Admission: I'm in the Mechanical Engineering program. We've got about nineteen faculty members right now. Most of them have a Ph.D., including three professors. Our passing rate is over 60%.

Placement: Around 60% of students in our mechanical engineering course got placed. The top companies that recruit from our course are TCS and Infosys. There are also many other companies that hire from our college and course.

Campus: The infrastructure at our college is top-notch, especially in the Mechanical Engineering course. The labs are well-equipped and the library has a wide range of books to choose from. It's great to have such resources available for our studies.

Admission: The teachers here know their stuff and have a lot of experience. But not all of them are super experienced some don't really understand the subject. They give us key questions before midterms and finals, plus we have two quizzes and three lab exams.

Placement: The top salary package here is around 15-18 Lacs. Most students, like 60%-70%, find jobs in good companies. Accenture, TCS, LinkedIn, and other great companies hire students from our college. I'm not sure about internships, but some seniors mentioned that about half of students do internships. ECE students seem to have better job opportunities than students from other branches.

Campus: The campus is awesome with lots of trees and it's super quiet. Everything there is organized well. Wi-Fi is available and the classrooms, even though old, are kept clean. Hostel rooms are a bit dirty and we have to clean them ourselves. Unlike other colleges, there are no workers to clean. The food in the hostel isn't great and there are hygiene issues.

Admission: The teachers at JNNCE Shimoga really know their stuff and are super helpful. The classes set us up nicely for the real world. Exams are tough but doable, and most people pass with flying colors. All in all, it's been a great learning experience.

Placement: I'm a student at JNNCE Shimoga, and I gotta say, most of us end up getting placed around 75%. The pay is pretty good too, with some snagging €šÂ¹12 Lacs and others starting at €šÂ¹5 Lacs. On average, it's around €šÂ¹8 Lacs. Companies like L&T and WSP hire a lot from here. Plus, almost half of us get internships with cool places like RITES and CEPT. They offer roles like Transportation Planner and Traffic Engineer, which is pretty neat.

Campus: The facilities at JNNCE Shimoga are okay. We have basic Wi-Fi, labs that work fine, and classrooms that are decent. The library could be better with more stuff. The hostels are alright, but they could use some modern things. Food in the mess and canteen is just okay. Medical stuff is basic, and there aren't a lot of sports options. It's not bad, but there's definitely room to make things better.

Admission: The teachers at this college were super helpful and had Masters qualifications. They were really experienced and knew their stuff well. The teaching was top-notch. The semester exams were a breeze to pass without any trouble. The pass rate was over 60%, which is pretty good.

Placement: I loved that the college offered lots of job opportunities for developers and engineers like me. They even had non-teaching roles available, which was cool. Around 60% of students got placed, with the highest salary being 10 LPA and the lowest 2.5 LPA. It was a great experience overall!

Campus: The college had awesome food, a cool canteen, fun games, and great sports facilities. We had labs, classrooms, a library, and a place for clearing doubts. The college gave us lots of facilities. The hostel food was tasty and clean. The hostel was in good shape and well-kept.

Admission: The teachers are really helpful and always there to clear your doubts. You can reach out to them during the day and even after classes. The course has improved a lot with more projects and internships, which help us understand how things work in the real world.

Placement: Most students find jobs through campus placements, but some also get hired from off-campus drives. Last year's highest salary offer was 24 LPA, and the all-time record is 54 LPA. The lowest salary you might get is 2 LPA, and the average is 4.5 LPA. TCS, Wipro, and Infosys are the major recruiters. Internship opportunities depend on your skills and make up about 10-15% of all placements.

Campus: The course setup for our department is good, and the head of department, Chetan Kr, knows a lot. He's really helpful during your time here. The hostel rooms and bathrooms are fine, but the food isn't great. Plus, they don't offer any non-veg choices.

Admission: The teachers here are really supportive and helpful. They do a great job teaching us the material that follows the VTU syllabus. Plus, the Head of Department is always there to support us in everything we do.

Placement: I'm really happy with how many students get jobs after graduating from our college. Most people find work, which is awesome. The best salary you can get is around 10 LPA, while the average is between 3-4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Vodafone, and Accenture come for placements. They offer roles like developer and trainee. It's cool to see so many opportunities for us students!

Campus: The college has great facilities and buildings for each department. The classrooms are big and clean. The campus is huge and nice. The canteen is good, but the food in the mess is just okay.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful. They know their stuff and are always there to help us with any questions we have.

Placement: The college has good placement opportunities, with about half of the students getting placed. Most of the companies that visit are startups, except for TCS which comes for mass hiring every year. Big MNCs don't usually come here. Startups usually hire around 10-15 students. They mainly prefer students from technical branches like CSE, ISE, and AIML. The college provides placement training to help us prepare for aptitude tests and interviews. They bring in outside trainers for this and also provide training on campus.

Campus: The college is great. The campus is huge with separate buildings for each branch. The playground is big and nice. The library is good too. There's a boys hostel on campus, but the girls hostel is outside. I like the greenery and the canteen at the college. Overall, it's a good place to study.

Admission: Most of my friends agree that the lectures at our college are really friendly and helpful. They give us plenty of resources to study and prepare for exams. Our college's department is top-notch we always see our college in the top 10 rankings. While some exams are tough, the lectures make sure we have enough materials to study, so we can do well and get good grades.

Placement: In my department, there were about 60 students. Around 15-16 of them found jobs after graduation. The highest salary was 12 LPA from TCS, while some got 6 LPA and the lowest was 2.4 LPA. A good 40-50% of students found jobs. Popular roles were field engineer and team leads.

Campus: The equipment in our department is great! It's all well-organized and works well. We don't run into many problems when doing experiments. There are plenty of computers for us to use, and the library is huge. It can fit around 100-150 students. We also have a canteen on campus. The food is tasty, but it's a bit expensive now.

Admission: I really like how the course is set up. In the first semester, we have 5 subjects and 6 in the second, all about transducers and sensors in electronics engineering. The third semester has two subjects. I like that this college offers 13 subjects in a year. Our class has about 70 students. The course costs INR 168000 per year.

Placement: The college gives 100% placement, but you need to keep up your grades to qualify. Big companies like Tech Mahindra, Hyundai, and Maruti come for placements. First, there's a written test, then a presentation, and finally an interview if you pass. Around 80% of students get placed. The college helps us prepare for placements.

Campus: The hostels were pretty good. There were separate hostels for guys and girls. The guys' hostel was right on campus, while the girls' hostel was a bit further away. There were 3 hostels for guys and 1 for girls. The rooms were nice, and having Wi-Fi was a bonus. The food in the college mess was decent and you could eat it. External costs were around Rs. 2000Rs. 4000.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful because they mostly have Ph.Ds. The quality of teaching is really good. We have 2-3 internal tests every semester for both lab and theory subjects, plus a final exam. Engineering has 8 semesters in total.

Placement: By the time we reach the 6th semester, we can apply for jobs. Over 60% of us end up getting jobs. Lots of startups show up to hire us. TCS does a big hiring spree every year, taking on a bunch of us at once. The students in technical fields tend to get hired more often.

Campus: The college has good infrastructure. Each branch has its own building and labs. The campus is big and has lots of greenery. There's a cricket ground, throwball court, and indoor games. And there's a canteen on campus too.
