Admission: The teachers at JIS UNIVERSITY can be a hit or miss. Most are friendly and helpful, but some show favoritism. It's like if you're cool with a teacher, you'll get more attention and get away with stuff. The teaching is okay to pass the semester, but not great for the job market. Sometimes you're expected to know topics before class, but it's not a big deal. Overall, students aren't really prepared for the industry. Exams are not too hard if you go to class and do assignments. Some teachers give hints for the exam, while others just hand out pdfs and wish you luck. Pass rates are good, but there are exceptions.
Placement: Only a small percentage of students, like 3 to 2%, land good jobs through campus placements. Most of us end up looking for jobs outside the campus. The skills we learn at JIS University are not always enough to impress employers. So, we have to work on basics to make ourselves more hireable. Companies like Byjus, Paytm, and Accenture are big names here, but honestly, not many students get hired by them. It's a bit misleading.
Campus: The facilities here are awesome. The Wi-Fi works well and the labs are in good shape. There are lots of classrooms for classes. We have 2 cool Auditoriums where classes happen, and they're both Air Conditioned. The gym is not always open, even though they talk about it a lot. The electronics Labs have all the stuff we need. But for mechanical Labs, we have to go to a different college on the same campus. Using mobile data is really hard for some reason right now.

Admission: I'd give this college 5 stars because the teachers are great, the way they teach is good, and the exams are fair. The study environment is well-organized with all the tech stuff that makes learning easier. The teachers are really nice and always ready to help.
Placement: I'm a 4th-year B.Pharma student at JIS University, and I'm happy with the placement opportunities here. The university has tie-ups with companies in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and biotech fields. They help us with internships and organize campus placement drives. I know students who got placed in big companies like Cipla, Sun Pharma, and Apollo Hospital. The placement cell also trains us with mock interviews and workshops to improve our skills. Although top companies are scarce, many of us land jobs in quality control, production, and marketing. Salaries usually range from 2.5 to 4.5 LPA, depending on our skills. JIS also encourages us to pursue higher studies and research, which is great.
Campus: The facilities in our department are really great. The classrooms are comfy, and there's a library and a canteen. The labs have all the equipment we need. We have Wi-Fi everywhere on campus, and the university provides a lot of other stuff too. The hostel is decent, but not amazing. We get Wi-Fi and a water cooler, but the food isn't that great. Sadly, there's no playground. The labs, though, are top-notch.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really knowledgeable and always ready to help with any issues we have. The classes are interesting and they do a good job of mixing in practical sessions too. The stuff we learn in class is actually useful for what we're studying.
Placement: Lots of companies visit our college for campus placements like Cipla, Wipro, and Amazon. About half of the recent batch got placed, but some are going for more studies. The average salary for our course is about 3.5 LPA.
Campus: The campus has awesome facilities like top-notch labs for hands-on experiments and classrooms with projectors for interactive learning. Plus, there's free Wi-Fi for all students and elevators to get around easily. Love it here!

Admission: The teachers at our college are awesome! They not only teach us what's in the syllabus but also share stuff that goes beyond it. I've met some really cool teachers here that I never knew existed before.
Placement: The college has great placements with all students landing jobs in top companies. While not all students get placements, the institute promises 100% placement success. The salary packages for freshers in our department vary from 5 LPA to 15 LPA, with an average of 8 LPA.
Campus: Our college is right in the middle of the City of Joy. They're expanding the building to make more space. The campus is easy to reach from all over the city. Our classroom is on the 17th floor, where you can see the whole Kolkata city. The admin block is well-designed, and there are rooms like waiting and co-operating rooms for students. Labs in every department are well-equipped and furnished. Each group of students has its own classroom and facilities. The classrooms have AC, audiovisual stuff, OHP, and slide projectors. There are indoor games, outdoor sports, and activities available. Free Wi-Fi is everywhere on campus. Medical help is available 24/7, and there's a car for pick-ups.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful. They know their stuff and always help us out with anything we need. They use cool technology in class like PPTs and videos to explain things better. And they make sure we understand by answering all our questions. Plus, they mix in some hands-on activities to help us really get it. The course is all about real-world stuff, which is awesome.
Placement: I'm in my second semester here. I haven't landed a job yet, but the teachers are supportive. They help us decide on what to do after we finish the course - whether to pursue further studies or get a job. It's easy to talk to them, and they always offer good advice.
Campus: Our college has a nice library, labs, and classrooms. Wi-Fi is there for everyone. There are PGs nearby where students can stay. Plus, we have plenty of food options around like food stalls and restaurants. It's super convenient!

Admission: The teachers in our department are awesome and know their stuff. They all have their Ph.D. which is cool. They talk to us well and the course they teach in CSE is all new. We have coding clubs and seminars every month to help us get ready for the industry.
Placement: Most years, around 60-70% of students in our batch find jobs. The highest salary for the 2024 batch was 12 LPA, while the lowest was 2.5 LPA. On average, CSE students get 4.5 LPA. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Accenture, and Capgemini hire a lot of students here. You can get roles like junior software developer or junior software tester.
Campus: The college building is huge, with 11 floors and 4 lifts. There are 3 staircases and Wi-Fi everywhere. The classrooms are big, and the labs have all the stuff we need like computers and AC. The library has tons of books and stuff for different subjects. Girls' hostel is on campus, boys' hostel is nearby. No ragging in the hostels, they got CCTV and security. Food in the mess and canteen is okay. There's a big ground next to the college for sports and events, making campus life fun.

Admission: I really like the teachers at this college. They're super friendly and always ready to help. The courses are interesting and the assignments give us a chance to show off our skills. The exams cover a lot of material, which makes them tough but fair. Overall, I think it's a great place to study.
Placement: Recruiters aren't coming as much, which makes sense with how things are in the Indian economy. They do a lot of seminars, and the teachers are really supportive. But it's up to us students to take advantage of what's offered and show that we're ready to do more.
Campus: I love how we have sports tournaments and games all the time. The library is awesome and we even have football, badminton, volleyball, and cricket matches with trophies for winners. They also have a nice ceremony for us. The Wi-Fi works great and we even have an air-conditioned auditorium.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful. They all come from good universities and have at least 5 years of experience. The course is really practical and gets you ready for work. The exams are tough though, with a pass rate of only about 35%.
Placement: Half the students got jobs after college. They offered around 15 LPA on average, with the highest being 25 LPA and the lowest 7 LPA. Big companies like Amazon and Apple hire from here. Not many students get internships, only about 45%. People end up in jobs like Marketing Manager or even start their own businesses.
Campus: The college has Wi-Fi and air conditioning in classrooms. You can find all the books you need at the library. The campus is safe and secure. The food is really good. There's medical help if you need it. You can join clubs for sports or arts. The building is tall with 13 floors, a pool, and nice city views.

Admission: Preparing well for semester exams makes them easy; just don't wait until the last minute. The teachers give helpful notes for exams, so it's not too stressful. Some teachers are great, but others can be dismissive and arrogant. I don't think students will be fully prepared for the industry after finishing this course.
Placement: I got emails about job opportunities, and they asked some students to apply and interview. Out of 22 classmates, only 3 got selected for jobs. I'm studying microbiology, but the placements were for roles like Maruti Suzuki sales or BPO call center, which don't match my course.
Campus: The place looks nice, but the Wi-Fi is slow and doesn't let you access some sites. I don't stay in the hostel, so I can't say much about that. But my friends say the food there isn't great. I tried the food in the canteen, and it wasn't that good either. I didn't join any sports, but there are football tournaments and other events happening.

Admission: The teachers at our college are super helpful and really know their stuff. They get us ready for jobs, studies, and research. I've had a great experience here.
Placement: I'm in my second semester of medical biotechnology and bioinformatics, along with 10 other students. The course is awesome because we get to study both biotechnology and bioinformatics. These subjects are super important in the field of biology and medicine.
Campus: Our college campus is so nice and calm. Our classes are up on the 17th floor, and the labs are really cool with all the machines we need, like those sequencing ones. The computer lab is great, and the library view is amazing. Wi-Fi is fast, and we have clean drinking water and kitchen facilities. The washrooms are always spotless, and the whole campus is air-conditioned. The classrooms look really nice too.
