Admission: The faculty support in our department isn't that great. If you like one teacher, you're stuck with them. We've tried switching teachers, but there aren't any replacements. So, we just have to make do with the support we've got.
Placement: If you put in the effort, you can land a job after graduation. I'm not sure how many students get hired yearly, but if you're good at talking with people and solving problems, you'll likely get a job. The average pay is around 3-4 LPA.
Campus: The college has really good facilities and fast Wi-Fi. The classrooms are clean and well-kept. They keep the whole place super clean. The library is open to everyone and has two floors, but they need more books. It's still a decent library overall.

Admission: The teachers at KIT were really knowledgeable and had lots of experience. A bunch of them even had Ph.Ds and led their departments. They were super friendly, so we could ask them anything without feeling nervous. The faculty was always there to support us and do their best to help. KIT became autonomous, so we had our exams on campus. But, don't think you could ace them without studying!
Placement: The college placement cell here is awesome! They began training us in our second year for all courses. They do lots of mock interviews, tests, and coding rounds to prep us for placements. It's great because we get more chances. A bunch of students got internships in their field. About 95% of us landed campus placements with good pay. The highest salary was 20 LPA, and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. The job roles we got depended on our skills and courses.
Campus: KIT is a great college in Kanpur for graduation. It's now autonomous and the first private college here. There are three buildings: KIHE, KITP, and KIT. They mainly have B. Tech and MCA courses. The campus has a big playground, indoor sports, a canteen, and good Wi-Fi. Labs and classrooms are nice with AC. Hostel facilities are good with a medical room and library. The food in the mess was okay.

Admission: The faculty here is awesome! They really help us out in a nice and easy way. Throughout the semester, we have lots of exams and assignments like CT, Sessionals, Make-up Tests, Pre-boards, and the final exam by the university.
Placement: Placement opportunities are pretty good on campus. Lots of companies come for placement, like Flipkart, Tesla, and Wipro. The placement team is super helpful. They give us guidance, practice sessions, and help us with communication skills. It's a great place to kickstart your career!
Campus: The college buildings are pretty good. We have lecture theatres with projectors for better learning. And there are lots of computer labs with over 700 computers.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and know their stuff. They explain things well and you can ask them as many questions as you need. The courses are practical and prepare you well for the industry. Just make sure to stay focused and manage your time wisely to do well.
Placement: Around 20% of us land jobs after college. The pay can go from 12.5k to 40k a month. Most jobs are in sales. Some of us also get internships. The roles we get are in sales, training, development, and programming. It's cool to have options!
Campus: The campus has awesome facilities. They have Wi-Fi everywhere. They have lots of labs, and classrooms can fit over 100 students. The library has all the books you need. Washrooms are clean, and they provide cold drinking water. The canteen is a nice spot to grab a snack. The campus even has a cool garden. Plus, there are 3 parking lots and a playground for chilling out.

Admission: The classes are cool because we get to do real stuff like case studies, projects, and internships. The teachers really know their stuff and are always there to help. The program focuses on what's actually happening in the industry. Exams are tough, but most people pass.
Placement: Most students in my course got placed, around 80%. Almost everyone got internships, about 90%. The pay packages varied a lot from 4 to 15 LPA. Google, Microsoft, and Deloitte are some of the big companies that hire from our college. Many students also interned at Amazon and IBM. Popular job roles are Software Engineer, Data Analyst, and Consultant.
Campus: The classrooms here are big and have cool stuff like smartboards and projectors for interactive learning. The campus has fast Wi-Fi, so it's easy to do research and study online. There are special labs for computers and science with all the latest gear to use. The hostels are comfy with everything you need, and the food in the mess and canteen is pretty good and healthy. They've got medical help on campus, and the sports facilities are top-notch.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really helpful. Most of them know their stuff and are good at teaching. Some might not be as supportive, but overall they're great. It's cool how many of them can teach different languages like Java, C+, and C all at once. This makes learning easy and interesting.
Placement: Almost half of the students get jobs every year. Things might change later on. More students are getting jobs now because colleges are autonomous. This means they can make their own courses and exams. I'm in the first batch of autonomous students. The course content is good, focusing on skills that companies need. In my CS branch, we only study CS-related subjects like physics, chemistry, and mechanical.
Campus: The college has about 14 labs with internet, AC lecture halls with projectors, and a library open from 9 am to 8 pm daily. Both the girl's and boy's hostels have a badminton court and ground. The food in the mess is good. There are medical facilities, a canteen, 4 grounds, a basketball court, a volleyball court, and a cricket ground on campus.

Admission: The teachers at AKTU University know their stuff, but the course material is old-fashioned. You gotta put in extra effort to catch up with what's happening in the industry. The exams? Piece of cake! You can pass them with just a night of cramming.
Placement: I was able to land a job with a 10 LPA package through campus placement, which was great. The college's placement cell offers lots of chances to get a good job. It's up to you to show what you know and work hard to secure a decent job.
Campus: The college has good classrooms and a hostel. I didn't stay in the hostel, so I can't talk about the food and stuff. But the college's building is nice and improving all the time. The labs could be better, especially the computer labs. The computers are old and not very useful for learning. It's better to have your own laptop.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really awesome. They all have Ph.Ds, which is cool. Exams are fair here, and everyone passes, which is great. The teachers are always there to help, whether it's about studying, sports, or just how you're feeling.
Placement: The college offers an average package of 6 LPA with 100% placement. Companies like Teligence, Wipro, TCS, Google, and Microsoft come for recruitment every year. In the last year, they provide training for placements, and the teachers and staff are really helpful during this time.
Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a great library. The food in the hostel is really good. The library has a quiet area, and the classrooms are super clean. The hostel serves hygienic food, and the rooms are nice and clean too.

Admission: Since 2025, KIT has gone independent, which means they trimmed down the curriculum to focus on what really matters. They got rid of stuff like Chemistry that we don't need. The teachers really know their stuff and keep up with what's new. They teach well too. If you show up to class and study, the exams are a breeze. But if you slack off, they can be tough. You need at least 40% to pass.
Placement: I have mixed feelings about the job placements at our college. They say students get placed, but they don't tell us how much money we're talking about. It makes me wonder if the placements are for real.
Campus: The campus is pretty good. I don't live in the hostel, so I can't say much about it. The library is huge, with two floors full of books. Classrooms have AC and projectors. The health services are good, and there are lots of sports to try like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, carrom, chess, and more.
