Admission: If you're in 12th grade, you can apply for this course, but not everyone gets in. You gotta pass a test by the college to get in. Study up on the course topics you're into, and if you ace it, you're in. Grab the application form from the college site. Check out the fees and dates there or in your email. No special spots saved here. Exams are fair, so you gotta put in the work to pass.
Placement: I graduated from here in 2023 with a BA in English. They don't help with placements, but the faculty is great. They give us a lot of support and advice for life after college. They have both online and offline classes at RICE institutions.
Campus: I'm a Science student and I chose to do my graduation in Zoology at this college. I love animals and Biology, so this course seemed like a perfect fit for me. The campus has everything you need like a cafeteria, gym, playground, library, and more. They even offer a scholarship for students who need financial help, which is great. Overall, I'm happy with my choice to study here.

Admission: The teachers in the department are super helpful. They all have M.Sc from top universities. They teach really well and go beyond the syllabus, which is awesome. Their knowledge is top-notch.
Placement: Most students from Bankura district joined our course here, around 67%. The highest salary offered is 3 LPA, and there's no internship requirement. I recommend this college to anyone who wants to study math better than other colleges in Bankura.
Campus: This college has everything you need. They serve good food and you can live healthy here. You can find a medical store, sports, canteen, and games on campus. They also have Wi-Fi, a digital library, digital classrooms, and a language lab.

Admission: The classes are easy to follow, and the professors explain everything clearly. We get our notes from the student forum every week, which is super helpful. The course stays relevant because they update the curriculum often. The teachers make sure we're up-to-date on the latest developments in the field.
Placement: Getting a job after college is a breeze at this place. They bring in lots of companies for us to meet. The job placements are top-notch. I know plenty of students who landed jobs right after graduation. And those who didn't? They're still doing great on their own.
Campus: This college in Khatra is awesome! The washrooms and canteen are always clean. The teachers here are really talented and super friendly. They've got a gym, cricket, and volleyball grounds for us to play. Plus, we can go outside for fun stuff. The hostel is pretty good too. We've got all kinds of fun things to do here. The teachers really motivate us to do our best.

Admission: The teachers in my department were not great. Only a few of them showed up for classes regularly. The daily routine was all over the place. The curriculum followed Burdwan University's general one, which I found odd compared to other colleges. Exams were okay. We had 2 internals and a final semester paper. It was pretty easy since most questions were from previous years.
Placement: I studied B.A. gen course at this college from 2017 to 2020. It's in a rural area about 50 km from Bankura in Khatra division. Since lots of students are from rural areas, there aren't many job placements. No companies come to hire students, even those in the Science stream don't get placed.
Campus: The college hasn't really improved its buildings since it started. The admin building is old, and my classes were in dark, damp rooms that are in bad shape. Some departments have Wi-fi, but the campus doesn't have free internet. The library has old, outdated books.

Admission: The teachers in our department were mostly helpful. They were good at explaining and analyzing our text. Around 85% of students passed the last exam. The semester exams aren't too hard if you study well. It really depends on the teacher. I'd say most of the teachers, about 90%, were very inspiring and guided us well. But some were more laid back.
Placement: This college doesn't offer placements because it's a Government College. But remember, hard work pays off and every degree is valuable. The best part is, students can take lots of courses over three/four years to learn different skills.
Campus: The college has 2 main buildings: a canteen building and a hostel building. It's a great place to study. The library on the 2nd floor has lots of helpful books, and the librarian is really nice. There's a big playground, 3 lovely gardens, separate gyms for girls and boys, and a computer lab. They also have an auditorium and a canteen with tasty food. They hold annual sports events too. Overall, it's a welcoming campus.
