Koshys Institute of Management Studies has its Training & Placement Cell (T&P). The Cell has secured a remarkable record of successful placement of its students in top-notch leading companies. It arranges & coordinates various programs that help students develop skills to meet industry expectations. The Training and Placement Cell of KIMS Bangalore maintains good relationships with industry giants and leading companies such as Toyota, Accenture, Muthoot Finance, Indegene, Concentrix Technology Services India Pvt Ltd, FNF India Pvt. Ltd., and many more. Students are trained to master their soft skills, technical, aptitude, verbal skills, etc. The prime responsibility of the Training and Placement Cell is to invite recruiting companies for Pre-Placement Talks followed by final placements.

The Cell looks after students' overall development including improving employability skills and facilitating training sessions both internally and externally. The training sessions are carried out differently semester-wise. Check out the table below -

Pre/Post Training Activities

1. The Cell consolidates the academic performance of the students.
2. Identification of the skill requirement of students based on industry/company job descriptions.
3. Prepare training schedule and plan of action - Slot I.
4. Training sessions are conducted as per the schedule.
5. Trainers are also identified based on the skill set which is to be developed among the students.
6. Students' feedback is given after each module of training.
7. Slot II - A training schedule is prepared and a plan of action is based on corrective measures.

Koshys Institute of Management Studies Placement Procedure for Students

1. During the beginning of the academic year, each student is advised to participate in aptitude tests or counseling activities to figure out if they want to pursue higher studies or go for placements.
2. Interested students are required to submit a form showcasing their interest in any job post or company to the Training & Placement Cell.
3. Registered students will be given opportunities by the TPC.
4. Selected students will be required to complete all other necessary formalities as required by the employer and join the designated company or organization within the given timeframe.

Koshys Institute of Management Studies Placement Procedure for Participating Companies/Employers

1. The Training and Placement Cell will invite companies and employers for campus recruitment.
2. The TPC would then send the resumes and profiles of registered students to the respective Companies as per the Students' interests.
3. Next, the company or employer will confirm a date or discuss it with the Coordinator of TPC to confirm a date.
4. After date confirmation, the participating company or recruiters conduct a Pre-Placement Talk, Group Discussions, and Personal Interview for shortlisted candidates.
5. At last, final shortlisted students will be invited for an interview round for final selection.
6. The companies will announce the final results of selected students for successful placement in their company soon after the interview round.
