Admission: The teachers are nice, but I feel like they could be more knowledgeable. Sometimes they give their best, but other times they seem lazy. The course content feels really old, and the exams are a breeze if you study even just a bit before.

Placement: GCEK is a pretty new college, but they're doing well with placements for Civil Engineering students. The Placement Cell works hard to connect with top companies like TCS and Wipro. The placement rate is going up, which is great. But honestly, the placements for Civil aren't that high right now. L&T doesn't come to campus yet, but there's a good chance they might in the future. Most students who got good jobs did it through off-campus placements. The highest salary for Civil was 6 LPA. Can't really say much about the lowest because there are a lot of students still looking for jobs.

Campus: The college has great facilities for Civil Engineering students. Labs have all the tools needed for hands-on learning. The classrooms have smart boards for interactive lessons. The Wi-Fi is okay, but it can be slow sometimes. We have sports facilities too, which is awesome. Overall, it's a good place to study and prepare for the real world.

Admission: The teachers at our college are awesome! They're super helpful, friendly, and really know their stuff. They're always there to support us and make sure we understand everything. The course work is not too hard, which is great for exams. But I wish the semester tests were a little easier.

Placement: Most students here get jobs, around 70-80%. Lots of companies come to hire us. The salary they offer is pretty good for everyone.

Campus: The library is amazing! You can find all kinds of sources there, from books to computers. The classrooms and labs could use some improvement though. The hostels are really nice, each room has its own bathroom and balcony attached.

Admission: The exams are organized well at our college. We have two semesters every year, and after each semester, we have lab exams and two internal assessments. The BPUT (Biju Patnaik University of Technology) conducts the semester exams, and the marking system is fair.

Placement: In Computer Science Engineering, about half of us get placed, averaging around 50%. We usually land jobs at companies like TVS and Infosys, but in Electrical Engineering, placements are even better, at around 6 LPA from Tata Steel Limited and Adani Limited. For us in Computer Science, we can also go for campus placements and grab salaries between 8 to 10 LPA. Overall, though, placement options in Computer Science Engineering are not as strong.

Campus: The hostel buildings here are really nice. There are three hostels for first, second, and third-year students. They also have a mess hall. Each room fits three students and has a bed, study table, and chair for studying.

Admission: The teachers at this college really know their stuff and are super helpful. They give us good notes and make sure we understand our homework. They get us ready for real work and jobs. The tests are tough, but they push us to do our best. Love it here!

Placement: A lot of students land good jobs after college. The highest salary package is 56 LPA, while the average is 12 LPA. The lowest salary offered is 5 LPA. Big companies like Mankind and Glenmarks come for campus placements. The most popular course here is D.Pharma.

Campus: The campus is nice, but it's not huge. They have labs for doing experiments and projects. Everyone gets Wi-Fi for studying. There's a library for those who want to study more. The hostel could be better, and the food needs improvement.

Admission: The teachers were really helpful and knew their stuff. The course was taught well, but there were some changes in the teaching staff later on. The topics covered were good and matched the syllabus, but it could have been more focused on getting us ready for the industry.

Placement: The placement rate for our course was pretty low, around 15-20%. The salary packages offered weren't great, usually around 15-20k. Not many core companies visited for placements, but there were some IT and customer service companies. Unfortunately, there wasn't any internship program for our course.

Campus: The college buildings were well-built, but there weren't many facilities. The classrooms were average, and the labs needed better equipment. They had the basics, but an upgrade would be nice. The hostel wasn't very big, and the food was alright. They should improve the focus on sports and games.

Admission: The teachers here are not super knowledgeable. Some are okay, but they can't cover everything in a semester. Only a few teachers are good at teaching. Most of them are not great. The course content is not that helpful. We have to take extra classes to learn computer languages for jobs.

Placement: Placement opportunities are limited here. Only Infosys visits for placements, and usually only 3 to 4 students get jobs each year. The starting salary is around 12 to 20 thousand. Unfortunately, the college doesn't offer any internships, so students have to find their own.

Campus: The college has decent infrastructure, but the facilities are lacking. The computer systems in labs are old, Wi-Fi is unreliable, and the fans in classrooms don't work well. The library is good, but the classrooms are messy. Hostel facilities are okay, but the drinking water quality is poor. They have purifiers, but they're not cleaned regularly. There are medical facilities available. The mess and canteen are there, but the food quality isn't great. Finding good food can be tough. The college doesn't organize sports events, except for Cricket. Students have to plan sports events themselves without any help from the college.

Admission: The faculty here is super nice and friendly. They really know their stuff and make learning fun. The course is all about management and manufacturing, so you learn a lot. Exams are fair, especially the semester one. Almost everyone passes with flying colors.

Placement: The placements here are pretty good. I checked them out when I got into this college about 5 or 6 years ago. Around 85% of students end up getting placed, which is awesome. Big companies like Mahindra, Wipro, Infosys, and Bajaj Motors also come here to hire students, which is cool.

Campus: The college here has awesome facilities for studying and staying in the hostel. The labs for engineering students are top-notch. Classrooms are clean and the library is nice. The hostel has good discipline, helpful staff, tasty food in the canteen, and reliable medical services. They also offer personal cabs for emergencies. The sports facilities are great, with a good playground and a nice atmosphere on campus.

Admission: The professors here are really cool and friendly. They know their stuff and are always willing to help out. We take a field trip to see how things are done in real businesses, which is super interesting. The exams are fair, and most students pass with flying colors, like almost everyone got through the semester exam.

Placement: I go to Konark Institute of Science and Technology (KIST). The placement scene in our college is not great. I did some research and found out that there haven't been many good placements in the last 5-6 years. If you're thinking of joining, just know that you might have to really work hard to find a good placement. The college doesn't do a great job with placements, but you can still land a job that pays around 10-15k. But honestly, as an MBA student, it's not the best option. The highest salary package is around 6 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Motherson, and American Express do come for recruitment, but there aren't any big names. Not many students get internships here, which might be their own fault. The main role offered is in finance.

Campus: The college has great facilities for studying and living in the hostel. Wi-fi is available on campus, and the labs are top-notch for engineering students. The classrooms are well-kept, and the library is awesome. The hostel has good discipline, helpful staff, tasty food in the canteen, and good medical facilities. They even provide a personal cab for emergency medical services. The college also offers a variety of sports and games with a nice playground and a great environment.

Admission: The teachers at our college are really knowledgeable. They teach in a way that makes it easy for everyone to get it. We have a test after each topic, and there are two teachers for each subject, looking after around 50 students.

Placement: The best thing about our college is that top companies come here for internships and jobs. When you graduate from here, you get a lot of practical experience. This helps a lot in finding good placements later on. Our college has great placement opportunities, especially compared to other courses.

Campus: The canteen here is awesome with lots of food options for us students. Our college has a big hostel that's always kept clean. Plus, we've got a cool badminton court, and the classrooms have AC and projectors. It's great!

Admission: The teachers here are mostly former students who don't know much about the subjects. It's hit or miss with who's teaching you. There are a few good teachers, but they don't stick around long. We don't get to see much of what actually happens in the industry, and the teaching quality is low. Some teachers can't even speak English properly they end up using Hindi or Odiya. I had to take a programming course outside of college because of this. The college offers placement training, but it's not very effective. It seems like the teachers themselves are struggling to find jobs.

Placement: The placements here are really bad. Only a few companies come for hiring, mostly for Call Centre and Tech Support roles. The Training and Placement department doesn't help much. If you do get a job, the college takes 3 months of your salary upfront before giving you the offer letter. I had to pay 40k just to get my completion certificate. Only about 10% of CSE students get placed in Call Centres. Not many good companies visit, and some are even fake. They hire you but never give you an offer letter. The highest package was 2.4lpa in 2016, not the 6lpa they claim. There are no internships offered by the college, and even the projects seem fake. The placement cell seems useless, only focused on taking money from students for fake placements.

Campus: The college's infrastructure is really bad. Labs don't have enough equipment, the library has a few books, and there's no medical facility on campus. The hostel rooms are tiny they squeeze 3 students in each room. The Wi-Fi is unreliable. When you join, they promise 2 beds per room, but end up stuffing 3 students in. There's no caretaker, and they just dump and burn waste in the backyard. The hostel food is the worst even their chicken makes you sick. I got typhoid twice and a UTI once while staying there. Washrooms are only cleaned if you yell at the management.
