NTA has confirmed that JEE Main 2026 Session 2 will be held from April 2 to April 9, 2026. The registration for Session 2 will open after the completion of Session 1 results on jeemain.nta.nic.in.

1 Nov, 2025 : NTA JEE Main 2026 Registration has started. The National Testing Agency (NTA) opened the registration process on October 31, 2025, through the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in.

24 Oct, 2025 :

The NTA has announced the JEE Main 2026 exam dates. Session 1 will be held from January 21 to January 30, 2026.

B.Com 7 courses	₹ 2.0 L	10+2 from recognized board; often any stream, but computer subjects/maths are plus. Admission by merit. Exams : CBSE Class 12 Exam
B.E. / B.Tech 10 courses	-	10+2 examination (or equivalent) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as part of the prescribed curriculum. Exams : CBSE Class 12 Exam
MCA 1 course	-	Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science at 10+2 or UG level, minimum 50% aggregate
B.Arch 1 course	-	10+2 examination or an equivalent, with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Exams : NATA
B.Sc. 7 courses	-	10+2 from recognized board with relevant subjects (including maths / science). Merit-based. Exams : CBSE Class 12 Exam
BBA 1 course	-	10+2 from recognized board. Merit-based admission. Exams : CBSE Class 12 Exam
M.E./M.Tech 5 courses	-	B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering, minimum 50% aggregate
B.Des 2 courses	-	10+2 (HSC) or equivalent from a recognized board; minimum 50% aggregate, preferably with Arts/Design background Exams : CBSE Class 12 Exam
BCA 1 course	-	10+2 in any stream, preferably with Mathematics or Computer Science. Minimum 50-55% marks. Exams : CBSE Class 12 Exam
B.Pharma 1 course	-	10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Maths. Min. 50% in PCB/PCM.
M.A. 1 course	-	Bachelor’s degree in Arts / Science / Commerce with English as a subject, minimum 50% aggregat
