at preparing us for tough exams like GATE and ESE. It's awesome!
Placement: The college is great for getting jobs after graduation. It's very focused on corporate stuff. Lots of students land offers in countries like the USA and Germany for further studies. Also, many students get hired by big companies. There are good opportunities for research, and the teachers are really helpful.
Campus: Living in the college hostels is a big part of student life. I stayed in one of the hostels on campus and it was great. The hostel fees were really cheap and anyone could afford it. I didn't have any issues with seniors ragging juniors, which was a relief. The atmosphere in the hostels was super friendly and I felt comfortable there.

Placement: After finishing my Bachelor's degree, I wasn't expecting many job opportunities. But once I started my Master's, companies started coming in my last semester. Most of us get jobs in the R&D department. The average salary is around 46 LPA, but some have even gotten offers up to 12 LPA!
Campus: The labs and classrooms are super well-equipped. Wi-Fi is everywhere on campus. The libraries have tons of books to choose from. Hostels are top-notch and the fees are really cheap.

Admission: The teachers here are really good at what they do. They make sure we understand everything. The course covers all the stuff we need to know to be ready for work. That's why we get good job offers after we graduate. Exams are fair and based on what we learn in class. You just need 40% to pass each one.
Placement: The placement rate is great here, with almost 90% of students finding jobs every year. The highest salary is around 40-50 LPA, while most students get around 15 LPA on average. Big companies like Amazon, Schrodinger, Nvidia, and Texas Instruments come for placements. Almost everyone gets an internship here, especially the top students.

Admission: The teachers here are really nice and always willing to help. They all studied at top colleges like IITs, NITs, or Jadavpur University. This college prepares us well for the industry. The semester exams are tough, but our teachers support us with our studies, so we don't struggle during exams.
Placement: Most students from my batch in 2024 B.Tech mechanical engineering got placed. The highest salary is 32 LPA, while the lowest is 8 LPA. Companies like PWC, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Bajaj Auto, Hero Motor, Caterpillar, and more come for placements. About 40% of us got internships, mainly as manufacturing managers.

Admission: The teachers at JDBI are really understanding and smart. They have a lot of experience and give great advice before exams. I always feel comfortable asking them questions, even if it's not in the syllabus. If you pay attention in class and follow their tips, the semester exams aren't too hard.
Placement: The college gives job chances to students starting from the 4th year. Big companies like Deloitte, Godrej, Pepper Fry, EY, PWC, and more come to hire students. The highest salary is 7 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Many students have business backgrounds, so they usually start their own businesses after graduating.
Campus: The college is big on tech. They give us ID cards with barcodes for library access. All classrooms have AC and water coolers on every floor. But, sports facilities are kind of lacking.

Admission: The teachers are super smart, but not all of them are that nice to students. We gotta write exactly what they taught in exams or from their notes. The subjects can be a bit old-fashioned and some are not that useful. Missing labs can set you back a year. But hey, at least JU doesn't make you go to class all the time.
Placement: The placement cell at JU is awesome! We put in a lot of effort to bring in big companies like MAANG to our campus. Those in circuital branches usually get around 15 LPA, while non-circuital branches get about 10 LPA. Almost everyone gets placed here, almost 100%! And this year, someone even got a crazy 1.8cr salary package.
Campus: The infrastructure at JU is not the best for an engineering college. Some buildings need fixing and others need to be built. The hostels are okay, but some doors are broken. Not all students can stay in the hostel since there's not enough space, and it's not air-conditioned. They do have Wi-Fi, a library, and indoor/outdoor games though.
