KL University has well furnished hostels that aim at providing secure, comfortable and favorable living situation to the students. The hostels are designated as boys and girls with various rooms options (AC and non-AC), and single or multiple occupancy. Basic facilities like attached bathrooms, Wi-Fi, and power backup are provided in the rooms.
KL University Hostel Fee Structure at Vaddeswaram Campus
KL University Vaddeswaram Campus provides diverse hostel facilities with different types of rooms and payment systems depending on the preference and financial capabilities of various students. Non-AC and AC room types with common or attached toilets, 1-bed to 4-bed sharing are available.

KL University Hostel: Additional Fee Details and Payment Options
Electricity charges are not included in the above fees and will be charged separately as per actual utility consumption. These charges are deducted from the security deposit paid at admission, which amounts to INR 4,000 for Non-AC rooms and INR 12,000 for AC rooms. At the time of first admission, students must also pay a one-time registration fee of INR 5,000, which is non-refundable.
To accommodate different financial preferences, students have the flexibility to pay hostel fees in one of the following ways:
- Single instalment payment
- Two instalments
- Up to eight instalments spread over a period of 10 months
Additionally, Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be charged extra as per government norms wherever applicable.
